How do you assess the Reading performance overall, now you've had time to reflect?

I thought we deserved something out of the game and I think that's beyond question, that we deserved to take something away from there. We just have to keep picking ourselves up and keep putting ourselves out on the line to go again.

You said on Tuesday Portsmouth away is a really good game to try to bounce back

Yes, it's a nice ground and there will be a good crowd in, with a really good atmosphere. If I was a player, these would be the games I want to play in. So, we certainly won't have any time to feel sorry for ourselves, or be down in the dumps. We are looking forward to the next one, which is a great one to have.

What have you made of Portsmouth so far this season?

They've started really well, with good results. A good attacking threat. Recruited one or two in the summer that have given them a slightly different profile. Portsmouth in League One, you are expecting them to be a top team and that's exactly what we are prepping for. We are fully respectful of them as a club and as a team. You want to go there, put the best representation of ourselves forward and hopefully we have a good Saturday.

How did everyone come through Tuesday's game at Reading?

Oli Hammond has gone for a scan today after being on the end of a really bad tackle, so we'll wait on that. Apart from that, normal bumps and bruises, but I think everyone else is okay.
