About our Meetups and Format

These meetings are for active and passive investors. These meetings are also for novice and the experienced investors.

Opportunities may also present itself where the participants will be able to work on deals together should they so choose. Specifically, join forces and raise money for and manage deals through their full lifecycle.

We meet the second Monday of each month, and you will receive information about upcoming meetings and a weekly email with tips and news about apartment and hotel investing to include capital raising weekly once you register for the meetings.

No need to register separately for each meeting.  Once you register, your zoom link will be good for all meetings. We will resend out your zoom meeting access link prior to our meetings in case you may have misplaced it.



The standard agenda for these meetings is as follows:

1) Introductions
2) Apartment and Hotel Investing Speaker/Capital Raising Speaker. Questions & Answers.
3) Networking

For the networking portion of the meeting, we will create break out rooms for networking among the meeting participants and with the speaker.

Speaker Bio

I started my career as an aerospace engineer.  I worked for
Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (SDRC), a Computer Aided Design (CAD) company, out of college.  During my time at the SDRC, I was in a sales role, lead application engineer, customer service engineer, and project manager.    In specific, I was commended by Xerox for helping them develop work processes with the CAD system to help them meet their goal of delivering new and innovative products. I was part of the pilot team and helped win this account by my efforts.  At the time of Xerox signing on to use our CAD system, it was the second largest account for SDRC.

From there, I moved into software development as a project manager for Booz Allen Hamilton, Spaceworks, and Digital Harbor.  At Booz AlIen Hamilton, I managed software development projects both large and small and also worked on consulting engagements.  These roles allowed me to use my ability to develop strategy and implement the tactical aspects of the projects. During my time at Booz Allen Hamilton, I received my MBA.  The purpose of getting the MBA was to round out my skill set.

My real estate experience came after my father's passing.  I was left to run a 4-lot mobile home park and a single-family home rental.  My goal is to take the experience I have gained and continue to invest in multifamily and hotels.

One team I am a part of closed on a 65-unit apartment complex in Charlotte, NC.  I am on this deal as a General Partner (GP) and a Limited Partner (LP). This deal was closed on August 10, 2023, and I am also a part of the asset management team.

I am currently looking for funding resources and capital raising for a ground up hotel/condo development in Sarasota, Florida.
