Warrior is the second book in the First to Fight series. The characters of Ben and Olivia are well developed, strong, and meant for each other. The storyline is heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time, with passion, a surprise baby, family, danger, suspense, intrigue, and a second chance for romance. The author handled the wartime injuries with sensitivity. I loved this book and cannot wait for the next one in the series. I enjoyed this book for many reasons but I also felt that it was one of those "You must take the good with the bad reads". I thought that the writing was really good and the story quickly pulled me in, held my interest and kept me right on the edge with lots of suspense. I really liked Ben and felt he was a very realistic character that was easy to feel for. Then we have Olivia. What can I say except I had a big problem with her. Sure I felt bad for her and yes, I wanted her to get that HEA with Ben because if anyone deserved a HEA it was them, but still somethings are unforgivable and unfortunately her big secret was one of them for me. Still, if you can try to ignore that as much as possible (as I did) or if it is just not a pet peeve for you this was a really entertaining read.

The second book in the First to Fight series a well written story with a very good storyline I will be reading the next book. MARSOC Operator Benjamin Hart and Olivia “Livvie” James his best friends little sister story. I like the way this book is set up in parts, and it has a great epilogue.
