The One didn’t exist.

Then I met Meadow.

The band's honorary little sister was off-limits. Too late for that. She says we’re “nothing serious,” but she’s gotten under my skin and I can’t stop thinking about her. And when I touch her, I know we’re meant to be.

Happy Endings don’t exist.

Not even with Ridge.

My big plans never included falling for a rock star. Too soon for that. He wants to make us a “thing,” and I can’t deny our chemistry is combustible. His persistence is wearing me down, making his proposition hard to resist.

If true love only exists in fairy tales, why am I beginning to believe that Ridge just might be my happily ever after?

5 DING DONG STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ridge is the 4th book in the Crow Brothers Series. While you don’t have to read about Jet, Tulsa and Rivers to understand what’s going on this in beautifully crafted romance, I don’t know why you’d want to deny yourself the pleasure of getting to know the entire hot and sexy band.

Ridge aka, Dave, is a swoony, honest, loving piece of perfection that I will not soon forget. This man….GAHHHH! I loved everything about him. Dave’s honesty is such a turn on, if I could have jumped into the pages of this story and keep him for myself I would. He’s thoughtful, endearing and looks out for the ones he loves like it's his mission in life.

This story has love, laughter and friends who are like family that will support you unconditionally. The chemistry between Dave and Meadow is a five-alarm fire! Every time they were in the same room together, I knew something significant would happen. I felt their connection to my core. I was hooked from Page 1 and I knew that letting go in the end would not be easy.

Meadow is young and may be naïve in some ways, but she’s not naïve about her heart and how she truly feels about Dave. He is the center of her universe and that scares her. She loves Dave with every fiber of her being, but the negative voices of her past continue to haunt her. At the end of the day, my heart broke for her. I was sad to see her make decisions she thought “had to be done," I wanted her to follow her heart because it led to Dave and his unconventional love!

Ms. Scott has proven time and time again that she can not only grab my attention but captivate my heart. The passion, love and authenticity she brings to her characters is the stuff made of dreams. This book gave me ALL.THE.FEELS. I loved it, I loved the characters and I loved Ridge/Dave. I fell in love with Dave and Meadow just as much as they did with each other. Dave has no doubt wiggled his way up to the top of my Book Boyfriend list. This love story works! My heart is full ❤❤❤

Ridge
(The Crow Brothers #4)
By: S.L. Scott
4 Ding-Dong Stars!!!

Popping my S.L. Scott cherry with Ridge. I love a good rocker book and was stoked to dive into this one!

Ridge/Dave deserves a medal for lasting through the ‘friend zone’ as long as he did. He never forgot about her. Although the phone does ring both ways, neither of them pursued that option.
Meadow Fellows is a tough cookie, that’s for sure. Having just returned from completing her intern position in London, she is heading back to school for her last year of college. All grown up and ready to face what life throws to her. Even if she’s not ready for what life brings to her plate, a box of ding-dongs will surely ease the pain!

Who would have ever imagined that a Do-Over would start the ball rolling down the lane for the perfect strike!!!

The story is a very slow burning romance. Although labelled that it can be read as a standalone, I was totally clueless on the other characters in the story and their backgrounds. I feel like yes, this is a standalone….however it would be best to read the others in the series before jumping in to this one. There were times like I felt like the outsider listening to a conversation that didn’t belong to me. That’s just me though…I like to know about everyone I’m reading about.

Was a good read and I would definitely read more from this author!

"Mr. Field Fellowes will see you now"

I just found my favorite in this series. My favorite Crow, favorite Carson, favorite rock star, favorite Dave. I can't even find the words!

"Being with you forever doesn't scare me. The thought of living a life without you does"

Dave is so incredibly sweet, it totally melt my heart. And Meadow is so strong, even when she is the most vulnerable.

This is a love story, but it's also a family story. A story of how family, real family, always have your back, it's about loyalty, love, friendship, faith in each other, it's about "Four guys. Four friends. Four musicians. One band. One family". And so much more than that!

Both Dave and Meadow have a lot of heavy baggage, they deal with pasts, with what their families brought or still bring over them, they deal with their insecurities and they try to learn how to fight against it.

