Sorry for the slight delay in kicking off this month's finale to The E•MO•TION Minute 2019; Chris moved into a new place and is meticulously setting up his sound system to get the exact correct amount of CRJ Vibes because, for this episode, we had to listen to "Tug of War," the pretty awful title track off of her debut album. What happens when an artist who hasn't yet found her sound drifts out of her vocal range in the chorus that follows lyrics that fail in their attempt to be clever? It's a bad song, folks, but it's a song that hints at the pop music Charizard she would eventually evolve into. It's not pop, it's not lattegaze, so who is this song even for? The answer is definitely not us. Also: welcome Feminist Icon Mrs. Bucket to the show!

"Love the 90s? Me too!" -Everyone
If you are into 90s nostalgia (and who isn't these days?), you'll love this! Every episode takes you back to some terrible middle school memories in a way that is less mentally taxing than attending one of those ubiquitous 90s nostalgia summer tours that Smashmouth or Sugar Ray headline!
There's nothing like it out there
Listen, while I don't like the very last thing on the thing that they do on the second episode, it's actually a really good podcast and is actually a good look back one what pop was like over the past 60 comp albums that have been releaed. I laugh a lot and also what to get invovled in arguments with host Chris and his guests. Overall it's a very solid podcast. If you like pop music, I strongly suggest that you listen this and see what songs you remember.
