Believers, Partners & Builders Honored as Sportech Inc. Celebrates 25-Years of Incredible Success

May 8, 2018

Elk River, Minn. May 8, 2018 – It was an evening of celebration, friendship, and gratitude as Sportech honored those who played an integral role in building the business over the past 25-years. From those individuals who put their trust in the company early on; the companies who have been and remain integral to the manufacturing process; and the business partners who are an important part to the Sportech portfolio today; it was both a time to reflect on the past and look forward to the future.

The Sportech story is nothing short of an idyllic American entrepreneurial dream. From garage to two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, the company has experienced tremendous growth and success, all the while holding tightly to its small-town roots, values and delivery of world class results.

“We are so appreciative of everyone who has helped to build this business,” said Sportech Marketing Manager Taylor Carlson. “It was a wonderful night of celebration and it has really fueled us on our journey towards the next 25-years.”

Sportech owner and CEO Chris Carlson wore his emotions on his sleeve through-out the night, heaping praise and gratitude on every employee from past to present, and every individual and business who have helped in the company’s journey. Still, he along with his management team, gave special recognition to a distinct group who were especially important.

Bruce Schumacher (LeMans Corporation), Keith Johnson (Arctic Cat), Pat Matthews (Polaris), and Ron Inman (Polaris) were each recognized with a Believer Award for their early trust in the company. Key customers Polaris, Honda, and John Deere received Sportech Builder Awards and Sportech vendors Minnesota Bolt, PMC, and Covestro were recognized with Partner Awards.