Dave is everything. He is sweet, respectful, loyal. He is someone I wish were real just so I could see into his eyes, because they sounded so powerful and nurturing and warming. He is patient and kind, he is loving and protective. And he totally supports Meadow in her decisions, even if it breaks him.

"I always believed in you, but to know you believe in us means everything to me"

Meadow is learning her place in this world. She is fighting with all she has to be her own person, and not the extension of someone else. She is independent, strong, resilient. And even if she comes off a little stuborn sometimes, you can see and understand her reasons. She doesn't want to be a burden, she wants to be a partner. But the important thing is that she learns quickly, and she realizes the real fears and the real goals she must aim to.

"If you were in New York or Chicago, Miami, or even Timbuktu, I'd want to be there because it's not about the placec. It's about you. You're my home. My safe place, you love my shelter, your support the roof. I can weather anything when I'm with you"

This book was exquisite. I love the author's writing and how insightful and sensitive she can be. The characters are deep and they develop beautifully. Their backgrounds are solid and their connection is outstanding.

I swooned and I melt reading this book. I laughed out loud and I felt their pain. And I even learned a lot about about love, life and bad words when Dave gets advice from Alfie...you know, the nine year old amazingly adorable boy.

And in the end, they det even more than what they were looking for. They got their future, they got their history, they got their family, they got their love.

"Love is finding the love of your life in a crowd of ten thousand because she's the only one who exists to me"

Ridge/ Dave is every woman's dreamboat in every way! Caring, considerate, selfless, protective, passionate…
Adorable through and through! I fell in love with him at the very beginning of this book, and my love grew the farther I read his and Meadow’s story. If it were feasible, I would love to marry this dream man.
Meadow, on the contrary, loves her independence and is kind of gun-shy when it comes to commitment and relationships because her parents were a bad role model for her...
That's why Ridge and Meadow are in a predicament…

Both characters feel very genuine, very profound in everything they do, think and believe in…
I felt like I stood by their side, felt the same they felt, worried about the same problems, decisions, life choices as they did…

I can’t praise Ms. Scott enough for writing and creating this authentically feeling, sensitive, profound, complex and complicate romance that captivates her readers from the first page and never lets them go until the last page is turned and until the last sentence is read.…, that will never let them catch their breaths as long as they are captured in this phenomenal story!
This book touches me emotionally so deeply in my heart and in my soul that I have no words to express myself even approximately adequately and to put into words what I felt while reading this fantastic novel!
I have to repeat myself in saying this book is everything and even so much more!

5+ STARS FOR RIDGE/DAVE!! 5 STARS, 5 STARS, 5 STARS, I sound like a broken record and this record went platinum in my world. Ridge was PHENOMENAL, just like this rest of the books in this series. Dave and Meadow's story is so beautiful, touching and full of love, it will be in my heart forever. If you haven't read this series please do yourself a favor and start it. This book can be read as a standalone, but I suggest reading all of them.

NOPE! I just do not see how these two even fit together. He seems like a soulful musician and she seems like a indecisive brainless twit. In her Meadow’s head she fawns over Ridge thinking he is the greatest thing since sliced bread and the only one who makes her heart beat, BUT when she is with him what she says is the total opposite and pushes him away. Meadow keeps telling Ridge she only wants to be friends. Her antics are just too childish and immature. It seems like Meadow wants Ridge to chase her while she plays hard to get, no thank you! When they finally do get together she is still pretty immature and obnoxious that it’s too hard to get over and see why he would ever want to be with her.

Ridge’s snarky comment to Meadow and her antics summed it all up perfectly, “heaven forbid two people who like spending time together and have fantastic chemistry together want more.” However, again Meadow just wants to be friends. Dumb.

