Nanny Love Match #3

The Nanny and the Beefcake

Rate this book

The world knows Erasmus Cress as a British boxing champion and a single dad, but what they don’t know is that he’s also an O thief. Yep, that O. The OMG, don’t stop, please, don’t stop, O.

The infuriating beefcake rendered yoga instructor Libby Lamb an off-balance O-deprived mess with one arrogant glance, which turns out to be an occupational hazard when her job is to remain calm, cool, and collected.

She never expected to become the boxer’s nanny, but she’s got bills to pay and brothers to support. Not to mention, the beefcake’s ripped physique might be the key to reclaiming her O and restoring her inner peace.

Here’s the deal. She’s out of options, and so is he.

He’s training for the fight of his life, and he needs someone to care for his son.

He says he doesn’t do relationships. But when their eyes meet, and the gloves come off, there’s no denying his yang is hot for her yin.

They clash at every turn, but Erasmus soon learns that the fight that matters the most might not be the one in the boxing ring. When it’s all on the line, the true battle will be the fight for Libby’s heart.

I am loving the Nanny Love Match series and I couldn't wait to get my hands on Libby and Erasmuss story.
Libby Lamb is a struggling yoga instructor. She works hard to make ends meet each month, but the planets have not yet aligned for her. When her next big break turns out to be a sham she is devastated, she is trying not only to support herself but help her twin brothers in medical school. Now she needs a new gig and fast. Now let's talk about her found neighbor at the studio. She has found that she is right next door to the gym that just so happens to have a boxer beefcake that has knocked her off her game. She has found herself all out of sorts, she lost her will for self-induced O's and just the sight of him makes her crazy! She needs to fix this and fast.
Erasmuss Cress is a single dad that finds himself in the states and awaiting the arrival of his mom and son Sebastian. The last thing this boxer needs right before the fight of his career is a slight looney but insanely beautiful yoga gal yelling, screaming and throwing phallic symbols at him!
This couple now finds themselves at the hands of the Nanny match maker and believe me neither one saw this coming. The powers and energy that surrounds them is powerful, it soon comes down to the fact that they cannot deny it. This couple is fun, sweet, sexy and have fabulously funny witty banter! I just loved them and their crazy world!

It is being a long time since I've read a longer book. I do admit, it took me quite a while, but I loved it. And I had soo much fun reading it. The funny situations in the book were literally exploding one after another. From gongs being punched to stuff flying, birds, donkeys and everything you can think of.

Libby and Raz were the cutest couple ever. I liked that they both felt the connection between each other and we're dreaming about the other person.

Sebastian was a hell of a cool child. He was smart and funny and he looved "Mibby" 🥰.

What I particularly liked within the book was, that there was no mumbo jumbo drama with the main couple and they wanted to stay together no matter what ❤️.

It will be really interesting to read the next book - Harper and Landon. This I have to see 😁.

5 star review The Nanny And The Beefcake (Nanny Love Match #3) by Krista Sandor
This was a great addition to the Nanny Love Match series. This is Erasmuss (Raz “the Beast”) Cress and Libby Lamb’s story and couldn’t wait to dive in. This was a fun, quirky read from the first chapter to the last.
I love single parent stories and this series has ticked the boxes for me and The Nanny and the Beefcake was no exception. The last thing Libby, a yoga instructor expected was to suddenly find herself nanny to Raz's son, Sebastian however, bills need to be paid and she is out of options.
From the moments they met, sparks flew; there was plenty of passion, witty banter and wonderful characters that had me smiling and laughing on numerous occasions. They could not be more different, Raz is a grump and Libby is a breath of fresh air, yet these two are meant to be together. With a little help from Grandmother Finola Cress and Madelyn Malone it seems that these two are about to get the happily ever after they deserve and I for one couldn’t be happier.
Add in donkeys, an adorable little boy named Sebastian and his “gang”and you have a witty, steamy story that will leave you with a smile on your face. I think that this may well be my favourite in the series so far.

