Still Falling for You

Rate this book
An emotional, angsty, second-chance romance from USA Today & Wall Street Journal bestselling author Siobhan Davis.

Once there was a boy, with messy blond hair, vibrant blue eyes, and the most dazzling smile, who helped to mend all the dark, broken pieces inside me.

Ryder made a bad situation better. Falling for him wasn’t just inevitable—it was the stars aligning and our souls connecting at the deepest level.

Plans were made, and for the first time ever, I had hope. I believed in the future we were going to build together.

Until he left, without even saying goodbye.

Years have passed, and though I have tried to move on, my heart still lingers on the boy who claimed it.

Now he’s back, saying he wants another chance.

And I’m terrified I’m not finished falling.

This book was previously published as Only Ever You. It has received a makeover and undergone a fresh round of proofreading, but the story has not changed.

Due to mature situations and some dark themes, this angst-filled romance is only recommended to readers aged eighteen and older. Some scenes may be triggering. Please read the note at the start of the book.

Imperfect Hero!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙💚🖤💜❤️
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎
Character development: 😳🤬😏🤓😎

The heroine: Zeta - she grew up with a mother that didn’t care and stepfather that turned her mother into a prostitute. She ended up in Juvie before her seventeenth birthday.

The Hero(es): Ryder - he had a background very similar to Zeta, though he has been in juvie for a much longer time. He refuses to tell anyone except his psychologist the real reason he was sent to juvie.

The Story: Ryder and Zeta have a connection from the moment their eyes meet when she enters the juvenile detention facility. Ryder has months left on his sentence and Zeta is put into the same unit as Ryder.

I don’t want to get too into the meat of the storylines since that will give too much away but to say that they experience ups and downs both while in juvie and once they are out. They end up apart and eight years go by before they meet again.

There was a lot I liked about this book, but definitely things I didn’t like. Ryder was a self destructive at times, and he seemed weak in others whereas I like the Hero to be strong and stand up to people like like bullies although there are reasons he didn’t.

It seems like Ryder spends too much time blaming himself for things that he really had no control over and wallowing in his failure to do more. When anger gets the best of him he ends up throwing a tantrum and either punching walls, punching people or breaking things, it seems somewhat childish. Though I do suppose that makes it more realistic since we know most real life rockstars would make far from perfect Heroes.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

I'm going to hazard a guess that "Only Ever You" will actually mean "I was in love with you while I was banging my way through the phone book." I would love to be wrong.

📚'STILL FALLING FOR YOU' 📚 Is a full length, second chance romance, stand-alone book by 'Siobhan Davis' Spoken in 'Dual perspectives.' Get ready to meet Ryder and Zeta

The 'Prologue' was brutal, it sucker-punched me leaving me gasping in its wake but was the perfect backdrop to this story.

Like only this author tends to do I feel and look like I've been pulled through the wringer with the angst these two put me through. The feels and the uniqueness of this storyline hit me straight away pulling me in effortlessly like a moth to a flame I was engulfed with everything these characters went through.

One look over the synopsis
One prolonged glance over the cover🔥🥵and knowing who the author was there was no question that I wouldn't sign up for this one.

This one was such a rollercoaster of a turbulent ride, emotional, gritty, raw, real, from the moment they met they fell hard, loved like no other, promised each other the world.

Then life came back and bit them hard.

Having to work in close quarters to each other after so many years apart was the catalyst of reconnecting and slowly coming back together from a bumpy road which threw up a few road blocks but making them stronger for it in the end.

I loved Ryder, the boy we're introduced to, innocence shrouded him, making it so easy to connect and love his character, it's the second part of their journey where I struggled to find that boy I was first introduced to, but it didn't take him long to redeem himself.

2 😔😔⭐️s

The first part was ok.
The main characters met 8 years later and I really don’t know how I managed to finish it!
I don’t mind if the characters have sexual encounters with other people since they have been separated. But when the hero says that every time he was with another woman he was always thinking of the love of his life, kill me now!! 🙄🙄

Exhausting, heavy book burdened with a heroine written as one who believes that the hero loves her so much because he has multiple sex partners whom he doesn’t even like because he can’t get over the h.

