Marcy's Kundalini Yoga Teacher Certification

My name is Marcy Campos, as you know I am a special education teacher and a single mother of a child with Autism. I have been working on myself to improve and heal. Through my journey of healing, I discovered Kundalini Yoga and it has been an intrinsic part of my healing work. As of late, I have been feeling a calling to become a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher to be able to help my community heal. I want to become certified to help other families of children with special needs heal and relieve stress.

Research shows that caretakers and parents of children with special needs are twice as likely to suffer from mental health issues than parents of typically developing children. I want to help those parents and offer my services as an Afro-Latina woman to help my community see themselves and heal.

The money raised will be used to pay for my Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training offered by Temple 143 Kundalini Atelier. The training will span from March 4, 2023, to May 21, 2023. It will take place every weekend and at the end of the training, I will have completed 240 hours and will be a certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor. At the end of the training, there will be a test which I will pass. I appreciate all of you and thank you in advance for your assistance.
