The 2023 Citywide Spring Cleanup, hosted by the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Department of Public Works, has been scheduled for Saturday, April 22nd from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Hundreds of volunteers will venture into our parks, streets, and neighborhoods to collect the trash that has accumulated over the winter and help beautify our shared public spaces.

MGCC is a site host for the 2023 Citywide Spring Cleanup! 

Locations: Summit Avenue & Mississippi River Blvd

Join us in making our neighborhood a cleaner environment for everyone to enjoy this spring! Trash and recycling bags will be supplied and recycling & trash will be collected after the event. Please bring your own gloves or trash picker tool as we will not be providing these items.

We strongly encourage eco-friendly transportation to and from each site! There will be coffee at each site and a chance to win an MGCC t-shirt. Enter your email address to be entered to win!