Obviously we can’t have a hero who doesn’t sleep around willy nilly while the Hxh are apart.
Obviously our h has to either remain virginal during the years they’re apart OR she must have shallow relationships/sexual encounters. God forbid she has any meaningful connections before the Hxh meet again.

The dark tone of the book is set within the first pages where the H is involved in a situation where a little boy is violently and explicitly murdered. On page. That’s a hard NO for me. Gratuitous violence at its best. Surely there are other way to show how broken your heroes are, Ms Davis.

The darkness, in various forms, just keep coming.
The lighter times are drowned out by the dragging oppressive mood of the hero and the book.

Hxh meet in juvi
He doesn’t wait for her after he gets out.
Meet up again 8 years later
He has demons and lots of women
She forgives

Another waste of time

A DNF at 40%. Another faithless manwhore, wow what a surprise! What stellar writing! Aren’t we blessed that this author was so lazy that she couldn’t give her character actual qualities and instead just had him screw women constantly. It jumps from him being in love with our heroine to the next scene with 3 women in his bed and him being ticked that the weren’t removed after he screwed them (insert eyeroll) this is his way of being loyal to our heroine. God forbid the guy just jack-off? I mean he literally says it’s just for a quick release. When will these authors learn that this isn’t sexy? We don’t need our hero to be questionably likely to have an std from all of the skanks he just had to stick his penis in. I like reformed manwhore stories in general, but not for a second chance. It cheapens the whole plot and makes me not believe his love at all. It’s one thing if he had went out with someone and tried to forget her or something. But the way this was written, he is just screwing randoms and then saying how strong his love is. It’s bull crap. Real alpha men can go without sex. They can abstain or just jack off for Pete’s sake! They don’t need a random hole to get off. That is a sign of a strong alpha man. When they are so weak and ruled by their penis that they just forget the heroine and get intimate with a random skank who would screw anyone, it’s a sign of their weakness. Who wants a weak hero? Of course the heroine is always weak. Usually we get unoriginal heroines these authors write where the heroine is a virgin or small sex life while she subconsciously waited for him. In this case she went the opposite way and has the heroine become a giant slut who only has one night stands to avoid growing attached. So either way, she let the “hero” control who she became. The author only did this to be gratuitous. The girl was raised being over exposed to sex with a prostitute mother, as someone who had a similar crappy childhood I find this whole angle offensive. Believe it or not you can have a crappy childhood, and not fire up to have to screw everyone that crosses your path. Most people I know who’ve been through this, take sex much more seriously. But why bother with authenticity right? Anyway, back to the plot... She will forgive him and won’t be bothered by this lifestyle in a completely impossible way will not ask questions etc. This whole thing is just stupid and boring... This could have been a decent story. Thanks for being a liar and tricking me by the way. The title of the book is literally saying it was only ever her, the summery implied it as well. Instead of sticking with that and writing an interesting and original-story, she cheaply copied every other rockstar novel. Just ugh!

As a huge Siobhan Davis fan and a huge fan of rock star romances, I was eager to dive into Only Ever You. Siobhan Davis has already wowed me with one rock star romance, Incognito, and I was ready to be wowed for a second time.

As with all Siobhan Davis contemporary romances, Only Ever You deals with a lot of heavy topics. It will not be a book for everyone, with there being a rather extensive list of triggers at the start of the story, but those who are able to deal with such things are in for an addictive read. Siobhan Davis hooks you with this one, and you’re unable to put the book down.

It is a story with numerous layers, one that has you turning the pages to see how everything comes together. Even when you know what is to come, even when you’ve worked things out, you’re desperate to see the specifics. It does not matter that you know things, you need to watch them play out. You’re sucked in deep, and it ensures you’ll devour the book in no time at all.

I will be honest and say the events entertained me more than the romance between the characters did. If I’m completely truthful, I never felt the intense connection between them that they seemed to. I think, however, what comes into play here is that I was born in the wrong generation. There’s a running joke with my friends that the only ‘D’ I’m going to get is my PhD, and I feel as though the relationship between these two focused a bit too heavily on the physical connection (or, at least, their desire for one) than on the feelings between them. As I said, though, I’m old fashioned and completely out of touch with people my age. As much as I love a good erotic scene (you just need to look at the amount of erotica I read to understand), I feel as though things came back to sex too often between these two for me to care about what they were really feeling for each other.

