Katy & Warren were impossible not to love!!
Warren is taking a much-needed vacation from his work in Texas and flying to California to see his brother. When he arrives in Cali, he is shocked to learn that his brother set him up for Single's Week. It is a way for Warren to get out of his head and enjoy his vacation but never expected to run into his sister-in-law's best friend, Katy.
Katy is all about the job and she loves her work, so it is no loss for her but when Babs her best friend convinces her to go to one night of Single's Week she is not entirely thrilled. When she comes across Warren he is just as she remembers but somehow more.
As Katy & Warren explore their week together of fun, passion and heat both realize that they don't want this week to end up how can this relationship work when they live halfway across the country from one another?
Xavier Neal wrote the perfect novella. It had a little bit of everything and my only real compliant is I wanted more of their story but that does not mean that the story was lacking. It was just as it was meant to be, and I was happy to be here for Katy & Warren's HEA!!

First I want to say when I realized who this book was about I was so excited he was getting his story! Now on to the review. This book although short was absolutely perfect! A vacation fling turning more when they meet by chance. The characters are fantastic and balance each other in the most perfect way! Absolutely loved this book!

Loved Loved Loved! I loved Warren's story and am so happy that he got one. He was absolutely adorable and I loved Katy for him. If I have said it once I will say it again Xavier Neal is a fantastic storyteller.

This delightfully fun read is the perfect way to get plenty of feels, laughter and swoon. I found Warren and Katy impossible not to love. Both characters were relatable and quirky. Together they make a very cute pair. The attraction is obvious and the sparks steamy. I know a lot of times people are turned off by quick reads because they either come across as way over-the-top or have no true story to tell BUT that is absolutely not the case here. There is a strong storyline here that is well written and engaging. It has its foot firmly based in reality and while swift, it makes perfect sense. Lots of emotion, humor, sweetness, drama and heart are amply seasoned with snarky banter and sprinkles of nerdiness to create a wonderful treat for any romance lover. Of my own accord I am posting an objective review.

What a fun, quick read. Warren and Katy get reacquainted while he's visiting his brother. They are total opposites, forcing one another out of their comfort zones.. I enjoyed their story.

Picnic Perfect is a cute and sweet novella with also a sprinkle of hotness that had me smiling and swooning so much! It's mostly light hearted and exactly what I needed in my life; I really enjoyed it.
I love Warren and Katy together, they might be complete opposites but connect in a special way and are definitely the ones for each other. I love how he keeps stumbling on his words around her, it's so adorable!
And I love that they knew each other from before and then unexpectedly connect again. Warren and Katy really have an instant chemistry and I love it. It's not forced between them and although it happened a little fast, it felt just so so natural with those two!
I've read one book by Xavier Neal before and I love the humor in this one too. This is such a fun story and I had a blast. This book just gave me the best happy vibes!

Picnic perfect is short, quick, sweet romantic comedy set the the Kismet Cove Single’s Week world. Katy and Warren are complete opposites, but after reuniting again at a forced single’s event their attraction is instant. This was such a cute meet or should I say re-meet. Warren was so adorably awkward tripping over his words when Katy starts talking to him. I loved that Katy was confident and witty and always pushed him to do something out of his comfort zone. Warren was a nerdish heartthrob, who loved making Katy laugh and feel care free. They were the perfect match! This story was a sexy instant attraction, opposites attract, small town romantic comedy that will make you laugh, feel giddy and warm inside. I enjoyed this story from beginning to end. Loved the quirky, charming side characters who pushed Warren and Katy together.

What can I say... I LOVED this book!!. Ugh.. It just left you wanting more of these two!!
Warren is a doctor and spends most of his time working or hanging out with friends and family. He is the ultimate perfect guy who just wants to find his perfect someone to spend his life with and enjoy.
Katy..I loved her. Right from the begging she was making me laugh. I loved her character. She is also a workaholic like Warren but she she knows how to live in the moment. She teaches Warren to just let it be and enjoy.. Loved that!!
The chemistry between these two was amazing!! All the feels!! The banter between these two made me laugh.
Overall this was a fantastic read. I cant wait for more from this author.

Yes WARREN!!! I’ve been waiting to see how his life went!!! I love this authors work so much and can’t get enough!! After each one I can’t wait until the next!!
Warren! I really really loved him in the previous book (The Gamble) I was hooked on him from what little I saw of him. He reminded me of the nice guy not getting the girl. But in a way that was perfect for him because the banter between him and Katy is just off the charts intoxicating to watch. They make me swoon while bickering at each other!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Katy’s profession and how she is just genuinely an amazing person!! Only time could tell if things would be different living in two different states.
I loved how much he became so much more than I expected!! I couldn’t help but love him with each little detail I got!! I’m so excited to see where this amazing author takes us next!! I feel like I’m on the best journey of my life through all her books!

