The Graduate School Office of Professional Development is pleased to announce the return of Prelim Prep Accountability Group. This group serves as a virtual platform for like-minded graduate students across various disciplines to connect and collaborate as they prepare for their prelims. Throughout the summer, the group will meet online on Zoom for 90-minute sessions every other Wednesday. These sessions will give you structured time to focus on your prelim preparation while also allowing you to interact and network with fellow students. At the beginning of each session, participants will briefly outline their goals for the session, followed by an hour of focused, individual work. Towards the end, students will discuss their progress and set objectives for subsequent sessions. Feel free to attend as many or as few sessions as you prefer. Students who attend four or more sessions will receive an ice cream coupon that entitles them to a single scoop of ice cream at the Daily Scoop located in Memorial Union or Union South.
Do you require any accommodations (such as sign language interpreters, real time captioning, Braille or electronic documents) to participate in this program? Please let us know by emailing gspd@grad.wisc.edu. Requests for accommodations should be made no less than two weeks before the event. We will attempt to fulfill requests made after this date but cannot guarantee they will be met.