Outside of that, however, there was plenty of entertaining things to enjoy. When we were focused on these things, I really enjoyed the story. As I’ve already mentioned, there is a lot going on in this one, with so many layers to unravel. Even though the ending felt a bit too easy, things came together so well, with all the different strands playing out in wonderful ways. In fact, this one reminded me of one of my favourite rock star romances – Rock King by Tara Leigh – and had the same kind of drama I adored in that one. It’s no surprise I was hooked.

Although I will not be labelling Only Ever You my favourite Siobhan Davis read, it was an enjoyable read.

This is a hard review to write. Not because it was bad, its the complete opposite actually. It's so full of angst, emotion, and just over all suspenseful turmoil. I found myself not able to stop reading it. even with this book being a longer one, I found myself finishing it in 2 days.

This book follows Zeta and Ryder. It goes through several stages of their lives so you get the full picture and extent of everything going on. Your heart will continue to break as you read while also healing it. So much happens in this book that makes your jaw drop and wanting to close your eyes scared to know what happens next as well as having to know what happens.

My heart was definitely given a test as I kept reading. The emotions the author puts into this book will leave you gasping for breath. It all feels so read that you will have trouble coming back to reality once you set it down. It is so beautifully written with descriptions that will make you have a movie play in your head and you will forget you were reading in the first place.

Be ready for a beautiful ride and have some tissues handy. you will definitely thank me later for having them. This is a book you will hold onto for a long time and help you look at your own life in a different way.

OH THE ANGST AND HEARTACHE! Yet again Siobhan Davis delivers all the feelings with this effortlessly told, beautiful, moving, and unforgettable story about the unwavering resilience of the human heart. This is a love story that is not easy- it’s messy, it’s rife with heartbreak and torment, it’s brimming with emotional complexity and romantic complications, but it only makes the love at its core all the more epic. This second chance, rockstar romance is more than worth the battle it takes to find the happy ending, it’s a journey both painful and redemptive.

Zeta and Ryder’s love began as teenagers in juvie, both innocent of their crimes but both struggling deeply with their own emotional baggage. Neither have had easy upbringings or lives- and Ryder in particular is mired in a cumbersome myriad of personal demons, his emotional and mental health challenges that he’s trying to work through, as well as parts of his past he can’t escape. Their friendship blooms sweet and tender, and soon that bloom blossoms into a breathtaking love. But life tears that apart, and now years later, Ryder is a rock star, but still drowning in the wreckage of his past. Destructive behavior, ineffective coping mechanisms, and his rockstar lifestyle can’t seem to break his spiral. But reconnecting with Zeta, now a respected journalist assigned to do a story on the band, may shake his destructive vornado. But can they overcome the pains of their past? Is their love still there- after all they’ve been through? Can love stay the same when they have not?

OH MY HEART. Siobhan Davis wrecked me so keenly with her angsty love stories, and this is certainly one of her most beautifully tragic but powerfully redemptive stories to date. I felt both of these characters’ pain, their love, their triumphs and failures SO keenly. From the first word to the last, my heart was in knots. Again, this is not an easy romance. The angst- OH THE ANGST. These two have to battle so much- in themselves, in their worlds, their past and present- and even each other. They certainly suffer for their decisions, in their own agonies.

Siobhan’s emotional, angsty stories really showcase just what a powerful character writer she is- the ways in which she can build so many meaningful nuances, a dynamic substance in the characters whose emotions she so effortlessly helps us embody. They are flawed by redeemable, broken but resilient, complicated but relatable. And Ryder and Zeta are both so special as characters- compelling, sincere, magnetic in their vulnerability and admirable in how they survive. Zeta stole my heart- she’s overcome so much, but she still has such a big open heart. And Ryder- oh my soul, Ryder. This tortured, broken man. The rockgod who is drowning in his pain, his demons swallowing him moment by moment. His anger and torment often blind him, but his love for Zeta always finds a way to surface. And underneath it all, there’s just a sweet, loving man trying to find his way. Oh, and is this man SEXY- plenty of that alpha possessive rockstar swagger!

These two always find a way to save each other from themselves- and as they try to find their love amidst their demons, Zeta becomes Ryder’s salvation. Because his love for her is stronger than his self-destruction, than the darkness he battles. But, he also causes her so much pain, even if he never wanted to hurt her. SO many obstacles between them, but their connection is like the chorus of a love song- strong and loud, unforgettable, powerful, the heart of the story.

