from 4185 reviewsAfter 2 years with my Paddletek G6 I decided it was time to splurge and upgrade on my paddle. (My girlfriend also got one of these to upgrade from a cheap amazon so it's night and day for her). The change was drastic enough it took a few weeks to really get the hang of my new DBD. The greatest difference for my play was the extra handle length, on my old paddle my hand covered the entire grip with no room to spare. This paddle's grip has almost an inch of play for my hand and I'm still working out how best to use that, but I've recognized on multiple occasions where the extra reach made a difference and I got a good hit I wouldn't have made before.
Of course, the texture on the face is incredible and a noticeable upgrade from my old paddle's fiberglass. After playing, there's actually a kind of build up of "shavings" from the ball (I rub it off easily enough on my pant leg or use the rubber block I bought with it to give a real clean now and then). All that to say, it allows for much more spin in my game which I didn't focus on before and I am working on more strategic hits and placement with this new aspect of the paddle.
I made the decision not to go for one of the crazy pro paddles not just because they cost over $250, but also because I'd be afraid to play with them and be mad any time they got a little scratch or ding. I see edgeless paddles and don't get the feeling that balls that hit their edge are somehow not going to be mishit, they are rounded after all. So I have been very happy to go with this type of paddle, more expensive than the mid-level but definitely worth it for how often I play. I did buy some edge guard tape (I went with a plain white with no brand and it looks good on my black+white paddle.) because I still want to keep this paddle in good condition for many, many games to come.
Very happy with the product and wish I was out playing with it rather than typing away here. :)
Just received the final piece to the collection and nothing against the Triple Black Diamond, but for my style of play I prefer my Jaume Pro and Double Black Diamonds. The Willinator is still an amazing paddle especially if you utilize 2 handed drives and I’d recommend it to those style players! Literally can’t go wrong with any of these paddles and everyone should be playing with sixzero’s!! Love these things and can’t wait to see future developments from you guys! Thanks for making the best paddles on the market 🙌🏽
The BD JMV is the best all court paddle I’ve purchased that leans more on the power side and I’ve tried all the brands. It is very a predictable paddle with great control & pop. My favorite part is the generous sweet spot and amazing spin. This paddle is highly recommend for power players seeking more control without sacrificing much pop. Job well done six zero!
This paddle lives up to all the hype. Reasonable pricing.
The requirement for additional over grip cannot be overstated if you prefer a thicker grip.
My wife (3.25) asked me to find the best paddle for her. I did a massive amount of research, ended up in John Kew's database and found that Infiniity Black Diamond Power had the perfect balance of power, control, and massive spin. Now in her 3rd week, she absolutely loves it.
Started playing a little over a year ago. Wanted to step up my game as I was nearing a tournament. After doing some research, I decided to go with the Double Black Diamond Control. I must say, I was not disappointed! From the longer handle to the raw carbon face, I have stepped up my game. Being able to control my shots while also hitting with so much power is exactly what I was looking for! Took some adjusting but I am ready for tournament play!
I’ve been very happy and impressed with BD Infinity paddle. I have about 15 hours of play on I’ve adjusted well to the touch and swing power needed to be consistent. The Fiberglass face is surprisingly soft on control shots and the paddle has good power as well as pop when playing aggressively at the baseline drives and kitchen put aways. The paddle does twist in the hand more than some other paddles I’ve played with when you miss the sweet spot but being edge less and already having a low swing weight I’ve added 3 grams per side to the paddle to shore up the stability. I highly recommended the BDI if you want a paddle that you can use for any play style and easily customize with perimeter weighting.
I received my DBD paddle about a month ago, and it was awesome out of the box. It was so good that I confidently played a tournament with it shortly after receiving it. It has plenty of power, nice control, and solid spin capability. It even looks good. Recently, I have been tinkering with weight tape, but have found that I don't need a lot to dial in this one.
Needed a paddle that maintained my dinking control but increased my power, this was it!! Already won a tournament with it! Friend tried it and she purchased one too! Totally recommend it!
I hated spending this much $ on a paddle. I’ve always believed paddle hype is overrated and it’s not the wand but the magician. However, it’s made a difference in my power and control. Nuff said.
The ruby is exactly what I need. I swapped from the Selkirk power air, to this and the transition was super easy and fast. I have been using this paddle for about a month now. I get way more control and spin with this one. I was always overdoing the power and had tons of out balls. Now I can actually make it go where I want it to go with ease. Highly recommend this paddle, it's always sold out for a reason!
I have 2 DBD 14mm and have lead tape from the 4 and 8 o’clock down through the throat. The edge guard tape covers the lead tape and finishes off the paddle very nicely. Looks so much better than electrical tape. Very durable
Might as well call me a court DJ the way I’m able to spin it with the Ruby! Immediately it makes me a more dangerous player and confident with the offensive attacks at the kitchen. I can shape shots effortlessly (well, with some drilling of course), which allows me to go next level. ;)
Love everything about this Paddle!!! What more can I say!!
Good morning at this particular time, I haven’t played with it yet but my boy Jaume turned me on to your product and I very happy thanks 🙏
