The heroine: Courtney Falcon - she is twenty-three and the lead singer of chart topping, Broken Vixens, and she recently found her best friend/guitarist Roxy in bed with her boyfriend Johnny. Turns out they were sleeping together for a while and doing it in Courtney’s bed and Roxy is pregnant. Courtney is a diva in every sense of the word, though she has been suffering from depression and feelings of self doubt for years. She decides to break up the band and go solo. Courtney was raised by a stage mother and forced at a young age into singing, dancing, acting and beauty pageants. She was on a sitcom for eight seasons while growing up, that was where she met Roxy.
The Hero: Marshall Adams (a.k.a. Ammo) - he is a thirty-seven-year-old rockstar and producer. He is arrogant, cocky and a bit of a jerk. He is a playboy with a famously large package, and he loves his life. When a friend asks him to produce an album, he wants nothing to do with it until he listens to the demo, then he is more than interested. He is surprised to find it is Courtney Falcon on the demo and he wants nothing to do with that train wreck.
The Story: Ammo agrees to produce the record if Courtney promises that there will be no drama, only work. He knows he is not good with relationships and plans to never marry. He is used to women falling at his feet and adoring him, sometimes in groups. So, when Courtney shows up at his house for a meeting and finds him with a bunch of groupies, she is not happy.
I really liked how the two main characters hated each other at the start of the book but were attracted to each other and butted heads non-stop. You could feel the chemistry between Ammo and Courtney and the intimate scenes were sizzling with Ammo being quite dominant in bed. I am a big fan of rockstar romance, usually the Hero is the rockstar and in this one both Hero and heroine were famous, so I liked that this wasn’t just the standard rockstar trope. I also really liked the mystery aspect after Courtney’s stalker is released from prison and things start happening.
I wasn’t too fond of the fact that the Hero smoked cigarettes or the drinking and partying. I mean once in a while is fine, but these people wake up with hangovers a bit too often for my tastes. There are a lot of terrific supporting characters, some good and some bad. The main characters surround themselves with an entourage of people that work for them and clingers. It made for some good storylines and seemed pretty realistic.
This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Corvin King and Angela Rocca. I haven’t heard either of these narrators before. I wasn’t too fond of Angela Rocca, who has a decent voice, but you can certainly tell she is reading, from her pauses. I did like Corvin King’s voice, and he spoke in a good tempo, which sounded more natural than Angela. I certainly wouldn’t mind listening to more books that he narrates.

A deliciously smutty rockstar romance that hit the spot just right.
Courtney Falcon is the lead singer of the famous band, Broken Vixens. Living down the betrayal of her best friend and bandmate sleeping with her boyfriend was one thing. But the latest scandal leaves her spiraling and in need to finally branch out with a solo career.
Marshall “Ammo” Adams is the infamous batboy guitarist of the Stuffed Muffins. He's also the music genius that is Courtney's hope of a successful solo career. There's just one problem, the arrogant womanizer is too good looking for his own good. And he enrages Courtney with his mere presence.
First of all, if you've read Power and Ignite then you will especially appreciate the crossover of a few characters in this book. I for one especially appreciated the closer I didn't know I needed to Power. But I digress.
If you love the enemies to lovers vibe, age gap, and sizzling chemistry, this book will definitely hit the spot. Ammo and Courtney were incendiary together. And I'm nothing if not a fan of hate sex and these two are explosive with this. There's a bit of a suspense layer with Courtney's stalker which added a page turning element. Admittedly I wished we had a bit more character development to Ammo and his appeal was slightly overshadowed with plentiful sex scenes. But at the same time, I read the book in one sitting, so clearly it didn't bother me too much. I just couldn't help but wish I knew more about the enigma that is Ammo.
I loved the two of them together and that ending was perfection. All in all, highly recommend for any rockstar romance fans.

This was just okay. A Rockstar Romance with lots of drama (sometimes unnecessary drama). I felt a little confused since I didn't read the first book in the series.