This is a passionate and moving story of second chances, of heartbreak and healing. The story of two people who despite the devastation they find in the world around them, and in their own hearts, they just can’t stop falling into each other- and so learn that is where the healing, the power, the hope always lies.

WHOA! Overload of too much of everything. Unbelievable and yet I kept reading -- it's fiction after all. It's down and dirty from the get-go. There's plenty of rocky road from start to finish. There are major shocks to absorb. The characters are certainly unique and sometimes questionable. There's a triple dose of livin' the "high" life. But there's also the sad and lonely side of an abusive childhood -- even a stint in juvie for both main characters. There's no way you can read this story without feeling compassion and sorrow for pretty much the whole dang cast of characters. A helluva ride! Not sure I'm ready for another like this in the near future.

Rock-Star Romance - you know I am definitely reading. Siobhan Davis writing said rock-star romance, no questions asked, no blurb needed - I am all in!!

Only Ever You is so much more than rock-star romance you are expecting. Yes. we have the arrogant, asshole rock-star singer who left behind his one true love. But their story is so much more than that.

Siobhan is an author who holds nothing back in her writing. She gives you an amazing story line with characters that you empathize with. But it's the heavy topics that she adds into her stories that make them stand out. And she doesn't just touch in the topic, she dives in deep.

Zeta and Ryder meet when they are teens and go their separate ways when they become adults. While there is an 8 year gap between part 1 and part 2, Siobhan does a great job of keeping the story moving and everything flows perfectly. While there are parts that I was not thrilled with, nothing truly pulled me away from staying immersed in this story and these characters.

Overall, I enjoyed this book so much. As you can see, I purposely made no mention of anything that happens in this book. Zeta and Ryder's story is one you have to go into with an open mind. While the blurb may seem like just another rock-star romance, I can assure you, it is not.

Siobhan's writing is very unique and her story-telling is one of a kind. Only Ever You showcases why she has quickly become one of my favorite authors to read and why her writing stands out from the rest.

Should have read the reviews first. The OW (while nasty as fuck...an eightsome?? Really mf’er??) weren’t even the issue. The plot revolving around the murder of a boy wasn’t redeemable in the way the author played it.

Siobhan Davis has just outdone herself! ONLY EVER YOU is proof that even a well-established, and highly talented author with her own signature style can shake things up in the best of ways! More than an angst-filled romance, this one has nailed every emotion and slammed it out of the ballpark of love!

Starting out in the worst of places for young teens caught up in the system, there is a tender and sweet romance budding in the most unlikely of places and I was melting with this “new” Siobhan twist….and then she pours on the hard times, the pain, the loss, feelings of betrayal and we are launched into romance hell. But have no fear, these characters have come of age, and they are fabulous!

Get ready for more than a romance tested and tested and tested again, get ready for a real, honest to goodness LOVE STORY that will set your heart to fluttering. Feel free to find tears in your eyes, or a lump in your throat for Ryder and Zeta, because life has been brutal for each of them, especially apart. Will the years they missed and the misunderstandings they have be too much to overcome?

Only Siobhan Davis could knot my insides like this and have me asking for more!

The queen of angst returns with a rockstar romance that will shred you apart. You will swoon, cry, cheer and pray for these characters.

Ryder and Zeta come together as teens, both with dark pasts, secrets and the most difficult of upbringings. They fight everyday to feel safe and protected. Their easy friendship is something they cling to. Each one each other's anchor in the stormiest of seas. They pledge and promise a life together where there is no more pain and peace is the only thing they will know. However, promises are easily broken and all that is left is the scarred hearts and shattered dreams.

When Ryder and Zeta's paths cross again, they have both moved on, Ryder a brilliant Rockstar and Zeta a music journalist. Fate has a funny way of bringing them together again. Ryder is the quintessential bad boy rocker, drinking, drugs, women. But nothing prepares him for having Zeta back in his life. His demons are fierce and she is the only one who can calm the storm that is Ryder's tortured mind. Zeta, has only been existing and not really living all these years. Ryder is her heart and soul and there is no denying the explosive chemistry that is Ryder and Zeta.

