How the “Kingdom of God” makes sense of

Scripture, Mission, the Church, and our Purpose.

Synopsis

When Jesus came, he announced the good news that the Kingdom of God is at hand (Mark 1:15). In Revelation, the voices in heaven declare that “the kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our LORD, and of His Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever” (Revelation 11:15). Come and gain a clearer appreciation of how we are to live our lives in service of our King, for the Gospel of the Kingdom of God in our time. We will work through these issues in community.

The Kingdom of God (KOG) as a framework for reading the Scriptures, understanding the Gospel, and making sense of the purpose of the Church.

30 July

The Church as the expression of the KOG today. How are we organized? How are we engaging the world? And to what end? Come and discern each one of our roles in the KOG.

6 August

The KOG in and out of Singapore: How did the gospel get to Singapore, and how is it going forth from the Church in Singapore in the present time? Discerning each one’s role in the KOG continued……