Ammo can reign over my heart any time! Cassandra Robbins has delivered a heart wrecking, sizzling hot and all consuming rockstar romance in Reign and it's definitely one of my all time favorite reads from her. Ammo is filthy and intense and so sinfully arrogant but he has met his match in Courtney! When a rock God falls for a rock princess who is beautifully broken, magic is created in pages. It was explosive and nuclear hot. It is full of heartbreak and angst. Cassandra Robbins has won my heart and soul again.
Child star turned pop princess Courtney has a reputation to salvage. Scandals are taking over her career. And her manager has a solution. To make Stuffe Muffins' rockstar Ammo to produce her next album. The problem is Ammo thinks she is a spoiled brat and Courtney cannot stand his arrogant ah0le ways. But as they spend time together to create magic through music, they get to know the real person. Courtney has been hurt enough..can she trust the playboy rockstar?
I absolutely love a well written rockstar romance. Like any regular person, I love to feel the excitement of celebrity life and the adrenaline rush of ever changing entertainment industry. Ammo and Courtney both have popularity but Ammo is definitely a bigger star. He has been longer in this business and he has so much talent. And he knows it. He knows he is sexy as hell, he knows he has a dashing c0cky personality and he knows he owns this rock music scene. And Courtney has a hard time seeing his genius beyond his c0cky attitude. To be honest, Ammo infuriated her on purpose. Because he saw the raw talent inside Courtney and he wanted to break her comfortable boundaries to bring out the epic musician. Their scorching hot chemistry didn't hurt either. Omg Cassandra Robbins can bring so much pure filthy sexy perfection in her books!!! Make sure to stay hydrated because this book is hot hot hot. Courtney has such a beautiful tortured heart. She has been betrayed and manipulated and she is almost lonely..Ammo feels that and unexpectedly slowly falls for her. She ignites a deep protectiveness and intense possessiveness in him and he helped to heal her wounds. It was not easy. Hollywood is merciless and ruthless and a lot of people were plotting against them. I was surprised that our playboy admitted his feelings first and it was so swoony...Overall Reign was sinful raw perfection!
Ps I loved all the cameos from my Beloved characters!!!

»It‘s like a car accident, you want to look away but can‘t.« (p.162) that’s exactly how I felt about this book. It‘s been a month since I last opened the ebook but I just wasn‘t in the mood to write a review so I don‘t remember everything. It was sooo bad but somehow addicting. At least at first.
Ammo is a walking red flag, he is a typical rockstar man wh0re and literally s€xually assaults Courtney. But I didn‘t like her either. In fact I got so annoyed with her because she screams like every time she opens her mouth.
On top of that I noticed something regarding the writing style which made me furious because once I saw it I couldn’t unsee it. There were so many sentences with ›as‹ in it it just really bothered me. Here are some examples:
• »Her eyes narrow as I jerk her head back as she whimpers in my mouth.« (p.86)
• »I grab ahold of the staircase, my heart pounding as my stomach flips and dips, making me completely breathless as I watch him smile and light up a cigarette as he nods at something the woman is saying.« (p.142)
• »›I‘m fine‹, I breathe out as I put my hands on Ammo‘s chest as he glares at the man.« (p.178)
• »I swallow, my heart pounding as fear floods me as I reach for him.« (p.181)
It felt like it got worse with every page 🙃 I really don‘t get all these positive reviews. I mean I wanted to like it, the cover lured me in and I’m all for a good age gap romance but not only are the characters unlikeable, the writing style is as well. And the plot was barely there since all they do is fuck. I‘m not a big fan of not finishing a book and usually push to the end but sometimes I just can’t take it anymore and »Reign« is the best example for that 🥲

Ammo is just how I love my rockstars... cocky, possessive and a whole lot nasty. This is is his enemies to quickly lovers romance with girlband member turned rock queen, Courtney. This book is just delicious. Fast burning, dirty talking, all consuming rockstar love.
Courtney has been hurt by her best friend and boyfriend. She has to face public scrutiny for quitting her band when she cannot cope with the realities of their betrayal anymore. Ammo is brought in as a producer to make sure her solo album is a success. These two just hate each other. She won't take his nonsense and he hasn't got time for her diva demands. However, this amount of hate can only go one way.... to them naked tearing at each other like animals against a wall. I am here for it. Every... single...page!
I love a good badboy turned devoted monogamous boyfriend story and Ammo has this vibe in spades. You do get to witness some of his misbehaviour early in the story. But once he gets a taste of Courtney he is all in. She takes a little longer to come round and realise her feelings.
This is a surprisingly real look at trust and hurt and getting over the pain of past relationships. Some of these conversations felt a little too close to home at times. But this is what makes Cassandra's characters so great to read. They arent sugar coated. And speaking of which, we get to crossover with some old favourites in Reign from the Disciples to Jett Powers. Always fun to see where these characters are in their lives.

