Parent Fall Re Opening Survey
RSU 19 is currently developing reopening plans for school this fall. Your responses will help inform our path forward. Health and safety remain at the forefront. RSU 19 is currently working on a plan that meets CDC, state and federal guidelines, includes risk reducing strategies related to help reduce the potential spread of COVID - 19 while engaging our students at the highest level possible. If schools open to in-person learning, we will require strategies such as maintaining social distance and that students older than age 6 wear face coverings on buses and in school.
Current Options Range from a traditional in-person schedule with increased health strategies, a hybrid of in-person/remote to fully remote learning.
* All students attend in-person 5 days per week, with a remote learning option for students with underlying conditions that increase vulnerability to COVID 19.
* A hybrid model with reduced numbers of students attending at different times to increase the District's ability to maintain social distancing and follow health procedures.
* All students working remotely on core standards 4 days per week.
* Four days a week are indicated in our planning as one day of each week will be to support students and staff in remote learning, support for targeted groups of students in the building and to sanitize the buildings more thoroughly.
