The right opportunities don't come knocking on your door frequently. And even if it comes knocking chances are that you either don't notice it or it slips away just like that. Manifesting this, we at SHE Opportunities initiative under SHE GCEK are here with a curated list of opportunities that you should definitely try on. We bring you every month a plate filled with internships/fellowships/scholarships and the list goes on. Peep in so that you don't miss what is important!

1. Harvard WECode 2022
The Harvard WECode (Women Engineers Code) Conference is organized by undergraduate women at Harvard University and is an initiative of Harvard Women in CS. WECode hosts the largest student-run women in tech conference in the world.
It offers scholarships to cover the cost of the conference ticket up to 100% for those who are not unable to afford the ticket.
The deadline to apply for the scholarship is February 5, 2022.

2. Interact Fellowship
Interact is a community of driven technologists. It was founded in 2012 and every year the fellows meet twice annually for a fully-sponsored retreat, joining a community of technologists from around the world. This year they will be having their tenth fellowship cohort.
They look for diverse applicants who are (1) uniquely insightful, (2) open-minded conversationalists, and (3) risk-taking self-starters.
In order to apply, you must be between the ages of 18 and 23 (born after Jan 1, 1998), though they'll consider applications from 24-year-olds on a case-by-case basis.
The deadline for the application is February 15th, 2022 at 11:59 PST.

3. Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) Scholarship Applications for 2022 Are Open!
AnitaB.org produces Grace Hopper Celebration (GHC) in collaboration with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). GHC is the world’s largest gathering of women and non-binary technologists.
Those who attend GHC gain access to career and academic workshops, networking opportunities, inspirational role models, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Eligibility for Students-
You must be a student who identifies as a woman or non-binary, enrolled in an accredited degree program at a college, university, or high school at the time of applying.
You must remain a full-time student enrolled in an accredited degree program at a college or university at the time of the celebration (September 2022). Those graduating prior to the celebration are not eligible unless accepted to another related degree program (such as an M.S. or Ph.D. program).
Show satisfactory progress toward a degree such as, but not limited to, computer science, electrical engineering, human-computer interaction, math, physics, or management information systems.
Be able to demonstrate an interest in computer science.
You must be at least 18 years of age by September 19, 2022.

4. Asian Future Leaders Scholarship Program (AFLSP)
AFLSP awards up to 100 scholarships each year to high-caliber students from Asia to study away from their home country or region at leading East Asian universities. The program seeks to create an innovative educational platform, leveraging the advantages of intercultural communication, transdisciplinary learning, and a learning-by-doing approach to develop young scholars’ understanding of the value of cross-culture and diversity. The scholarship offers each student up to US$25,000 per year or a total of US$50,000 for the duration of the study.
Applicants can apply from March 1 - 15, 2022.

5. INST Research Internship Programme
The Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST) is an autonomous research institution of the Department of Science and Technology (India), which aims to promote the growth and outreach of nanoscience and technology for the benefit of the country.
INST Mohali provides an opportunity for exceptionally good undergraduate students to execute an innovative research and development project under the guidance of the INST faculty.

6. Charpak Masters Scholarships
This scholarship is designed for one to two years, (September – June, 10 months per academic year) of studies in France at the Master’s degree level for all streams and fields of study.
It offers a monthly living allowance of 700 euros, a Tuition fee waiver of up to 5000 euros, a Student visa, and Etudes en France fee waiver.

7. National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development Internship
National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development, popularly known as NIPCCD, is a premier organization devoted to the promotion of voluntary action research, training, and documentation in the overall domain of women and child development.
The internship is for Post Graduate (PG) and Research Students during their holidays. It offers Rs.2500/- per month for post-graduate students and Rs.5000/ for Ph.D. students.

8. Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology-2022
The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has started inviting nominations for the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar (SSB) Prizes in Science and Technology, each of value of Rs 5,00,000 awarded annually for notable and outstanding research, fundamental or applied in disciplines such as engineering.
Any citizen of India engaged in research in any field of science and technology up to the age of 45years as reckoned on 31st December 2021.
Nominations should be submitted in the prescribed format via email to ssb@csirhrdg.res.in on or before 31st march 2022

9. Türkiye Scholarships 2022 Applications
Türkiye Scholarships is a government-funded, competitive scholarship program, awarded to outstanding international students and researchers to pursue a full-time or short-term program at the top universities in Turkey.
Application Dates: 10 January – 20 February 2022
Türkiye Scholarships applications for 2022 will be received in one period, and applications will be open between 10th January- 20th February 2022 for international students from all countries.

10. Amazon Foundation for Excellence’s scholarship
The AFE- FFE Scholarship program aims to transform the lives of academically gifted and financially needy students, preferably girls from all over India by enabling access and support to Engineering, computer science, and related professional education
This scholarship will propel you to a successful professional career in a single generation, lifting your families out of the poverty cycle. This Scholarship is available to candidates irrespective of the applicant’s caste, community, or religion. 12. British Council scholarships for women in STEM
For the second year running, the British Council has launched a scholarship program in partnership with 26 UK universities with the aim of benefiting women from the Americas, South Asia, South East Asia, Egypt, Turkey, and Ukraine. We are looking for women with a background in STEM, who can demonstrate their need for financial support, and who wish to inspire future generations of women to pursue careers in STEM. Globally, female students’ enrolment is particularly low in Information and Communications Technology (three percent), natural science, mathematics and statistics (five percent), and engineering, manufacturing, and construction (eight percent).
Eligibility
For both Master’s Scholarships and Early Academic Fellowships-Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam students can apply. Applications should be made directly to the participating universities.

13.AI - ML Virtual Internship Program
With a vision to create an industry-ready workforce who will eventually become leaders in emerging technologies, EduSkills & AICTE launches a Virtual Internship program on Machine learning, supported by AWS Academy.
Who Can Apply:
a. Students currently pursuing BE, B.Tech, ME, M.Tech, MCA, Diploma, etc in any Engineering and Polytechnic Institutions which are members of EduSkills can participate in the program.
b. Students from Any Branch and Any Year can apply
c. Students must be available for a period of two months.
Internship Process Flow: 2 Months (8 Weeks)
a. Students need to register for this program through AICTE Internship Portal
b. The selected student’s list will be sent to the concerned institute authorities.
c. Shortlisted students will be enrolled on AWS Academy Portal and will be given Course access.
d. Students need to complete the course within 4 weeks by giving online assessments.
e. Students who successfully complete the online course will be assigned a project.
f. Students with the help of their faculties need to complete the project within 4 weeks and submit it as per the format (to be shared later).
g. During the project duration, Students will attend 4 days (8 Hrs) of mentoring sessions by Industry experts. Students will get 1 day (2 Hrs) career advancement session by Corporate HRs
