We think it's time you get a new... *ahem*... TRIPOD! At this point, we think it's safe to say that not only does your boyfriend not have the skill and knowledge, but no will or interest to be curious about your passion. It might sound like a red flag on paper, but under the assumption that he takes care of you in every other way, let's remember that our partners aren't there to be our entire world. It's healthy to have friends that you can share hobbies with!If you really want to take photos when you're out with him, we recommend communicating with your partner that you just need 5-minutes of his time to hold the phone for you as you use the front camera with a bluetooth trigger. This way, he can just hold up the phone for you and not think about having to perform and meet IG BF expectations :)Remember, at the end of the day you have all the power to get that photo and you don't have to be dependent on anybody but yourself!

He begrudgingly takes photos for you and it doesn't feel like teamwork. You have to constantly check the photos to keep directing him on how to get the right shot. It seems like he can't tell the difference between a good and bad photo at all. It's all quite frustrating to you and at times it seems like he doesn't even care about you in these situations - we get it. Please know all hope isn't lost! We suggest you to be more patient with him as it's something he doesn't like to do or perhaps isn't even interested in learning about. We also think it's best if you bring the energy and patience and think of it more as you're asking for a quick favor than to expect him to be invested.