Overcoming so many obstacles is what holds them together, yet tears them apart at the same time. Siobhan Davis, does not hold hold back in her graphic depiction of the rawness of mental health issues and sex abuse. Her words will dig deep into your mind and heart and leave you burning through the pages to see what happens next.

An beautiful, suspenseful, gut wrenching read.

The first chapters were a shock. I found the subject matter abhorrent (especially in light of the author's comments at the end of the book) I was expecting a rock star romance and wound up slogging through a section about a jail and a main character that I couldn't bring myself to like. Not a book for me.

Only Ever You is an emotionally heavy novel about the power of first love, forgiveness, and mental health. Only Ever You follows two teenagers who fall in love in an unlikely setting only to be ripped apart. Eight years later, they’re reintroduced to each other as wholly different people than they were before.

As with all Siobhan Davis novels, Only Ever You tackles a lot of heavy topics. I would make a trigger warning disclaimer, but it would be a paragraph long list of almost every possible trigger. So, be warned.

Only Ever You is told in two parts, to which I am eternally grateful. The entire novel hinges on the main characters’, Zeta and Ryder, connection to each other because without it the story falls flat. Davis takes her time in developing the characters and their relationship slowly and methodically by giving readers an in-depth look into their past as opposed to simple flashbacks. Part two picks up eight years later and thus kicks off this roller coaster of a story.

The chemistry between Zeta and Ryder is hot. Their banter is sensually charged, yet playful and fun. Zeta and Ryder have two different relationships in this book, so experiencing the evolution of each is exciting and insightful. What plays a large role in their relationship is Ryder and is emotional baggage. Ryder is easily the most broken male character I’ve ever read. He deals with a lot of mental health issues throughout the novel, namely addiction, depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. This plays a significant role in how Ryder and Zeta interact and cope.

As a result of Ryder’s vulnerability and fragility, there is a lot of drama in Only Ever You. If you’re not a fan of drama in romance then this novel is something you should steer clear of. Only Ever You is almost a 400-page novel and most of it is filled with drama. It wasn’t until the last 20-30% where I became annoyed with the next hurdle thrown their way.

One of the things I disliked most about the novel was the dialogue. On one hand, the dialogue flows nicely with their sensual and fun banter. On the other, it stumbles often with its over the top declarations of love and longing. Most of the time it just feels extra.

Overall, Only Ever You is an emotionally hard-hitting novel that might not be for everyone. The first chapter sets the tone for the novel while delivering a sucker punch readers won’t see coming.

Zeta and Ryder met in juvenile detention and made promises to be together after they get out. Things didn't work out as planned, and Zeta and Ryder were left heartbroken and separated. They moved on with their lives until a second chance encounter brought them together again. Ryder is still haunted with guilt, painful memories, and the dangerous secrets of his past. He's on a downward spiral, numbing his pain with drugs, alcohol, and women, while on his way to the top of the music charts. Zeta, suffering from PTSD from her traumatic childhood, tries to move from her past with a massive hole in her heart that was left by Ryder. They might still be in love and have that magical second chance, but will it be enough for these two broken souls to try to make it work again?

I'm going to create a dedicated Siobhan shelf in one of my bookcases. I love her books and find myself never wanting them to end. This emotion-packed second chance, rock star romance was angsty and unputdownable. I loved Zeta and Ryder's dark and dysfunctional story. Both characters were perfectly imperfect and haunted by horrific childhood events that hurt my heart. I have to say I've read many of Siobhans' books, and I'm Still Falling For her page-turning stories every single time. Still Falling For You is one-click worthy.

FYI - This book was previously published as Only Ever You. It has received a makeover and undergone a fresh round of proofreading, but the story has not changed!

Siobhan Davis has done it again. 'Only Ever You' has ripped my heart apart, only to put it back together page by page.

This book is full of angst, turmoil, heartbreak, and heart-warming moments.  Everything you could want from a standalone contemporary romance, Only Ever You has it!

This book has touched on a lot of tough subjects, and there are a few sensitive topics that may cause triggers so please be aware before reading.

Only Ever You starts off with Ryder and Zeta meeting while they both are in juvie.

The connection between the two is instant.

Neither of them has any family and they rely heavily on each other to make it through their time there. Ryder is battling demons that only he knows about, while Zeta is trying to make it through her own turmoil.