This one is classic Sandor and she's truly pulled out all the stops! I laughed, I cried, I blushed, and I laughed some more. So much that my sides hurt and tears ran down my face. Matchmaker Madelyn Malone is back, with a little help from Grandma Finola Cress, to find a nanny for boxing champion, Raz “The Beast” Cress's son Sebastian.

Except Raz and Libby Lamb, yoga teacher and master of all things Zen, find each other first. Their meeting (for an extremely critical reason that starts with a big O) is hysterically funny, very public, and quite popular, in an internet viral sensation sort of way.

Oh, my heart y'all, I couldn’t love this book more if I tried! Libby and Raz are hilarious together, but there’s a sweet vulnerability under all their layers that hit my heart in the best of ways with a sweet, tender poignance.

We get to catch up with previous characters, which is great, of course, but wait until you see Sebastian together with Phoebe and Oscar. All I can say is the world better watch out, because these three are hilarious, wise beyond their years, and unstoppable!

Raz and Libby leave Denver to go to the small town of Rickety Rock where we meet some quirky, colorful characters, including two loveable donkeys and a dude named Zen Dougie. (No kidding.) Libby and Raz are competing in a race alongside donkeys to celebrate the town’s mining history because, reasons, while Raz also trains for the most important boxing match of his career.

Beautiful, brilliant, and pure perfection, this is so much more than a journey to forever. It reminds us that love is far more than infatuation and compatibility – that it's boundless, uncontainable and unquantifiable. That the energy of loved ones we've lost still lingers to lend a guiding light on which path to choose, if we're open to receiving that guidance.

I can’t imagine how this supremely gifted wordsmith can top this one. It’s my favorite read from her to date and one of my top five reads this year. Whatever you do, make sure you don’t miss this sensational, satisfying, unforgettable read. After all, I'd hate to have to unleash Sebastian and his little gang of first-grade ruffians on you. ;)

Donkeys, grumps, kids, auras, and a crow bent on blessing every surface with its….love. That’s some of what you can expect here. And yet, it all works! And let’s not forget the hilarious displays of rage yoga (and a few other forms of yoga) to help get Libby and Erasmus on the same team. But when things twist a little bit, can Raz get his head right before he breaks everyone’s heart in his life?

Raz is very much a grump. Libby isn’t. Or, she wasn’t before some big ol’ hottie came along and threw her entire being off kilter. So when she’s matched with said dumb man, she’s got to figure out how to get right with the world. And that dumb man needs to figure out how to right himself and his world, as well. So these two set out to test a few theories, win a race with donkeys, and hopefully win the fight for hearts that appear to be utterly unavailable for even a halfway win sometimes.

I’ve enjoyed this series, but I think that Libby, Raz, and all that comes with both of them may be the best so far. They’ve both got some heavy grief on their backs. They both love his son. And they’re both trying so hard to fight their attraction to each other that they’re bound to fail in a spectacular manner.
And beneath all of the cornball comedy this author brings, she brought how to deal with loss and anger and sadness and fear in ways that almost slip past your defenses before you notice the lessons within her words. All of that made these two my favorites so far. And, y’know, donkey yoga made quite the impact also. So enjoy their ride and then hope for Landon’s story fast because I have a feeling he’s got a lot to share, as does Harper.

Raz (Erasmus) needs a nanny for his son Sebastian. Libby needs to pay her bills. Fate brings these two opposites together with some metaphysical help from a gone but not forgotten mother, a matchmaker, and donkeys. But hold on, they may have been brought together by fate, and in the cutest, funniest way possible, but nothing more than a professional relationship is meant to be because Raz is training for the biggest fight of his career and nothing and no one can distract him from that. Well, if some very determined forces have their way, this grumpy fighter and this enlightened yoga master will be together.

Laugh out loud moments, lots of shenanigans both by humans and animals, the cutest kid ever, and a grumpy/sunshine couple who hide some very real vulnerabilities and pain deep inside - a great combination and my favorite in this fun series. Can't wait for the next nanny to fall in love!

