Waiākea High School Summer Bridge 2023

Waiakea High School's Summer Bridge Program is designed to provide incoming ninth graders with a smooth transition to high school. The program focuses on key subjects such as math, English language arts, and science, helping students to build the foundational skills they need for success in high school and beyond.

In addition to academic instruction, the program also offers hands-on exposure to some of our career pathways through our various career academies. This gives students the opportunity to explore potential career paths and gain a better understanding of the types of jobs they might be interested in pursuing.

As part of the program, students will also have the chance to develop their leadership skills and engage with the school community. Current upperclassmen and recent alumni will welcome the newest Warriors and provide guidance and support throughout the program.

Overall, the Waiakea High School Summer Bridge Program is a valuable experience for incoming freshmen, providing a solid foundation for success in high school and beyond.

Through successful completion of the program (*pass/fail) students will earn 1 semester elective High School credit.

Program Dates: July 10-21, 2023

*To earn semester credit students must not be absent for more than 1 day and successfully complete course requirements. Students who fail to meet both of those requirements will not receive credit. Failure to do so will not affect a student's GPA