I absolutely enjoy Xavier Neal’s writing and this story was no exception. Picnic Perfect is one of 11 books in the Kismet Cove series. This is the story of Warren and Katy…two opposites that attract. They’re thrown together thanks to a meddling best friend and brother. What started out as a possible vacation fling turns into something more. I loved getting to see Katy unravel Warren in the best ways possible. His carefully planned, plotted, and scheduled world is thrown out the window and he realizes that this is how life should be lived. But can they have the conversation about what happens when his vacation is over? You’ll just have to read to find out! A quick and easy read written by the incredibly talented Xavier Neal.

Katy and Warren were just perfect. He’s awkward, she’s confident in her awkwardness. He’s up for some adventure, she’s willing to have one with him. And if they fall in love along the way, even better.
I liked how Warren fumbled, honestly. He felt more human and less…book boyfriend that way. He was charming, even when he couldn’t make his mind and mouth connect and sputtered out things that could get him into trouble. And he was honest to a fault. And he figured out exactly what to say and do when it counted. Why wouldn’t Katy fall for him?
And since Katy was so everything, why wouldn’t Warren fall for her? She was kind, and smart, and daring, and funny, and exactly what he needed. Warren needed to let go a little and find better ways to control aspects of his life, and Katy had tons of experience in managing personalities and in helping others to feel comfort in their own skin.
These two gave a great tale of acquaintances to friends to lovers to everything, in a short, easy to read in an afternoon package. And really, who doesn’t love something spicy and sweet like that?

Overall this book waste no time throwing our main characters into an amazing and free spirited romance. Each person complimenting each other beautifully. A short, yet steady paced read, this book is sure to provide you with wonderful entertainment. Would love to read more by this author.

Picnic Perfect is my introduction to the author’s work and I honestly don’t know why I haven’t read her before if this is the sort of books she writes.
This story was downright wonderful. It made me smile. It made me laugh and experience so many feels. A rather quick read but it packs a romantic punch! I wholeheartedly loved the way this book went and the feel it gave me, like the characters were talking directly to me. It was a unique read with characters I genuinely liked.
Warren and his penchant for books, his funny rambling moments and Katy with her heart of gold. Loved it!

Warren is a sweet, over-analyzer that finally decides to throw caution to the wind and enjoy his vacation with Katy.
Katy is a lovely, fun and confident woman who finally feels like she has life figured out. She wouldn’t mind having a partner to share it all with.
Super cute story. Loved that they already had a little bit of history and that they do such fun things together. The chemistry is undeniable. Ends with a HEA and an epilogue.

This was a super fun, super quick , super cute read with the kind of humour I've come to expect from this author. Little bit of a second chance/reconnecting thing going on here since Katy and Warren first met at a wedding while Warren is visiting his brother, yet not knowing both have been signed up for a single's event. There's a lot of fun adventures and stepping out of comfort zones. I thoroughly enjoyed this. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own.

The two main characters, Warner and Katy, got enrolled into Single Week without their consent. It was all a setup to get the two single workaholics to have fun. They met each other before and the same people who got them to meet each other have set them up.
After losing a bet to Katy, Warner agrees to go on an adventure. When it turns into a date and the two of them get closer, the chemistry between them intensity.
They only have a week. Will their adventure and love survive after the seven days are over? Will this vacation fling turn into something more?
The writing style of this one is different. It’s unique. Xavier Neal captured my attention after I’ve read her book Bulletproof. Even with the different genres, the writing still pulls you in. The characters in this book talk to you, making you a friend and a witness to their story. It’s a quick read that ended too fast. I wish I could read more; it was entertaining, original, and unpredictable.
Two main characters can let go and have fun when they’re with each other. It’s a delightful book you can read any time and it won’t take long for you to finish it.

A love story between Warren and Katy who do find it very hard to find someone who can love them as much as they can love.
Warren is a doctor, he is constantly always working which limits his time to have a love life. Despite him really wanting one, and even having a dating app to find his perfect someone he has no luck. Until his brother sets him up on a Single's week vacation - this much-needed vacation changed his whole life, this is where he connects to Katy.
Just like Warren, Katy is a workaholic. She is such a loveable character, who loves taking risks and does not let the world stop her from doing what she loves. Living in the moment is so her, I loved her character from the very beginning.
This Single's week vacation made her meet Warren again, she pushed Warren to not overthink and to not plan everything but rather live in the moment and make most of what they have. A love story between Warren and Katy who do find it very hard to find someone who can love them as much as they can love.
Warren is a doctor, he is constantly always working which limits his time to have a love life. Despite him really wanting one, and even having a dating app to find his perfect someone he has no luck. Until his brother sets him up on a Single's week vacation - this much-needed vacation changed his whole life, this is where he connects to Katy.
Just like Warren, Katy is a workaholic. She is such a loveable character, who loves taking risks and does not let the world stop her from doing what she loves. Living in the moment is so her, I loved her character from the very beginning.
This Single's week vacation made her meet Warren again, she pushed Warren to not overthink and to not plan everything but rather live in the moment and make most of what they have. Their chemistry was just phenomenal, in the short vacation, they grew so close and realised how perfect they are for each other.
This short novella is just perfect.