Raz, Libby, and Sebastian are adorable 💜

RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5
STEAM: 🔥🔥🔥

I always love jumping into the Nanny Love Match world, and this visit is no different. The book just hits the spot when it comes to rom-com, and while kids in books are not everyone's jam, Krista Sandor does a remarkable job in writing the most adorable children.

Libby Lamb needs an income FAST. Her twin brothers are committing to a prestigious academic program overseas, and her current financial situation is not exactly compatible with the price tag of that program. Cue Erasmus Cress -- champion of boxing, single dad of Sebastian, and stealer of Libby's Os. Their mysterious disappearance -- thanks to Mr. Cress -- has left Libby's chakras misaligned and her world upside-down. She is desperate to get her bearing back, but it doesn't help that Mr. Cress is now her employer as she's being hired to be Sebastian's nanny.

This book was a hoot. Krista Sandor's humor always hits the mark and brings with it a certain engaging charm. Libby's erratic personality creates a great balance with Erasmus' tempered and almost stoic one. I love their engagement with little Sebastian, and their chemistry is adorable and sizzling.

I love the underlying theme that tackles loss and grief, and Sandor does a great job of bringing it to light without taking away from the rom-com vibe.

This knockout packs quite the punch! I've loved watching all of the characters grow throughout each book in this series, but this one took my heart for quite the ride.

I honestly wasn't sure how I'd feel with Libby and her aura-reading spirituality, but she won me over almost immediately with her spunk, honesty and wit. Especially anytime she's in a scene with seven year old Sebastian, my ovaries cried.

The main characters create so much heat, I'm surprised my Kindle didn't burst into flames. Each of the kids are unfiltered and adorable on their own, but put the trio together and it's a trifecta that will make you smile for days.

Here's a few reasons to grab this on Kindle Unlimited asap:

**Donkey racing
**Yoga punching
**Widowed boxer
**Witty banter
**Flying "massagers"
**Great chemistry

Great Book

This is the 3rd book in the series but I’m a little annoyed I have to wait until July ‘22 for book four.
Libby & Raz are brilliant together even though the Beefcake is the one who threw off her chi & O 🤣
There is an incident outside the gym with 16 vibrators Raz & Libby and it’s a hoot.
Then add a gorgeous Sebastian in to the mix and Libby finds herself his nanny and falling in love with both Cress men.
I absolutely adore the kids in this series and we get to hear from them for a lot of the book which I love about this series.
The kids are so funny with what comes out their mouths and there are some lol moments and I do love how all the characters are firm friends.

This book is a laugh out loud crazy adventure. These too Libby Lamb and Erasmus Cross came together in a cosmic explosion of laughter and fan yourself moments. I wasn’t sure what to expect when Krista Sandor’s combined a yoga instructor with a boxer but what we have is rom-com gold. In true Krista Sandor style I laughed out loud and yelled at the characters while devouring this read. Then you throw in great banter and an Sebastian Erasmus adorable son to this story and you get another great rom-com and love story.

A yoga instructor and boxer work together to balance each other’s chi? Yes, please. The book was good and the series was easy to jump into the middle of, but this one could’ve been about 50% shorter. There were a lot of repetitive details that weren’t necessary—I didn’t pick up this book to keep track of all the side characters and their lives. I liked how campy and ridiculous the FMC was throughout the whole thing.

Could you imagine getting arrested for tossing vibrators at a beefcake? That's exactly what happens to Libby n Raz. In comes Madelyn, the nanny matcher. Raz has a son who he doesn't spend time win.hw us too vuzy trying to come vacation to fighting.
Raz and Libby prepare for the A$$ -in - nine race in Rickety Rock. There are signs all around them, aura, crows butterflies they should be together.
This book has all the feels.

