About ASEAN-INDIA Hackathon

The ASEAN-INDIA Hackathon is a 36-hour fast-paced online competition to develop creative and innovative solutions on trending themes. The initiative is first sprouted by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, as Singapore-India Hackathon during his official state visit to Singapore back in June 2018.

The third run of the competition will be a collaboration between India and ASEAN countries to strengthen economic ties and development in education, science and technology. Participants from the various countries will not compete against each other; instead, they will work together as teams to vie for the winning spots while also developing cross-country bonds and get acquainted with each other’s cultures, values and work ethics.

NTUitive, the innovation and enterprise company of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore), is proud to be the official partner for the hackathon representing Singapore and in collaboration with India’s Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Education, AICTE and MHRD's Innovation Cell.