Ridge by SL Scott is part of The Crow Brothers series. These rockers will melt your heart & each one just makes you swoon. Ridge aka Dave is an honorary brother who joined their band but is part of their family.
Ridge meets Meadow, the sister of Stella who will marry one of the Crow brothers. The Crow brothers have grown up protecting Meadow & see her as a younger sister. Her upbringing was not the best & she has trouble trusting & giving her heart for fear of getting hurt.
Ridge knows Meadow is it for him and is willing to do what it takes to earn her trust and see they are meant to be. Ridge is the rocker but Dave is the sweety and swoony one.
Will Dave and Meadow get their HEA? Will Meadow trust herself to open up and believe in love?
If you haven’t read The Crow brothers books, you must! Ridge was amazing and I couldn’t put it down! If you love a good rocker series, this is it!!!

This book grabbed on to every heartstring of mine and played all the right notes. Ridge was everything you would be looking for in a book and as a person. Let’s just say I will never think about Ding Dongs in the same way ever again.

This author has a way of bringing so much more to her books than just a rocker romance. She brings depth of characters, real situations that you can identify with and a fresh perspective. She also creates emotional moments that bring you to your knees. These are moments you want to be a part of and never forget. I don’t do spoilers because I don’t think it’s fair to the author. I will tell you if you read this book for no other reason than Meadow leaving to go to the airport, then you’ve got your monies worth. That’s all I’ll say about that. I want to live in that moment.

Yes, there were times I wanted to throttle Meadow and her indecisiveness, but that’s what made her real. How many times in life do we think we’re doing what we want? When really we’ve listened to others and let them form our opinions and ideas and we don’t even realize it.
The phrase, “Youth is wasted on the young” plays a significant role in Meadows life. I get it though. Life experiences make us who we are and why we do and act the way we do.
Ridge/Dave gets this. This is the girl he’s fell for. This girl sees him for him. If he doesn’t let her choose her path he could lose her forever. Meanwhile, he has his own life circumstances to deal with. Seriously, who doesn’t. Sometimes as understanding as someone is life can become too much and you lose your cool. These are all human traits that every person deals with on an everyday basis.

This story brought angst, sweetness, smiles, romance, real swoons and packed the heat. We also got to meet up with favorite characters from the past. This was a real treat for me seeing them again and finding out what is going in their lives. Don’t worry though this book totally stands on its own. If you didn’t read the former books you won’t be lost. However, I would suggest afterwards doing yourself a favor and reading them. You can then decide which one is your favorite. My favorite is... all of them!

Normally, I can zip through a book exceptionally fast. When I was reading Ridge I didn’t want to do that. I took my time to absorb every aspect of this story and the journey my heart was taking. It was more than worth the time and the reflection.

GAH!!! I freaking inhaled this book. It hit my Kindle, I read the prologue, took a break. Read the prologue again and for good measure I read it a third time. I found it mesmerizing and I just knew as amazing it was, the rest of the book would be as captivating. I found myself utterly besotted with Dave "Ridge" Carson and almost equally in love with Meadow, because she sure seemed like the girl made for Dave.

Like any great love story, Dave and Meadow go through many ups and a few downs. He's a rock star living in LA, she's a student in Austin, Texas and their first separation challenged the very fabric of their connection. I had faith they would make it back to each other but my heart very nearly couldn't take the stress.

Dave "Ridge" Carson is IT for me! With Dave, S.L. Scott created the most swoony of men. He's the ultimate in romantic leads, poetic and sensitive, strong and supportive, and the man does not play games. You will feel his loneliness which will only make you wish you could just give him a hug. Meadow is really the only female he's had more than friends with benefits feelings for and she comes with some baggage, but I really liked her for him. He's struggling with hos own family issues...like Meadow I think of him as Dave, not "Ridge". Ridge is just his stage persona. Even in that he's not one of those rowdy rockstars, He's a man who loves music and just wants to do his job, and he's kind and gentle soul:

“It’s not about your words. It’s about your heart. I promise to hear what it tells me instead of only listening to the beats.” When our lips meet, it’s not just the physical contact but the words she doesn’t have to say that are felt.
She cares more than she can say, and I’ll take it. “Are you ready?”
“My whole life.”

S.L. Scotts' writing has never been better. She channeled a man, a young woman and their voices are strong. That's the only way I can explain how consumed I was (am) with this couple. I found myself crying at Dave's words, at Meadows decisions, and reeling at the direction their relationship took. But happily, strife often leads to some amazing make-up sexy times and these two are a forest fire - seriously smoldering.