Madelyn the Nanny Matchmaker is at it again, this time doing her magic with a boxer and a free spirit.
Erasmus Cross needs to train for his upcoming boxing match and needs a Nanny for his young, lively son.
Libby Lamb, down-on-her-luck yoga instructor, needs a job. Enter Madelyn the matchmaker.
Libby also has a problem. She lost her O. Yes, the Big O. Can Eramus help her out in that area? Sparks will fly and Os will be found.
Installment 3 of the Nanny Series doesn't disappoint. This book is a fun ride.

I really enjoyed this series so far. I love the depth the writer goes into, especially with animals. She also includes kids as part of the love stories and the truth is, there are a lot of great step moms and stepdads out there. Guardians and aunts and uncles. All love deserves celebration.

Erasmus is fighter and a single father. He is training for a fight and needs a nanny to help him out, he also needs help balancing his life in general. Libby is a yoga instructor who has a lot on her plate. Her father is a hot mess and she has taken responsibility for putting brothers through medical school. Erasmus and Libby have amazing chemistry but horrible communication skills and just can’t figure each other out. This was a cute entertaining read with a lot going on. A few laugh out loud moments, some MIA donkeys and let’s not forget about the adult toys. Can’t wait to see what is next in this fun series.

To say that I stayed up past my bedtime to finish this book would be an understatement. It is currently 2:20 am and I could not put this book down. While I loved the first two books I grew emotionally attached to both Libby and Sebastian. In so many ways they were relatable to me. These are probably going to be the characters that stick with me the most. Sandor has a wonderful way of making the reader feel all of the emotions in her novels. I read this book in practically one sitting and I will probably do the same with the next and final book. My obsession for this series and this author continues!

'A hilarious, adult-joke filled read full of innuendos, euphemisms and all the good--or rather, hot--stuff in between! A wonderful introduction into Krista Sandor!'

Thank you to Grey's Promotions for sending me an ebook Advanced Readers Copy for me to read and review. This is my honest, spoiler-free review of The Nanny and the Beefcake by Krista Sandor.

---------------------------------------------

I love a good single parent romance, and a romance with a 'forbidden' nanny just screamed at me to pick up and read! Especially from an author I have yet to read and invest in. Krista Sandor immediately made The Nanny and the Beefcake appealing by two things. First and probably the most obvious, the book cover. That is a beefcake right there! Second, the blurb. Need I say more? Give it a read yourselves!

This was my first time reading a Krista Sandor novel, and indeed a first read of her Nanny Love Match series. Praise must be given for a standalone within an interconnected series that was easy to read and pick up in terms of the characters and more specifically, who was who and who was connected to who. There were a lot of characters in this novel--sometimes doubling up in the twin category--, so it was nice of Krista to just leave a little reminder of who was who, and who did what. There was no sense of feeling overwhelmed diving this far, this late into a series, now it was time to get down and literally dirty with the nitty gritty and the main characters of this novel. Erasmus and Libby, aka Beefcake and Plum.

What a pair of main characters! As I said above, I was drawn to this read for one of two reasons, and one of those reasons was the blurb. Why? The Beefcake, aka Erasmus 'Raz' Cress, is British! Not one for the real deal, I cannot resist a fictional British man, and there was something alluring about The British Beast (his boxing name), that called me to give him--and Libby--a chance before I even turned the first page. I knew he was going to be better than good, and I was right! That man and pun fully intended here, packed one hell of a literary punch!

Oh don't get me wrong, there were many a time I wanted to climb through the pages and knock Raz upside his own head, but seeing the beefcake slowly turn into the man we see nearer the end, thanks to the unique ways of Libby Lamb and her chi, chakras and all that accompanies her as a person, was quite something! Sometimes, several times 'something', if you catch my drift. Looks like the Beast knows how to knock out a few outside of the ring as well as in, oh my!

The story itself, is one of a great journey. We as readers quite literally go along for the ride with Raz, Libby and the gang as we watch Raz and Libby navigate through battles and obstacles both physical, mental and emotional. Krista skilfully wrote all three into the story brilliantly, weaving them into each character while seeing the two navigate each other's battles together. Their story and journey was emotionally tough and touching at times, but it was worth trudging through what weighed them down to see what set them free later on in the book. I was truly invested in this story and every step of the way, was crossing my fingers for that sweet Happily Ever After.