Courtney Falcon decides to go solo after some scandalous news came out about her band the broken vixens. The one to help make that happen is Marshall “Ammo” Adams, the famous guitarist from the band the stuffed muffins. He is asked to produce her new album but with both having preconceived notions of the other is this a recipe for disaster or musical magic? Omg! Get ready for a heated enemies to lovers rockstar romance with lots of push and pull in the best way! These two need to get their egos in check to work together but sometimes the best music comes from a little…ahem…tension. There is a reason “The Ace Of Spades” Ammo can play a guitar real good! ;) Grab some ice water and strap in for this sizzling romance and I do mean S I Z Z L E . Don’t worry there is also a mystery woven in and lots of cameos!! Enjoy! Told in dual POV

The way I needed book like that.... Rock-Star romance with all the emotions involved was everything I craved lately and I swear- Reign deliver it all in spades. I'm finishing it not only speachless and in awe but also with a VERY big desire for more in this world.
We're 2 legends collide there's always fire, making love and desires powerful like never before. Reign was everything what rock star romance should bring. It's wild, messy, dirty, filled with overwhelming tension and chemistry. Ammo and Courtney are intense but I was so waiting for this - author is a master with dirty talk and steamy suspense. I couldn't get enough of them... They were both untamed just perfectly perfect in the rock star romance world way.
IF You love rock star romances and steam... this book is for You !!!! I finished reading, but I literally cannot stop rereading all my fave parts. This book is life, that's all. TOP read.

This was another exciting sexy angsty passionate rockstar romance that I loved written by Cassandra! I swear she can never steer me wrong with her stories they feed my soul! Ammo was absolutely everything I anticipated he would be and he needed a girl like Courtney she was the perfect match for our pretty f*@€ boy because man did he need some taming lol but so did she . I can’t recommend anything by this author enough the chemistry between her characters are always so intoxicating her stories are always filled with so much passion and the sexy times are elite to any other I’ve read ! I absolutely one hundred percent recommend this story! Definitely a five star read for me.

The romance was great but I have to admit- I didn’t love how gullible and weak the main character seemed. Courtney just seemed like she was easily taken advantage of but I guess maybe that’s the point too? Ammo then gets to be her big strong protector. This one was just okay for me.
🌀Synopsis
Courtney’s band is going up in flames. After finding her boyfriend with her band mate, she’s done. It’s time for her to go out on her own. There’s only one man for the job- Marshall Adams. Only, they get off to a bad start when Courtney walks into his home while there are naked women walking around and performing some favors for Marshall.
Regardless, the two come to an agreement and start working together. At first the relationship is really tumultuous but it starts to get better and there seems to be some attraction between the two. When Courtney’s past comes roaring back Marshall proves just how much he cares about her.

There is so much tension between them. This story is definitely not a slow burn, and it got spicy quickly.
I loved this story and loved Ammo and Court together. The plot is perfect, and this book has made me want to read more rockstar romance stories. This is the perfect enemies to lovers, age gap, and angsty romance. The story is well-written, there is great character development, and the author added some suspense, passion, danger, and drama. Reign has it all, and I will absolutely be reading more books by Cassandra Robbins.

Corvin King and Angelina Rocca did a fantastic job. Their performances were amazing, and they really brought the characters to life. Their voices allowed me to feel the connection and the chemistry between Ammo and Courtney. I could listen to Corvin King read anything! This was the perfect narrator duo, and I don't think anyone else could have portrayed Ammo and Courtney like they did.

Whew, these two were HOT.
Ammo was a rockstar, a womanizer, and pretty much an a**hole. He definitely didn’t like Courtney at first, believing her to be a spoiled brat. But he was also undeniable attracted to her.
These two were enemies but quickly turned to lovers. I mean, I didn’t even see them fall for each other. It was like one moment they hated each other, and the next, they were obsessed. I do wish there was more to them getting to know each other.
Anyway, I still really enjoyed this story. Courtney really went through a lot, considering she started a new career, fell in love, and went through betrayal more than once. But Ammo was there, and he did everything he could to help her and protect her.
This was a great enemies to lovers rockstar romance with a slight touch of suspense. It had angst, betrayal, drama, and spice.

