Business Planning and Strategy
- with Sue Austin, Sue Austin Consulting

Why have a Business Plan? The purpose of a business plan is to clarify your mission, goals and action plan for success. It’s a living blueprint for running and growing your business, reviewed regularly to ensure it remains relevant and top of mind.

For this MoA Directors' session, Sue will explain the importance of a Business Plan and how to go about creating a plan or strategy which resonates with your personal and professional goals.

Sue will also explore ways to overcome the challenges which can get in the way of achieving your goals.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Sue Austin works with the owners of architecture practices, helping to address the complex challenges of running a business. Her support includes business health checks, strategy reviews and leadership skills development.

Details for the upcoming MoA Directors' sessions in summer coming soon.

ABOUT THE MoA DIRECTORS programme

The MoA Directors is a membership programme that offers the opportunity for directors and owners of small and medium-sized practices to network and share knowledge about how they run their businesses and explore business ideas.

Launched in 2017, the programme has been very well received and many directors rejoin. The sessions are attended by directors or owners only and the information that is shared is for the benefit of the group and for the members only. Each session focuses on one topic or issue and is chaired by an industry expert  - there to offer valuable insight into the discussion.

In line with our mission as a charity to help architects and people in the industry to be more entrepreneurial, MoA Business Academy programmes are now donation-based and free for those who can't currently contribute.

The 2020-21 Series will focus specifically on the current situation and challenges the profession is facing.
