Four years of high school and they never hooked up. Might as well remedy that now that their both stuck in Rossview for the summer.
Carter Cooper: Big Man on Campus at Rossview High turned football star at Oregon until injuries sidelined him.
Jessica Womick: Rossview High cheerleader turned carefree A&M coed until family issues send her home for the summer.
He's found a new direction for his future; She's become the caretaker to a drunk.
These are not the directions they planned on taking, but when their paths reunite, they can neither deny their attraction nor their mutual need for distraction. Finding joy in the struggle is rarely easy, and when Jess's world tumbles into the unrecognizable, Carter sets out to prove that not everyone in her life will fail her.

Michele loves words. Funny words, inspiring words, dirty words, sad words. All the words. Use them wisely and kindly. Spin stories with them, mend fences with them, heal with them. Words are powerful. Words are forever.
I get so wrapped up in the worlds that Michele creates, and this one was no different. One of those books that when it’s over, you look up and realize that it was a book and end up missing everyone from Carter and Jess to Owen and even the twins. It’s amazing how intertwined the “From the Wreckage” series is yet you can still read some as stand alone novels, but when old friends show up, it’s always a great surprise!
“Let go.” My words brush against the shell of her ear, and her breath snags in her throat. “I can’t.” She raises her head from the crook of my neck and meets my gaze. Shadows darken her eyes. “I don’t know how.” I grin at the temptress sprawling across my chest. “Sure, you do. You just give in to it.” My hips roll, and she moves with me, the sensation rolling my eyes to the back of my head. “Then crash and burn? I can’t do that.” Curling her fingers into my hair, she tugs my attention back. “No one picks me up, Carter. No one saves me.” She said it earlier—she’s worried what’ll happen when this is over. My questions mount. This is supposed to be sex. Simple. What is she asking of me? What would I offer? Reading my confusion, she sighs. “I can’t lose myself,” she says against my lips. Swallowing her confession, my fingertips graze her spine. “You can with me.” My nose nudges hers. “I’m here. I’ll be here.”
Oh Em Gee! That was pretty much my reaction when I found out Michele G Miller had decided to come out with another From the Wreckage book. These characters and all of Rossview will forever be one of my favorite fictional worlds to fall into.
I absolutely adored everything about Until We Crash. From the stunning cover to the updates on the other FTW characters and the sizzling, emotional love story. Michele G Miller sprinkled her magical writing dust all over this story to make it the perfect combination of steam, emotion, and laughter. My fingers are now crossed that we will see more books featuring Owen, Finn, Frey, and Chase. Maybe even with a brother's best friend romance! *wink*
I am absolutely in LOVE with these characters!! Every single one. This book is jam packed with heart and humor and I never wanted it to end. I would legit move into that garage if I could.
Favorite Quote: "When Owen steps inside, my girl lays into him about never needing permission to walk into my house, but Owen doesn't pay heed to most of what she says, he's too busy cupping his large hand around her head and pulling her into his chest for a long hug."
I love Michele’s writing. This book has all the feels. Funny, sweet, steamy and swoon worthy.
“That grin should be trademarked because I doubt there's another in this world as sinful and delicious. He could sell Bibles to atheists with a wink and a grin.”
I go into every book the same way, completely blind. I've read Michele before and usually know what I'm getting. I did go in expecting some heat, but was not prepared for the fire the leaped off of the pages. Jess and Carter had chemistry from the word go. And when they finally got together... BOOM!!
I'll also add that I loved the sides characters in this book too. Those Irish twins, Finn and Frey. Yes, please. I wouldn't mind having a book for both of them.
Until We Crash is book 7 of the From the Wreckage series. However, this can be read as a stand alone in my opinion. I am a rule follower though and read the books prior. hehe. Do with that what you will.
