Registration 2024

******

Thanks very much for your interest in the TEXADA AEROSPACE CAMP. Please note that we currently have a waitlist. But the camp roster is in flux, so please use the Registration Button below and be sure to include your youth's own expression of interest in the section entitled For the Camp Participant.

Anyone who signed up in 2023 (i.e., before this form changed versions) is still on the list for a call back, with no need to re-enter their information. If you sign up in 2024 before camp, you'll get a call back for 2025 and also get information about any open-houses and special events - some remote by zoom - for youth related to the Camp and to aviation & aerospace.

Also new this year is that families must bring their youth to camp and pick them up afterwards. We are sadly no longer able to accomodate a shuttle to/from Powell River but we are happy that we were able to do this for a decade.

Camp this year in 2024 will be from Wednesday July 24, to Saturday July 27. The fee is $220, but we make make every attempt that students with an interest in the camp will not be excluded due to financial hardship. If there is a financial challenge, please contact us at texaero2023@gmail.com.  All requests will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.

The purpose of the Texada Aerospace Camp is to immerse youth aged 10 to 15 years in the basics of aviation and aerospace sciences using unique training aids specifically designed and built by experienced volunteers – aircraft maintenance engineers, software developers, pilots and scientists, among others. It is a daytime hours only camp, with families responsible for getting their youth to camp and picking them up. Accomodations information will be posted to our website soon.

The curriculum consists mainly of hands-on learning, combined with select engaging presentations.

Check out our website for more information.