I simply can't recommend this enough! It can easily be read as a standalone and will only inspire you to read the other "Crow Brothers" books. 5++ Stars!!

Oh my Dave....this book was soooo good and don't know where to begin...
I always knew that Dave was someone special. And boy did he prove his worth in this book. I love him and he should forget all about Meadow and choose me instead.

Almost 80% off the book I was hating her so much for, even if it was unintentional, hurting him with her not knowing what she wants in life. But as she FINALLY made up her mind how much she can't live without him, she redeemed herself in my eyes and I'll be able to sleep a little easier now fully aware that he has someone who loves him like he deserves.

This series just proved to me why I love reading about rock stars so much. I can't wait to see what S.L.Scott has in store for us next.

This book is so many amazing things! Ridge and Meadow's story is sweet and fun and so so sexy. Their spark is instant and combustable. Together, in their bubble they are unstoppable! Past, present, doubt and bad advice throw curve ball after curve ball their way. Their story is like a seesaw, up and down.
Dave Ridge Carson is not only charming and sexy he's a poet. His words and actions for Meadow are every girls dream come true! He isn't your typical rock star and he only has eyes for Meadow! Meadow is smart, determined, and stubborn! The pair different, but so similar in many ways. Their banter is light and refreshing!
Ridge is the perfect addition to the Crow brothers series. It was so great catching up with this amazing family!!

Ridge will steal your heart!

How does keep making these rockers better and better?

The Crow Brothers and The Resistance are full of fantastic, dreamy heroes and women who are amazing!

I've known we'd get to Ridge/Dave and Meadow for a while now, but I don't know why I'm surprised by all the feels!

Meadow thinks she is protecting herself and listening to the flawed advice she received from her leaving mother and drunk father, except she really cares for Ridge.

Ridge is the only single Crow Brother left but he knows Meadow is the one he wants except she isn't there.

Their journey to happiness encounters a few bumps in the road, mostly not saying what they want.

We get to ride along on their trip, experiencing their ups and downs. Their passion for each other.

He's simply dreamy. He's knocked Rivers off as my current favorite.

Love the interactions with the rest of the family. Jet's son is so cute! I FLOVED IT!!!

I love SL Scott and her books. This Crowe Brothers series is amazing and a wonderful journey. Ridge does not disappoint.

Ridge is a beautiful love story of Dave and Meadow. And family and friends and doing life together!

This book gave me all the feels. Ridge/Dave is this amazing guy who loves Meadow but he knows he has to let her find herself even though he doesn’t want too.

Meadow is young, loves Dave but wants to stand on her own to feet. She has commitment issues related to her parents and isn’t sure where love can fit into her life.

What l love about this book is when Dave and Meadow are honest with themselves and each other- even when things don’t go as planned- beautiful things can still happen.

The support of all the Crowe Brothers and The Resistance- the guys and the girls add so much to the depth of this book!!

I could go on and on and wish I could give it a 10 Star review because it’s just that fabulous!!

Dave Carson (Ridge) has finally, unexpectedly, met the woman of his dreams. But, she doesn't want a thing, a relationship, whatever you want to call it. You see, she's closed herself off to the idea of love, thanks to her awful parents, who were not exactly the role models for beautiful, romantic love. So Dave gives her what she wants, and lets her go. Will she ever come back to him? Will she ever wrap her head around the notion that just because you love someone and they love you, does not mean you lose your independence, lose your self? Or will she focus herself on her dream, her independence, her career?

Agh this story got to me right in the gut! Dave may not be a Crow brother by blood, but he's one by virtue of love, and he's got those boys beat in the swoonworthy department. I didn't think it was possible, but it's a fact - Dave is the absolute sweetest, most patient, most adorable hero yet of S.L. Scott's. There were times I wanted to smack Meadow upside the head, though, because she was frustrating as hell with her stubbornness and closed off heart. And yet, I felt for her, and could certainly understand why she was the way she was. And Dave loved her, so she gets a huge pass from me. Still, had she not been paired with the amazing guy that Dave is, I probably wouldn't have given her a pass. But, I loved their story. It's emotional and beautiful and real. Sounds strange to call a rockstar romance real, but Ridge is real. Dave and Meadow are really like anyone any of us could know and love. They're that down to earth and low-key. And awesome, let's not forget awesome, cuz they are that. This whole story is, and I am just glad S.L. gave it to us, so thank you!