My only criticism, which really isn't a negative at all but more of a wish, is that there was more to the ending than where we were left. By no means was it off-putting or unsatisfactory, as it was a sweet ending, but I'm a sucker for that little bit more to have happen. Just a little extra slice to the story that would make me wish there was another book or at least a novella of these two. Still, what I had been crossing my fingers for actually happened so...I'm a happy reader.

Eagerly awaiting book four in this series but until then, here are 4.5 happy and satisfied stars for The Nanny and the Beefcake, and Krista Sandor.

Hilarious LOL RomCom! Great Story & Narration🎧

The Nanny and the Beefcake
Nanny Love Match, Book 3
By: Krista Sandor
Narrated by: Monica King, Thomas Costen

This hilarious, laugh out loud, romantic comedy should come with a warning label to be aware of spontaneous outbursts of laughter, so eat and drink with caution or risk the chance of making a mess. Krista Sandor is a gifted author, I enjoy her writing style and way with words, her witty dialogue and humor are fantastic, so are her comedic timing and over the top shenanigans. This third book of the series is Erasmus “Raz” Cress and Libby Lamb’s story, Erasmus, a British boxing champion and Libby is a yoga instructor who teaches classes next to the gym he is training in. Libby was not happy with Erasmus, he is arrogant and has a bad aura surrounding him and that aura came her way and she blames him for losing her ability to O, no matter what or who she did. He has no idea about any of this, and when everything in her life could go wrong does, she takes her anger out on him, causing a scene, a hilarious scene, that winds up going viral. He was a good sport about it, but it still got them in trouble and they’d receive a slap on the wrist as long as they do some community service, a service that includes two burros named Beefcake and Plum, LOL. And in true Nanny Love Match fashion, Madelyn Malone found the perfect nanny match for Erasmus’s son Sebastian, and it was Libby. Erasmus lost the love of his life, Meredith, Sebastian’s mom, and his heart is closed for love, but he feels something for Libby and it is hard for him to deal with that. Libby is great with and for Sebastian, who is absolutely adorable, and he makes friends quickly with Phoebe and Oscar. This entertaining and wonderfully plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, humor, heartfelt emotions, some heartwarming moments and a fabulous romance. Krista Sandor, thank you for another amazing story, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Monica King continues to do an amazing job bringing the characters to life, and joining her for this third book is Thomas Costen, who was just as amazing. Their voices and performances complemented each other, and they made a great narration team. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, giving each a voice that fit that character perfectly and was believable in every role they played. Costen’s Erasmus was spot-on, British accent and all, grasping every side of his personality, from his grumpiness to his caring side. King continues to master the roles of these characters and nails it as Libby, grasping all her yoga-centricities and quirkiness. Both were just as fabulous performing the roles of the secondary characters, too, children included. They set the perfect tone for the story, handled the witty dialogue with ease and landed the humor effortlessly. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this amazing listen.

Title: The Nanny and the Beefcake (Nanny Love Match Series Book 3)
Author: Krista Sandor
Hero/Heroine: Raz & Libby
Trope: Single Father/Enemies to Lovers Romance

THE GOOD 😀

Continuing on with the Nanny Love Match Series, The Nanny and the Beefcake was the quirkiest story I’ve read in a while. Centred around yoga teacher Libby and British boxer Raz, this book had beauty, brains and brawn by the bucket load (that was a lot of b words, the alliteration was wholly unintentional).
Our super spiritual heroine Libby is having the most craptastic time of it; a failed business venture, newly evicted and an O that remains MIA, she is at breaking point, and she knows exactly who’s to blame. When she and Raz end up getting arrested after a very… interesting yoga session outside his gym, things get even more crazy.
Having being introduced to both Raz and Libby in previous books, we finally get to see what made these two characters tick. You’d be mistaken in thinking that Raz was just a beefcake that used his fists to talk, however he had a lot more depth. Still reeling from the death of his wife, he was taking part in his next fight as a way to prove he could still be a winner and honour his late wife’s memory.
I loved both Raz and Libby’s caring nature and their need to look after their loved ones; Raz with his twin sisters and Libby with her twin brothers. Both so used to being the caregiver and provider, they found in each other a kindred spirit… and some pretty interesting ways of bringing back Libby’s missing O.
The characters and storyline in this book were so whacky but in the best way. From indigo coloured auras, racing with donkeys and rage yoga that included launching sixteen vibrators at Raz’s head, this was one hell of an enjoyable read. I cannot wait to see where the author takes the next book in the series.

