Thank you for your interest in our remote study!
Thank you for your interest in participating in our remote study conducted by the Numeracy and Educational Neuroscience Laboratory at Gallaudet University. We study the impacts of language experience on numerical thinking. The purpose of this online study is to understand what young children know about numbers. This study has been approved by the Gallaudet University Institutional Review Board (IRB), which is the ethics panel for the university.

Your child is eligible if s/he is between 2.5 and 5 years of age and uses ASL.

We will meet via Zoom, a web conferencing software (instructions will be sent if you are not familiar with it). The session should last about twenty (20) minutes. Some children may take more or less time, but we won’t rush you or your child. During the session, we will play some games with your child. We plan to record the session but you will be free to ask us to stop recording or have the recording deleted at any time.

For your participation, we will send you an electronic $15 Amazon Gift Card!