Oh, my, Ammo! Wow! -picks my jaw up off the floor-
This book has it all! Romance, steam (so much steam), suspense, enemies to lovers, lots of "mine", healing, age gap (23 and 37), and found family. This was such a wild ride. Spice and chemistry and lots of hate right off the bat! They fall kinda at the same time (neither admits it, though) and he for sure falls harder. I wouldn't categorize this as insta-love because the story didn't seem rushed and it seemed like a lot of time passed, but in reality it was just a few months, so testament to Robbins' story telling in how it was kinda instant but didn't seem like it. Development happened and also there was so much going on in their lives that it just seemed like longer had passed.
Corvin King and Angela Rocca did a great job! Angela's voice seemed a little whiny and exasperated a little at times, but it fit with Courtney's character. Corvin King...this is the first thing I've heard him in, and his velvety voice has sky rocketed to one of my favorites. I could listen to him read the phone book and I would be happy. God, his voice does something to me.
I'm SO HAPPY that I found this book (recommended to me) and that I did the audio instead of reading it (thanks, Corvin!) because I cannot wait to go back and read book 1 and keep going with this series.

Reign is book two in the Rock God series, and I can tell you without reading any other…. Ammo is my favorite MMC. I don’t need to read any other male in this series, Ammo had MY HEART from the get go.
Not only is he famous and hot, not to mention the MOUTH ON HIM, he also is such a sweetheart. It just took one special woman to walk into his life to change his world. His character is possessive, bossy, and dirty as sin, and I loved how is character evolved throughout the book, going from playboy to committed.
Courtney needs a change up in her career after she catches her ex best friend with her bf. She leaves her band and goes off solo, in a contract with Ammo. These enemies quickly turn into lovers despite their differences.
I loved how real this story was, and their HEA didn’t come easily. They are faced with real life situations. Courtney needs to learn to trust again after her past, and on top of that, she’s got demons to fight that are right under her nose.
Their story really connects with the reader’s emotions.
This was an all consuming addicting read that I couldn’t put down.
What a way to bring in 2024, this book as off the charts !

I loved the first book in this series and was dying to dive into Reign as soon as it hit my kindle. Courtney and Ammo did not disappoint!

There are many side characters that have been in all different series of Cassandra Robbins and I am a slut for side characters that return. There is one character that I didn’t immediately make the connection, but when I realized, I immediately knew that there would be trouble on the horizon.

From the moment I picked up this book, I was utterly captivated by Courtney and Ammo. Their enemies to lovers, rockstar romance checked all of my boxes and delivered on all fronts. With blazing hot romance, good music, and explosive chemistry, I promise, you’re not gonna want to miss this book. And if that weren’t enough, the drama, swoon, and suspense will definitely knock you off your feet.

I must say I absolutely love the cover. The model is extremely attractive who looks exactly like how Ammo is described.
I would give this book 3.5 stars 🌟
It was definitely a good story and entertaining and very different from Granger's book.
My issue with the book is I couldn't connect to either Courtney or Ammo. For Courtney ....she definitely was a Diva. And that's fine given her field .....but she way too naive and too many child like tantrums. She was very guarded and supposedly didn't trust anyone yet it seemed she definitely trusted too easily but the wrong people.
Ammo was good Rockstar asshole. So it's expected way his lifestyle is that his character is way he is but doesn't take away from the fact he was still a hoe and Courtney supposedly had a thing against men who sleep around yet she easily slept with him with no protection.
Another thing is I feel there were parts I think would of made the story more interesting. For one her ex best friends and ex boyfriend. I would of like some type of scene of them crossing paths and how she deals with them. We only hear there attended a Grammy's but never went on stage...that's literally it.

OMG !! If you love your rockers hawt, confident and living the rock star life you have to get your hands on this book because it is that and so much more. Talk about chemistry and suspense Reign is a book that’s hard to put down.
After so much drama with her band Courtney decides to go solo and rock star Ammo is brought in to produce her music since he happens to be on a break at this time. Whew! These two are just plain crazy together. Just where is that line that shouldn’t be crossed?! To say that Courtney has trust issues after everything that has happened in her life is an understatement which doesn’t bode well when a stalker is involved in this story as well.
Makae sure to set some time aside because once I started this book it was hard to put down. What a fantastic storyline for all of us rock romance lovers.