THE BAD ☹️

It was only a small thing, but I would’ve liked to have seen more around Raz rebuilding his relationship with his son. This part felt a bit rushed for me, but it didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the book.

Thank you to the author and @greyspromo for providing me with a copy of this for me to read. This is my honest review.

OVERALL THOUGHTS: A quirky yet funny read with some wonderfully whacky characters

Madelyn Malone is back at facilitating another nanny for one of our guys and that is Erasmus Cress. Erasmus The Lion Cress aka Raz is a champion boxer who will showboat for the cameras and comes off as a cocky beefcake, yet the more we read them more we see how badly he is struggling with so much. He questions if he should even keep boxing yet he can’t stop because he feels indebted to his deceased wife to fight. He also is questioning how to be the best father he should but he can’t seem to connect with his son and it hurts both of them, he just don’t know how to stop. My heart hurt for him because his pain felt so real and he lost so much that he didn’t think he would ever recover or be the man he use to be, that is until Libby Lamb. Libby Lamb is an eccentric yoga instructor to is to only having a bad day but she has lost her O and her chi is way out of alignment, the only person to blame is Raz. When these two collide there is a magnetic pull that brings the best and worst out in them but they can’t deny the huge attraction they have. When Madelyn names Libby as Raz’s new nanny and spiritual guide because of their incident in public things start to change for them. Libby sees that the beefcake attitude razz hides behind is just a facade because he doesn’t know how to deal with the immense guilt and feelings he carries. Raz’s son, Sebastian, is the most adorable sweet kid that is just like his father and the bond that Libby and he form is unbreakable if only they could Raz on board. With so much that happens like runaway donkey’s, viral videos, and a chemistry too intense will they two survive all the crazy antics that occur or will they go back to their regular ways when it is all said and done? I don’t want to give too much away because there are quite a few funny antics that happen, the emotions are high with both their pasts haunting them, and both are trying to find their way I don’t want to spoil any of it. At times I did agree with Raz about Libby must be off her rocker because she had moments that she could really ramble and spew so much yoga information she seemed daft, but these two are complete opposites in every way but their souls fit perfectly. The ending with Landon and Harper has me beyond excited for what’s to come.

The Nanny and the Beefcake (Nanny Love Match Book 3)
Krista Sandor

It's no secret that I am a big fan of this author and I have loved every book of hers that I have read. This series is awesome, and each book gets better and better. I love that we get to revisit the characters in the earlier books in each one. It is so nice to see how some of your favorites are doing. This one is about Erasmus "Raz" Cress and Libby Lamb, and I can not forget sweet Sebastian. It begins with Libby having been stolen of her chi and her O - yes that O. She blames it all on Raz who is a well-known boxer. Libby has a really bad day, and they meet again, and she takes out some of the day on Raz, and all kinds of craziness ensues. Next thing you know, these two are working together all the time and everyone knows them due to a video going viral. She is is son's nanny, his yoga and spiritual adviser, and he is known as the "beefcake". Next up, they have to do penance and run a race with donkey's. They are paired with Plum and Beefcake, and that is so funny since that has more meaning to them than most realize. Libby works miracles with Raz and Sebastian and on the fly comes up with Punchi-Yoga. There are so many great moments in this book, and phrases. I love Mibby and Sebastian who flourishes since his time in the states. Noisy Yoga, the crows, Plum and Beefcake, the fart stories, and the crystals. Granny Finn, Ida, Bob, Maud and of course all of the crew from the earlier books. Do yourself a favor, pick up this series of books and start with Nanny and the Nerd. You could read them out of order, but I think you will get more if you read them in order. Looking forward to the next one, which I'm sure will become my next favorite by this author. I also have a strong urge to take some yoga classes and learn more about crystals. Thank you so much for another awesome book, Krista Sandor. I don't know how you manage to make me laugh and fall in love with each book, but you do.The Nanny and the Beefcake