I received an eARC copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Dave... oohhhh I freaking love him. He is so sweet and loyal and wonderful and beutiful and I could go on, and on, and on.. yeah I know, you got it. And like Meadow says.. Dave is the one to look after, not Ridge. I never liked his nickname, and apparently for a reason.

"I love you, because you might hide your fears, but your heart is still open. I love you because when I've had a bad day, hearing your voice makes it better. But most of all, I love you because I don't have to prove myself to you. You've given me yourself, and loving you is the best thing I will ever do, Meadow Soleil. Your heart, your trust, and your support are everything to me. "
By Dave Carson

Meadow is a young and very confused woman. She really doesn't know what she wants. I get it that she didn't have a nice role model while growing up, but still, why would you steer away from such a kind man like Dave is?
But I give her credit how she stood up for Dave in front of his father. That was hands down the best decision that she ever made.

At times I was pulling my hair out when they were both too stubborn to make a step toward reconciliation. Other times I was swooning for them and with them, because they can be realy nice and sweet.

I really have to mention The Crow Brothers. They are so loyal to Meadow and are standing up for her, really impressive. I loved their parts in this book, because it wouldn't be the same without them. And lastly Alfie. O my god I love this kid. He is so smart and funny and really lovable. He is a little prince charming already. Love their bond between him and Tulsa.
Amazing book, Suzie did it again. Bravo!

This series is full of colorful personalities and not the typical band story. Ridge has always been interesting, his start with Meadow is as unique as their names. They were having something casual that got broken up then met again having to reevaluate. But the time apart has matured them somewhat. I don't quite remember Stella's sister or we only saw glimpses but she's was a free spirit and her job made her more responsible.

Both at different points in their lives make it complicated but the feelings are still there. Meadow is stuck in her head so much and Ridge is trying his best. It got frustrating watching them I wanted them to get it together. Ridge needs a haven but Meadow is adamant on staying away. It's quite opposite for them lovers to friends to a big question mark.

Ridge doesn't give up even if his heart if on the line too. His feelings run deep and he likes all the quirks Meadow has complications aside. She sees him beyond his fame and that's always special. As much as she denies it heart is with the man, the memories and flashbacks of them as sweet and sexy. I'm glad they decided to fight for one another inspite of the many obstacles. Become a haven for each other and the support Dave gives Meadow to be herself is so wonderful.

This was a great rock band series, it all came full circle and the next generation on the way. The Crow Brothers is another memorable series from SL Scott.

This story is a story of growth in ones heart and soul; it is a story of ones strength to not give up for love. Now to Dave and Meadow’s journey of love. Dave is very patient with his need to be with Meadow, but it his patience running thin. He wants more Meadow in his life, but Meadow is so determined to be independent in her life. Meadow didn’t have the best role models in her life; she doesn’t want it all to come to end like what she has been told as a child.
Dave aka Ridge knows the right words as he describes his passion for Meadow.

“Love is finding the love of your life in a crowd of ten thousand because she’s the only one who exists to me”

Love for these two is finding the balance to know when to push and pull. It takes time for them and for Meadow to see that it is ok to love and let someone be there for them. She is so strong and always thinking as if the other shoe will drop. Dave will give her anything, but he knows not to do it. He knows that this is not race it is a marathon. She realizes it when she tells him about her opportunities instead of tell her what to do he listens.

When I wanted his input, I didn’t realize how much hearing it would me to me.
“You’re incredible and intelligent. They’d be lucky to have you”.

That is what she needed and yet again Dave had the right words. I loved this couple to the bitter end and I could lost in eating Ding Dongs and emerald eyes to have more from them.

Omg! I absolutely loved this rockstar book that had just about everything, love, heartbreak, sex by the bucket load and a huge amount of cat and mouse. And a brilliant happy ever after.

