UNAD Florida Scholarships

UNAD Florida offers scholarship opportunities for new, continuing, returning, and transfer students.
Scholarship eligibility is based on factors such as academic performance, course load, research involvement, UNAD alum, or economic need.

Scholarships Policy and Application Forms

This policy covers all aspects related to the scholarships awarded by UNAD Florida.

It includes the application and selection process, the benefits granted and the conditions to maintain the awarded scholarship.

All applicants will be treated with dignity and respect, providing the same opportunities to all students without regard to color, race, religion, sex, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or any other category protected by law.

Scope

This scholarship policy is a written contract set by the Academic Affairs of UNAD Florida which combines the Academic Dean and the Admission and Student Services areas, overseen by the Executive Director of UNAD Florida.

Purpose

This Policy describes the eligibility, requirements, and fundamentals aspects of the scholarship offered by UNAD Florida. This policy serves as a guide to understanding how our scholarships work. Students should receive and review a copy of the policy when a scholarship is awarded.

Awards and Requirements

All Scholarships are FINAL and must not be changed based on any circumstances. Awarded scholarships are applicable to tuition fees only. Keep in mind that the porcentaje of the scholarship awarded will differ based on the scholarship a student qualifies for.

Please read the policy thoroughly to understand how you may be affected by the terms of your scholarship. Please be aware of the frequency and time scholarships can be awarded since there are limitations.

Conditions to Maintain the Scholarship

Students who are awarded a UNAD Florida scholarship must comply with ALL the requirements of the scholarship during the time it is awarded:

  • Students must maintain a GPA above 3.0 throughout the program

  • Students must maintain enrollment in at least two periods per academic year

  • Students must be enrolled in at least three courses per term for undergraduate programs and two courses per term for graduate programs

  • Students must follow all regulations regarding attendance and code of conduct of the institution.

  • Once awarded, if a student does not meet the conditions to maintain a scholarship, he/she will receive a Scholarship Warning. UNAD Florida will allow one term in order to help the student meet the scholarship requirements and maintain its benefits.