A fun quick novella featuring two people who seem like complete opposites but find each other irresistible. Both Warren and Katy have meddling friends and families who see them in a bit of a rut so decide to sign both of them separately to the same singles week event. They are each reluctant to go, but are pretty much forced to. Once they both see each other at the event, Warren immediately feels a spark, but it is Katy who reminds him that they have both met before. And it is from here that the real fun begins. The banter between these two are hilarious, poor Warren, he is a psychologist who should know how to communicate, but Katy and all of her quirky and fun attitude has him seriously tongue tied.
After hitting it off at the event, they decide to have a good time while Warren is in town. We get their individual thought processes so we know they both want more but due to their jobs and living in different states, they can not see a way to obtain that. But with another nudge from family they are able to reach that happily ever after.
Picnic Perfect was such a fun read, Warren and Katy were great characters individually and together. I loved the way Katy was able to pull Warren out of his comfort zone and he genuinely loved it all. Reading their story was a great way to spend an evening.

PICNIC PERFECT by Xavier Neal is a sweet sexy fun novella. Although this story is short and quick, I did not feel I was missing anything. You get a swoony storyline, steamy chemistry, charming characters, all in all, a snarky witty rom com with a feel-good vibe.

Xavier has delivered a sweet heart warming novella. The instant chemistry between Warren and Katy, pulls you into their vacation week of possibilities but what will the future hold for them.
Katy is fun outgoing and likes to live life on the wild spontaneous side and Warren is her pola opposite. Warren likes to have a 40 point plan before he will do anything.
These two are thrown together at a singles date night to appease those closest to them. Neither of them expected an instant connection or that their insecurities wouldn't hold them back. Together they break the mold they have been trapped in and experience an amazing week together pushing boundaries. As the week progresses and infection evolves to something deeper the question is what happens at the end of the week?
This is a brilliant, emotional read that I could puck up time and time again.

I love Warren and Katy. Picnic Perfect is a great opposites attract story that will have you laughing out loud. Warren is far from being a risk taker. He’s an over thinker. That is until he meets Katy, she causes his brain to become more free spirited. Katy is a very compassionate and caring woman. She’s too busy helping others to even think of being in a relationship. Katy and Warren are the perfect unlikely couple. Even though they are opposites, they bring out the best in each other.

I loved this short story. Hilarious, romantic, steamy, a bit insta-love/lust. It had it all!
Warren and Katy met at their friends' wedding but it was only when said friends send them to a Single's Week event that they hit it off. Katy was such a vibrant, sarcastic character... so my type of heroine. But what I loved most was Warren. He's a workaholic, has problems dating and he's insicure and a little bit awkward, but hot all the same. It was different from the typical cocky a-hole and I LOVED IT. Kudos Mrs Neal!

This was a fun, quick novella. The relationship between Warren and Katy developed quickly, but it never felt rushed. I liked that they even questioned it themselves, if it could be true how they felt after such a short time, it was refreshing for a novella! I wasn’t a big fan of the breaking of the fourth wall, it was a bit confusing with them being mixed in with the other internal thoughts. I would have loved it if we got a full novel with them!

This book was so fun! I mean that sincerely because it it made me laugh and I just adored Katy and Warren. There were so real and the internal dialog from the both of them literally had me laughing out loud so many times, I can't even tell you! This was my second read by Xavier Neal and I've loved them both. This was sort of a lighthearted, flirty, and vivacious book. It was a relatively quick read , which was fine though I wish it was longer just to see more Katy and Warren banter. I also really enjoyed seeing Katy get Warren to loosen up a bit and go with the flow. I could totally relate to him in that way! lol Rom-Coms are not normally in my reading wheelhouse, sometimes they can come off as cheesy or TOO light for me, but this definitely left me feeling happy and I really enjoyed it. It is a great end-of-summer read with a guaranteed HEA!

This was a cute story. The title was perfect for this book. It wasn't a picture-perfect setting; it was a picnic-perfect setting. I love how Warren and Katy are confident, successful people, but they are a bumbling mess together. It makes you want to hug them both and tell them that everything will work out because they are meant for each other. Their banter, actions, and sly looks made me fall in love with this story. The meddling of the brother and friend just made this story irresistible. They had Warren and Katy's best interest at heart. It's another excellent hit by Xavier Neal!

A perfectly perfect, quick read, filled with steam and characters I loved! Warren and Katy click immediately and I loved how well their story flowed, how they just... fit. A must!