I have read this whole series and as the books went on I fell more in love with the Crow Brothers and the "brother" that has stolen my heart the most is Dave aka Ridge. He isn't a Crow by blood but a Crow he most certainly is. This shows the type of men that we meet in this series but especially this book.

We first met Meadow in Rivers book. She is the little sister of Stella and she was somewhat sheltered in that book but she has her demons, that surface throughout this book. Meadow doesn't hold back and says exactly what she thinks and is funny as hell when she has had a drink or ten.

From the end of the last book and through every page of this book. You can see the love all over the relationship between Dave and Meadow. I am using Dave and you will find out why when you read this fantastic romance. Its really hard to explain a lot of what happens without ruining a brilliant book.

To say I recommend this book and series is a huge understatement. I really feel you would be missing out on some amazing writing. If you love a rockstar romance but are bored of the typical arsehole that behaves as such this book is for you. It contains men that appreciates a women and knows how to treat one. He doesn't need to reform he just is.

Why do we only get 5 stars when it deserves so much more. Book 4 of the Crow series. I didn't think I could possibly love one more then the other but she really did it. Ridge!!!
Happy Endings Don't Exist or Do They?
I just finished this book and it's everything if not more. MS. Scott has done an amazing job with Ridge/Dave and Meadows story. How she included all the characters throughout the other Crow series. (Plus a few others) and still kept it about these two was awesome. I experienced so many feelings throughout reading this. I laughed, cried, got angry, it was swoony, sexy, hot, and I fell more in love with Ridge/Dave and Meadow. It just has all the feels to it. I also enjoyed how Alfie was more included here too. Aside from that, Ridge has the weight of the world on his shoulders with family, finding his one and having to let her go and also being a rockstar. Meadow is trying to find herself and not depend on others or love as she was taught early on. Ridge also makes sacrifices for Meadow when he knows where his heart belongs.  So as you journey through their time together you'll learn there is alot to discover. The friendship, love, laughter, family, and where the heart belongs. MS Scott just has this way with words that suck you right in and makes you feel like your a part of them. I highly recommend reading all the Crow brothers but definetly would read this one. Amazing love story with some tears and laughter. I'm so excited to know what's next..
I LOVED this book!!!

I could write an entire review on just the characters alone. Who they are. What they go through. But, you've already read the blurb, you know what this is about. So instead of wasting my time and yours, let me just tell you this... S.L. Scott books come to life. Their like watching a movie in your head. You see them. You feel their pain. You imagine them as real people, people you'd like to know. They become someone you'd see on your street, or in this case, a band you'd see playing in a huge arena.
I knew, very quickly, I was I gonna love this book. By chapter 9 I had to stop and write my thoughts out on my kindle. I don't usually do that. Usually I wait until the last page before thinking of what I've read. But with this one, I couldn't. I had to stop and think back of all the characters in this book. Their stories, their loves and how each story, each book, came to life in my head. It was like saying hi to old friends once more.
So, should you read this? I hope so. Because in the words of David Carson aka Ridge aka S.L. Scott- "We were a moment in time, something tangible before the sunrise." With that quote alone, this book deserves to be read.

My heart feels all warm and fuzzy! 😍 Ridge/Dave is such a wonderful, caring, sexy, sensitive and strong young man. Meadow is a beautiful, loving, sweet, kind hearted young woman who has some emotional damage, left over by her cruel parents. Together they take an up and down journey, trying to figure out who they are are meant to be and what they want in life. This book was so beautifully touching and tinged with sadness and angst but a whole lot of love! I really loved Dave’s understanding nature and his love for Meadow shines through at all times. Meadow was so caught between her head and her heart that I really felt for her. She really loved Dave and it showed in her pain and insecurities. This whole book is filled with so many deep, raw emotions as well as happy, funny and heartwarming ones, that shape it into an amazing story! The Crow Brothers gang is just a fantastic group of people that just give you so much joy to read about even in the midst of such feeling and depth. S.L. Scott is one of my favourite authors!