Hilarious, irreverent, and sexy, this book is a must read. You’ll fall in love with the characters and laugh until your sides hurt with this one.

This book starts out with our yoga instructor heroine, Libby, having had her chi disrupted and her O stolen by hulk of a British boxer Erasmus, or Raz, who trains next door to the yoga studio she works at. Nothing has been going right for weeks since she first confronted her gym neighbor, and it eventually results in a comically amazing outburst that leads to the pair being forced into each other’s lives by both that situation and the woman tasked with finding Raz a nanny for his son, Sebastian. The two get more than they originally bargained for having been paired together, and we get to see how these two seemingly opposite characters develop a relationship that neither of them had at first counted on.

This book is comedic gold. I literally laughed out loud on so many occasions. The interactions between Raz and Libby are hysterical, and their characters played off of one another so well. The sense that these two are cosmically paired is so strong, and that plays out in the story in such a way that their chemistry is palpable.

Something else I loved about this book is that it’s so well rounded. That may sound like an odd description, but I think you’ll understand after you read it. There are so many pieces to Raz and Libby’s story, but they’re all necessary to the main characters and the plotline. None of it feels out of place, and the way Sandor achieves the final product is wonderful. This book really does go full circle, and I loved not feeling like anything was too much or not enough. The title might suggest silliness, and there is plenty of that, but really it’s a well thought out tale of two characters coming together at a time in their lives when they need the other but don’t even know it or understand why. Really, I just can’t say enough good things about this book.

The Nanny and the Beefcake is absolutely one of the best books I’ve read so far this year and certainly the funniest. If you love a well done romcom that’s way more than just a funny romance, this book is for you.

OVERALL RATING – 5

RECOMMENDED FOR: lovers of: humor / independent but quirky Heroine / slightly insecure Hero Dad due to tragedy with adorable boy / animals supporting the story / ‘made’ families mixed with biological families

First my usual points:
- I do not do spoilers unless warned.
- Read the summary above; it will tell you what the book is about. I will not reiterate.
- This is a standalone but part of a series; Best enjoyed read in order
- No errors that I caught as far as editing.
- The author was not new to me

BOOK:
- Cover adequately reflects the story:
- Genre/troupe: contemporary romance
- 3rd person, alternating POV
- Other characters from series make appearances to move the story along
- Main characters’ story is concluded

Star Ratings - 1 (poor) - 5(READ THIS BOOK)
• Writing Quality: 5 stars
• Story ingredient: 5 stars
• Ease of reading/Pace: 5 stars
• Plot strength: 5 stars
• Steam Level 4 and high on romance; there are open door scenes

Notes/Opinion (personal):

I enjoyed the story and the humor- that first scene with them was hysterical; I haven't laughed like that in a long time. Raz and Libby are a riot and throw in a little boy without a filter and the laughs keep coming. This author portrayal of the kids in each book is spot-on with their ages and actions. Even though this is a standalone in the series, this story flows well from the prior two books in the series (all of which I recommend;) however, I believe Rowan is still my favorite.

I did struggle a bit with this book simply due to my personal beliefs conflicting with the beliefs of the main female character. Yes, I understand this is fiction and I read for escape and relaxation.
However, that said, these aspects seem to play a part between the main characters that I was not totally comfortable with and did help to build the female main character.

This personal aspect aside, I do recommend the series, they are highly enjoyable and each character’s HEA is greatly earned.

