This isn’t an angsty, tear-your-heart-out, ugly-cry romance. This is a love story. Kira Abelman forgot what it was like to have fun. She spent her teens at the front of the stage cheering for Immortal Angel at every show. Her life had been filled with excitement and adrenaline. Now, as A&R rep for her father’s record company, she’s overworked, overtired and spread thin. Thirty days on tour with a sexy, bearded and tattooed roadie is exactly what she needs in order to light up her boring life with passion. It’s supposed to be a no-strings-attached good time, but it turns into so much more. She knew their time together had an expiration date, but she isn’t ready to say goodbye. With 3,000 miles between them and careers that send them in different directions, can Kira finally get her happily ever after and prove that fairy tales do come true? This is a stand-alone novel. Kira is working for her father's record company. She is overworked and burnt out when she meets a roadie for the band named Brett. Brett is tall, tattooed and sexy. He brings a fresh of breath air to Kira's life. The only problem is 3,000 miles separates them. Can they make a relationship work over long distance.
Another great addition to this series! Kira & Brett are sweet & HOT together! This is definitely a beautiful love story. Always great to have the Immortal Angel crew together and when you mix it with the Bulletproof crew magic! Thanks Jenna for another fantastic story!
OMG, I forgot how much I enjoy being in this world!! Jenna Galicki has such a great way of writing about music, about the sounds, the performances, the crowd, he whole package. You can see it, hear it and feel it as if you were really right there in the crowd. This story is adorable. I love that so much of Kira's decisions are left up to fate and that her friends and family are there to help fate along. I love that Brett is this big dude that by all accounts from his appearance, should be emotionally closed off and maybe even gruff but is the exact opposite. He is a great reminder that a book shouldn't be judged by its cover, so to speak. I adore their interactions with one another and with the supporting cast. I also really love that it's just a simple love story and not filled with all the twists and turns that so many books take. Sometimes a story is simple and still totally worth hearing. The book travels at a steady and natural pace. All of the characters just add to the depth of the story. There are adventures and excitement while still keeping it a simple story. Loved it from start to finish!
The Roadie is book seven in the Radical Rock Star series. Just when you think you are missing these rock stars we love, we get to see how Kira finally lands her shot at finding the one. She is an Abelman and work is her life, she doesn't have time for love, but coffee and her job may just change this. Brett is a Roadie, but fate has some plans for these two cause you will be surprised how they met and think they will never see each other again. You will feel the chemistry between these two are off the charts and you will be rooting to see if living on opposite coasts can be enough to bring Kira out of her shell and explore a little less work and a little more life. It was nice catching up with the bands and seeing the Abelman clan again. You can read these as a standalone, but you won't want to miss how each of these rock stars fall.
This is the 7th book in this series and is Kira and Brett’s story. Kira works for her dad’s record company and is at the end of her rope from being overworked and exhausted. Brett is a sexy tattooed roadie and when fate brings them together, he brings a new lease of life into her. Distance could create a problem for them to have a relationship, but can the persevere? There is a wonderful set of secondary characters and this is great read. This is a well written flawless story which is a poignant love story. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I look forward to reading more from this author. I recommend this for all.
The Roadie is the seventh book in Radical Rock Stars Series. I've been waiting for Kira Abelman's story, and it was just what I expected from JG. I thought it was well written, and Brett and Kira were so perfect for one another. I enjoy the interaction between all the characters. I swear with each book I read in this series, I seem to fall more in love with these characters. I recommend this book and this series!
Brett is a charming young man who meets Kira in Starbucks when an ignorant person knocks her coffee all over her. As he’s helping her clean off her blouse, things heat up and hot sex is on the bathroom sink. They part but never expect to see each other again. Until Brett shows up as a roadie for her brother-in-laws band.
I loved this story of a successful woman and her working class man!
The Roadie was a great read. I loved Kira in the other books and it was great to get to know her more. She is overworked and burnt out working for her father’s record company. She then meets a roadie, Brett, and he brings a new meaning to her life. This is a sweet story and a lot of it is left up to fate. Kira’s family and friends play an important role in helping fate. This was another great rock story in this series. I love all of the characters and the way that Ms. Galicki writes. She brings not only the characters but the experiences to life. I cannot wait to see what is next!
I love keeping up with this series. Love the characters and it's great to enjoy the hustle and craziness of a touring band again. Thank you for yet another fun and enjoyable installment in the series!
