      I started the saint view series backwards, I didn’t think I’d enjoy the this series because I already knew the outcome. But I started the book and next thing I knew it was done. Mrs. Thorpe is AMAZING. Her words are so captivating. This is a great story. Great narration.

      I really enjoyed Saint View High so I was intrigued to see how I would like the 1st set of spinoffs and boy I was not disappointed. This plot I think has just as much umph to it compared to SVH, which I was surprised because of how intense and intricate that one was. I really like this MC, Mae, and how tenacious she is, how she wants to do the right thing (I really like her career choice, I didnt think I would but I love that this author has highlighted it and I really fell for it in book 2 that I am already devouring haha). I enjoyed the different guys in the harem, how different they are but how they have some shared experiences and can relate to one another.

      I really didnt like Liam in the beginning but he REALLY grew on me and he is my absolute fave, even more so in book 2! He is my ideal sexy nerd hahaha and his kinky side is very awesome as well ?. I love that out of the 3 he is the one who puts ideas in Mae's mind about a possible future. I feel so bad for Heath and we don't get a lot of time with him but I know he is gonna break my heart and put it back together later in this series. I wanted to throttle Rowe with how he treated Mae and Heath in book 1, I know he doesnt know the backstory but what a jerk. It was good to see some of his walls come down but he was so rude to Mae I would have slapped him silly. I did enjoy the hints of M/M and the attraction between the guys or talked about. Cannot wait to get some in books 2 and 3!!

      I absolutely loved the cameos from SVH in SVP! Loved seeing Colt, Lacey, Banjo, Rage, Luna, and Selena. Loved Mae connecting with them all and hope we get more glimpses from this throughout this series. I was intrigued by some of the side characters in this book and am interested to see if they get their own series or make an impact to this storyline. Not a fan of Boston, was intrigued by the strip club owner, was shocked by Vincent hahaha. Didnt see one of the big twists coming. Was happy to see some people get what was coming to them though! The big conflict at the end of book 1 was so gut wrenching, so engaging, I couldnt get enough.

      Totally forgot to mention about the narration! Love these 2 narrators, have listened to both before. Nikki does a great job with Mae and the other ladies (the anguish/sadness from Selena was done so well and the fear during the big confrontation was well-performed! Jarman has a great tone to his voice and does these characters justice. I like how Liam sounds different than Heath and Rowe (which makes sense based on their personalities/builds/etc.). His conflict with Liam's backstory and Heath when he is being beaten/captured for the crime he didnt commit pulled at my heartstrings. 5/5 for the narration!

      On to book 2 and loving it so far! This author has cemented herself on my one-click list and love how all are on audio. Gonna gobble them all up this winter ❤️ 100% recommend!

      WOW!!!! Talk about a great beginning to a why choose romance! The angst, the suspense, the heat, the intrigue!! I've read plenty of reverse harem romance troupes but NEVER one like this one. My first book by Elle Thorpe will not be my last...(obviously because this is a trilogy lol) but seriously, she's a great storyteller!
      On to book 2 now!! "SOLITARY SINNERS" here I come!!!

      Great start to a series. I don’t really care for suspense in books but damn Elle writes it so well with just the right amount of romance. Can’t wait to see where this goes.