The Nanny and The Beefcake is the third book in the Nanny Love Match series by Krista Sandor. While this book can be enjoyed as a standalone in this interconnected series I really do suggest reading the other two books first.

This book features the next of the single dad group- Erasmus (Raz) Cress, the british boxer who is training for his comeback fight while avoiding all attachments including his 6 year old son, Sebastian. Raz is paired with his polar opposite, the zen yoga instructor Libby Lamb, only she isn't quite as zen as she used to be. Ever since her first encounter with the noisy beefcake aka Raz, Libby's chi has been all out of whack and she lost her O- and that's just the beginning.

Raz and Libby's story, just like the other books in the series, is a lot of fun. It's quirky and kind of crazy but still sweet and emotional. Libby is a bit of an eccentric character while sweet and caring- though she definitely has some manic moments that just add to the comedic element of the story. Raz appears to be cocky and all ego but as the story progresses we get to see beyond the mask he puts on all the way to his squishy insides that mingle with his protective streak. I feel like Raz was a bit more of a complicated hero as compared to Rowan and Mitch, especially when it came to his relationship with his son, Sebastian, who was an adorable miniature version of his dad.

To be honest, this was not my favorite in this series so I struggled a bit with how to rate it. It has all the right qualities- it's funny and sweet, it has an emotional element and it definitely packs a punch with some heat. I just did not quite connect with Raz and Libby all that much for some reason. So while I still enjoy the love journey for Raz and Libby, they fell a little short for me. I liked the silly moments when all of the other characters were involved a little more- especially when all the kids were together.

I'm really interested to see how Landon's story will play out in the The Nanny and The Heartthrob- especially with the little teaser in the epilogue!

I can just describe this book in two words:" TOTALLY AMAZING"

Krista is one of my to go authors for a reason, and the reason is that every story that she writes just captivates me. I can read her stories and never get tired.

The Nanny and the Beefcake is the third book in the "Nanny Love Match Series" and it can be read as a standalone but I do recommend to read the whole series because each story is extremely unique and fun to read but also because you get to met all the wonderful characters in the series.

This is Raz (boxing champion) and Libby's (yoga instructor) story and it's like no other out there. The cosmic universe has brought this couple together with a little help of matchmaker Madelyn Malone, that once again has found the perfect nanny match for Raz's son Sebastian.

What does this yoga instructor and boxing champion have in common ? only one thing and that is none of them want a romantic relationship , a lust relationship perhaps but not a love one. So when this couple are force under one roof, working together on a donkey race competition and a boxing championship match things get out of control in the best way ever.

Raz and Libby are imperfectly perfect for each other and you don't want to miss reading this story.

This is a beefy book, and wouldn’t you expect anything less from the beefcake? This entire series to this point has been one over the top chaotic happiness after the other. One thing that I adore about this series is the friendship between the heroine and her 3 best friends. You meet them in book one, and they are ride or die, without fail. These 4 have been through a lot together, and they are truly friends for life. The 4 heroes on this series, have a more frenemies-esque relationship, but as the series progresses, so do that relationship.

Libby and Erasmus “Raz” Cress have had a run in, and according to Libby he has affected her life. He unsettled her Chi and took her “O”. So, she is clearly not thinking everything move through, when she confronts him. I adored Libby and the fact that she embraced her quirks and had ZERO issues in being herself. She had a lot of heart but wasn’t without emotional upheaval in her life. Raz as well had emotional upheaval, but the differences in which they dealt with those is night and day. Your heart will break for his son Sebastian through a lot of this book because of the way in which Erasmus has dealt with being a single dad.

The kids are such an amazing part of this series, and they are hilarious and perfect every time they are on the page. Madelyn Malone is on to something with her matches, and I have theories of who she is, and can’t wait to see if I am right. This is lengthy but well written addition to the Nanny Love Match series, and I am excited to see where Krista Sandor takes us next.

Enjoyed Raz & Libby's story! I was either laughing or crying while reading their story! It was beautifully written and heartfelt! The chemistry was off the charts with these two. As different as these two are, they totally worked! Loved every page!
