Virtual International Partners (VIP) Interest Form - Fall 2022
Thank you for your interest in the Virtual International Partners (VIP) program! This program connects international students with students attending San Jose State University (SJSU) for a semester-long virtual exchange. Participants are assigned partners and virtually meet for 5 sessions throughout the semester (for a minimum of 1 hour each session) to have discussions on a variety of topics (ex: food, holidays, school, music, etc.) and learn about each other. All participants must commit to the full semester and be available to engage with their partner on a regular basis. Conversations are held in English for approximately one hour each session, so participants are required to have a sufficient level of English proficiency to participate; it is recommended that students have TOEFL of 61 or greater, similar to the requirement for those applying to study for a semester at SJSU.