There was never a doubt in my mind that Dave "Ridge" Carson would find love. As the "last man standing" for The Crow Brothers, it seemed inevitable but not because of fame, money, or groupies. Dave is genuinely a sweet and amazing guy. Of course someone would sweep him up...

Too bad she swept him up and knocked him on his ass!

Love isn't easy. Love isn't always kind. Sometimes it isn't love holding you back but insecurities-in this case lots of insecurities!

Ridge is swoony. He is kind. He is patient. He is a rock star. What's not to love!?! But his story isn't all rainbows and some butterflies can't fly. Ridge is real and he is hurting. It's a beautiful story for a character we all love. I'm glad I finally got to "meet" the one who stole his heart!

I am absolutely in love with Meadow & Ridge's love story! There really is so much to love about this book. It's about overcoming painful messages that we often learn as children that make an imprint on our identity as adults. Even when we want to believe something else for ourselves it's not so easy to take that path. Meadow & Ridge have amazing chemistry and begin to build on a deep connection when life decisions have an impact on their relationship.

There is so much love, laughter, genuine & unconditional support and family in this story. The characters are truly likable and relatable. It was amazing the interactions Meadow and Ridge had with Jet & Hannah and Alfie, Tulsa & Nikki, and swoony Rivers and Stella. It's always a good day when the crew of the Resistance make an appearance.

Although this book evokes a lot of feelings it's the incredible love that wraps you up and shines through. Definitely a must read!!!

I have not read the previous Crow Brothers books yet, but you can bet I'm going back to read them now although, I can pretty much already figure out the outcomes, I still need to read how they all came to pass in their relationships. Ridge is NOT a Crow by birth but he is a Crow by choice and is their premiere guitarist. Meadow has known the Crow brothers since childhood and should be considered off limits but little sister has her own mind and even knowing how good something is doesn't convince her that love doesn't exist. Ridge has his work cut out for him with Meadow but he also needs to learn a few things himself. Some steamy moments and some teary ones as well. While I loved the adults...I absolutely adored Alfie!! <3

After starting this story the line "if you love something set it free...." kept going through my mind. Ridge/Dave is really a great guy - thoughtful, patient, romantic and a rock star. Meadow is young, working hard to get her degree and a great learning opportunity is part of her future. She is proud and determined to be an independent individual. . . maybe a little too determined.

This is a well written book with a scene stealer in Alfie. While it is a romance I would say it is a book about finding yourself and what makes you happy. Sometimes it pays to take a step back and evaluate what is important in your life. This book is a wonderful wrap up to the series.

This is such a perfect ending to this series! I just love Ridge/Dave! He’s got it all. He’s sexy, funny, loyal and rock star. Meadow is sweet, determined and still finding herself. The writing is phenomenal. This book provides all the feels. It’s angsty, funny and heartwarming. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough! I received an advance review copy in exchange for an honest review.

S.L. Scott is an immediate 1-click author for me and stories like Ridge is the reason why. This story was a sweet and emotional journey that will captivate you. I have loved all the characters in this series and Ridge and Meadow will not disappoint.

Dave “Ridge” Carson knows Meadow Fellowes is the one for him, but he also knows truly winning her will not be easy. They have known each other for a long time but Meadow is determined to make it on her own and be independent. Because of this, she only lets Ridge in so far. Since she never had any good role models on relationships and commitment, she is determined to not need a man. But there is something about Ridge.

I absolutely loved Ridge. He was caring, patient, but also very determined. He knew he wanted Meadow, but also knew he had to tread lightly. On the other hand, Meadow knows she cares for Ridge deeply, but does not know how to let love in and because of that, keeps him at arm’s length. Can she truly be independent and let herself love Ridge?

Ridge by S.L. Scott was a story about love, growth, and family. You see a couple who cares deeply about each other, but must learn to navigate through life’s obstacles and that sometimes, together is better than alone.

4.5 stars! Loved it! Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.

Happy reading!

I loved Ridge and Meadow. They started as friends then to lovers. He the rising Rock Star, and she is still in college. I loved getting to see all the Crows. Alfie is adorable, and I want more of that cute kid. Ridge loves her enough to let her grow, and have faith she will come back. ❤️