I absolutely loved this book. It had kind of a slow start where I had to remember if I read the first book and get into the characters but once the ball got rolling, boy did it roll. The drama, and the plot were just A1. I wanted to know the who dunnit but also wanted to see Courtney win. I absolutely hated Ammo in the beginning and didn't understand how I was going to like him but im pretty sure he won me over the third time he said "Kneel" because the first time I was ready to swing on Courtney's behalf. Also, hey Jett 👋🏽 I missed you. I loved the tie in with Jett because that is one of my favorite of Cassandra's books and him being in this series and everything that happened was just the icing on the cake. Absolutely loved. I wouldn't mind hearing Jacob Morgan do audio for this or Andrew Scott 🤭😏

I have been waiting so patiently for this book to release, and the time has come. When Rise (book 1 of the Rock God series) was my top January read this year I knew when Cassandra blessed us with more books about the members I'd be OBSESSED.
Ammo and Courtney did not disappoint. I was pleasantly surprised (just like Ammo) that Courtney wasn't some spoiled rock princess with diva tendencies. She was so fun and wild, just like Ammo!
And yes, the bitch is back. Rachel from Power is Courtney's PR lady and she is the devil reincarnate as she was in Power. So prepare to roll your eyes non stop!
I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE WHO'S BOOK WE GET NEXT.

I love a rockstar romance! This was a filthy and fun time. If you are looking for a quick read to get you out of a slump, this is perfect. I listened to the audio and it was a quick listen that I finished in less than a day. Corvin King and Angelina Rocca did a great job narrating as Ammo and Courtney! Both have a raspier voice that fit in with the rockstar storyline.
Courtney is caught up in a scandal but needs to stay focused on her music career. Ammo, a rock legend, is brought in to produce her next album. They get off on the wrong foot but soon can’t resist the mutual attraction.

This book is why I love this author so much.
Talk about starting off the new year with a good book. And good is an understatement. This has never happened before but my first read of the year is on my top reads list.
Considering I couldn't put it down once starting it was a no brainer.
I was hooked from cover to cover.
This isn't just a rockstar romance, the plot twists had me yelling at my kindle.
It was very cleverly done.
I adore this couple, they balance each other so beautifully, but are they able to stay strong when the world around them burns?I highly recommend that you one click immediately to find out.

Ong this story was a wild ride of emotions ! Which I’ve come to love to see in a rockstar romances? This ride begins with Courtney and how she breaks out on her own to start a sold singing career, then we toss ammo into the mix who is a huge rock star as well ! Ammo is just how I love my rockstars... cocky, possessive and a whole lot nasty. This is is his enemies to lovers in the hottest way some of the steam in this book had me reaching for a glass of water lol , this book was phenomenal and such a great kick off to book two in the rock god series .

Unfortunately, this was just an alright read for me. Both Courtney and Ammo weren't the most likable characters, with Courtney coming off as a spoiled drama queen and Ammo coming off as a jerk, a-hole, and man-whore.. just a walking red flag. They both hate each other but have a lot of sex, although Courtney claimed to be uninterested in having sex with a man who sleeps around and has STDs..
There's sex, but no romance building, and Courtney was a little too dramatic for my liking. Unfortunately, this one didn't stand out to me.

Cassandra Robbins did it again, another great book! She brought us a Hero you will hate to love, and a heroine that definitely deserves her HEA, but only after she overcomes her angsty beginning, middle & end.
From the start this book grabbed my and took me on a ride were you either will fall in love with Courtney & Ammo or just give up now and walk away. I didn’t think she could write anything better than her MC Series, but this was a super close tie to me. 4.5 bright stars 🌟!!!

February 7, 2024Heroine is way to stupid and naive for me. She has all those snakes around her, that H sees in instant, but h is blind and naive. And she grew up in the indrusty. I dont want to read her being blind and backstabbed, when it is not even covered well. Like she should have realised years ago.
h sees H having orgie, sex etc. Like first meeting he has his dick out and in OW mouth. And 2 weeks later she has unprotected sex with him.
heroine was also too neurotic for me. All those trantrums...
