About this event

ABOUT

This year's TAF Varsity Luncheon 2024 is in person; however, for out-of-town guests, you can join the party by attending the livestream! Join us for TAF’s largest fundraising event of the year to see what we’re all about and how YOU can change the future of education.

COURAGE TO ACT

Raising the next generation of leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers is hard work. It takes courage. The courage to do what is right for kids, so that we may empower them, nurture them, and sustain them in their journey into adulthood and their careers. Taking action by bringing their voices to the forefront and centering students in their own learning to redefine what public education could be.

At TAF we continue to challenge the current system to teach students skills they will use throughout their life and career. We strive to build classrooms that are driven by student curiosity, where embracing failure is part of the process of learning. This work is hard, but we are committed to staying the course because kids deserve better from our school system. With your partnership, we can change how students are empowered, challenged, and encouraged in the classroom. Join us in standing up for our students and educators to create a new, better way of learning.

FAQs

What should I expect during the livestream of TAF Varsity Luncheon?

During the livestream of the in-person event, you can expect to see on stage:

-Hear stories from students and teachers about the education experiences YOU make possible.

-TAF co-founder and Executive Director, Trish Millines Dziko, will share what's on the horizon.

-Other inspiring stories from our TAF community.

How much does a ticket to the livestream cost?

This is a critical time in which you have the chance to change the trajectory of public education! Though our virtual luncheon is free, there is a suggested minimum donation of $200 or more.

I can't make it to the livestream or in-person event. How can I still support?

Show your support of equitable education by making a donation. $360 will cover a year of STEMbyTAF education for one public school student. When you join our monthly TAF Catalyst donor program, you can make that happen for just $30 a month!

Make a lasting impact on today’s youth and the generations that follow.

What type of registration ticket should I choose?

We've made registration easier this year. There is one ticket type for all — just be sure to fill out all fields before submitting your ticket registration. If you've been invited by a TAF table captain, select the name or organization during checkout. That way, we can let them know you're joining the watch party!

What kind of device is best to use when watching this year's livestream luncheon?

We recommend viewers to watch our luncheon on a desktop or laptop to ensure you can interact with the program. However, we've tested it out on smart tv platforms (Amazon Fire TV, Roku, etc.), and the experience works. We don't recommend viewing our program from your mobile device or tablet.