The things both Ryder and Zeta have gone through and continue to go through during their time in juvie will break your heart. It's like they can't catch a break and just when you think it can't get any worse for them...it does.

I won't tell spoilers but demons from Ryder's past come back to haunt him and after he is released from juvie, Ryder and Zeta are separated.

Switch to 8 years later...

Ryder has never forgotten Zeta, Zeta has never gotten over Ryder.

Fate puts the two back in each others path BUT, those demons are still after Ryder and unfortunately, the heartache these two go through is just getting started.

There were so many times that Zeta probably should have walked away, but she saw the real Ryder and knew that he was better than the demons that haunted him. These two are the definition of true love and when times got hard even though Ryder tried to push her away, she hung on tighter.

I absolutely love Zeta, she might have broken a couple of times but she was such a strong character. Ryder, my poor sweet Ryder. There was soo many times that I wanted to slap him upside his head and hug him all at the same time.

"I love you," I lift my head up, staring into her beautiful eyes, eyes swimming in emotion like my own. "And I need you to understand that every song I've written, every word I've put to paper, has always been about you." - Ryder

I am a HUGE Siobhan fan, there is not much that she's written that I haven't read but I can almost say as far as standalone's go, this could be one of my favorites from her. As I said, Siobhan touches on some sensitive subjects and one, in particular, doesn't get talked about nearly enough so I'm really glad that it was a big part of this book. Only Ever You is definitely a 5 star read for me!

If you like angst, YA/NA, rockstar romances, then Only Ever You is the book for you!

I haven’t had this much of a book hangover since Inseparable. I must admit I didn’t think any book would come as close to it being the one that can break you down, make you think with all the feels, this one does! It’s my other favorite book! I have two now and both are by Siobhan Davis! That’s no easy feat for any author and in my book reading world it’s next to impossible! It’s true and this book is worthy of every single minute, hours and seconds that everyone takes to read this story. It’s not a simple boy meets girl type of book. This story has pain, agony, guilt, love, and most importantly realism. The unimaginable pain and agony these characters undergo are an essential part of their story. Ryder and Zeta, they meet under the most unfortunate circumstances but at a time that they both needed one another so completely. Their story begins in an unexpected way and to be honest I wasn’t sure at first how this was going to work. It was a pivotal moment in this book and it had to be told to understand just how Ryder and Zeta become the people they are at that point in time. They both recognized that they are meant to be together but the odds were stacked against them. A few years later Zeta and Ryder are reunited and the sparks immediately start flying! Ryder and Zeta’s connection reignites and they immediately realize that neither one wants to be apart from the other again. There are some mistakes and even a few heart stopping moments for these two but they try and make it work. At one point I wasn’t sure if I even liked Ryder but then I thought about what he’s doing and understood that this was a who he was. He was willing to do anything he could in order to keep the one person he loved safe at all possible. He won my heart and Zeta is absolutely perfect for him. They are beautifully broken and together they are perfectly imperfect. I loved this book so much and some readers may find some of it a little disturbing but please give this one a chance. This book was previously released under the title Only Ever You. I don’t think that it got the attention that it truly deserves! YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK! It’s everything and more. You won’t regret it! I received a complimentary copy of this book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a hard one for me to rate, but I've ultimately settled on a low 3 stars.

While I enjoyed the couple and their overall story, my main issue was that I found the matter of the prologue/ Ryder's character arc a little too disturbing and graphic for a romance novel. like I am seriously warning that it was awful and disturbing. I still think about it days after reading it, and not in a good way. It felt gratuitous, and ultimately there for shock factor, which I didn't appreciate. I love "dark romance" but this was not that in the traditional sense. BUT I kept trekking because I was drawn to the premis story, and what people had told me about it.

In the end I thought the connection between the couple was really well written and engaging, and I believed in them. However, some things were settled/forgiven a little too easy for my taste (Zeta turned into a bit of a pushover. blah.) and I thought the last part of the story dragged. I loved the first 50% of the book (minus the prologue), but it didn't keep it's draw for me throughout the whole thing.

I would encourage you to be wary going into this one/maybe do some research, but overall I did think it was a good read if you're looking for a soulmate type of love with a whole lot of angst.
