Please keep the following guidelines in mind to promote diversity, inclusion, and help keep our in person and online spaces welcoming, supportive, and safer environments for all.  Be respectful of people’s physical space, their emotional and mental boundaries.  Be respectful of differing opinions, points of view, states of being, heritages, and beliefs. Get verbal permission before crossing any boundaries, such as touching or taking photographs of people or sharing exhibitors’ work.  Be aware of and take responsibility for how your words or actions may affect others, despite your intentions.  No weapons.  No racism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, ableism, sexism, body-shaming, religion-shaming, etc.  Harassment, violence, abuse, discrimination or disruptive behaviors will not be tolerated.  Organizers reserve the right to remove any group from our event.  Exhibitors and participates agree not to hold organizers or staff responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.  We will be moderating shared online spaces to the best of our ability.  If any attendees or exhibitors feel unsafe, please contact organizers Jennifer or Kelsey ASAP, so we may address your concerns.  Feel free to contact us with any feedback or suggestions regarding our policy. As we would like to market ourselves as a Family-Friendly event, please consider labeling or marking your work accordingly.  Please be aware of possibly triggering or adult content.  We will have an area below where you can let us know if your work contains any nudity, profanity, or graphic violence, so we may label these.

This form will be open from September 10, 2021 and closes October 20, 2021 when we should have received your zines by + Participation fees are due.  Filling out this form will help us organize everyone's mailing info and help us promote you online too (if you would like).  Organizers are the only ones who see your personal info and it will only be used to contact you in regards to Pikes Peak Zine Fest and the Zine Swap.  Zines should easily fit in and be sent in at least a 9" x 12" sized envelope (we will be trying to re-use original packaging), with up to 10 zines max.  Please be aware that the zines you may receive in return could be larger, smaller, or thicker than the ones you sent and will be chosen randomly.  We also try to package zines with padding in a way that will preserve them to the best of our ability, so extra room in your package would always be helpful.  You will receive the same quantity of zines you send (if you send us 5, you will get 5 in return).  You may send us zines made by you or zines from your collection.  Please try to make sure the creator's information/name is on the zine somewhere so they can be credited.  Zinesters from any area can apply!  Just know that international shipping can be a little unreliable and we are using the U.S. Postal Service (we will at least make sure it has tracking, but whether the USPS updates the tracking or not is another thing, unfortunately).  You should hopefully receive your Zine Swap package in November if timing runs ok for us.  You will receive a tracking info email from us when  your package has been packed and is ready to be sent out.  The quality of work we received last year was top notch!  No worries if you've only made 1 zine so far; we want to make sure that any level of zinester feels welcome to share their work with us and others.  :)  Please note that there are only two of us (Jennifer + Kelsey) organizing the swap and other PPZF events, so we truly appreciate your patience.

Please pay your Zine Swap Participation Fee ($5) by October 20, 2021 via PayPal (pikespeakzinefest@gmail.com) using the Friend option, otherwise we'll be charged extra.  Leave us a note or contact us if you need to arrange other payment options.   All fees go towards helping cover the cost of return shipping with the remaining cost being covered by the Organizers and our sponsors.

Along with our Exhibitors, we would like to showcase or promote Zine Swap participants' work on our website and on social media.  Please mark below if you give PPZF Organizers permission to pull images from your social media or your example links for this use.
