This is the reason I have been limited on available cabins although for my first ever attempt to organise a cruise for The Axarquia Social Club, I will be more than happy to hopefully fill these cabins and set sail on the Med!

ABout the ship - COSTA FASCINOSA
Costa Fascinosa was launched in 2012 and then completely refurbished in 2018.
The ship is a tribute to theatre and cinema classics, each deck is inspired by characters, stories, and memorable works, such as Aida, Tosca and Dr Zhivago.
Costa Fascinosa carries a maximum of 3,800 passengers.

ABout the destination ports
Cartagena
Cartagena is a port city and naval base in the Murcia region of southeast Spain.
Founded by the Carthaginians around 220 B.C., the city boomed during the Roman period.
Among its many Roman ruins are a 1st-century B.C. theatre and Casa de la Fortuna, a villa with murals and mosaics.
The Muralla Púnica (Punic Wall) interpretation centre houses the remains of a 3rd-century B.C. defensive wall.

VALENCIA
The port city of Valencia lies on Spain’s southeastern coast, where the Turia River meets the Mediterranean Sea.
It’s known for its City of Arts and Sciences, with futuristic structures including a planetarium, an oceanarium and an interactive museum.

SAVONA
Savona is a port city in Liguria, northwest Italy. The 1500s Priamar Fortress houses the Sandro Pertini Museum, with works by Guttuso and Miró. A 17th-century statue of Mary adorns the medieval tower Torre Leon Pancaldo. The Ceramics Museum spans the 15th century to the present.
Savona is the main center of the Italian Riviera.

MARSEILLE
Marseille, a port city in southern France, has been a crossroads of immigration and trade since its founding by the Greeks circa 600 B.C.
At its heart is the Vieux-Port (Old Port), where fishmongers sell their catch along the boat-lined quay.
Basilique Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde is a Romanesque-Byzantine church.
Modern landmarks include Le Corbusier’s influential Cité Radieuse complex and Zaha Hadid’s CMA CGM Tower.

EXCURSIONS
I have managed to get discounted excursions for us all from Costa Cruises and will announce these if there is enough interest although I honestly believe you cant go wrong with the hop on and hop off busses which are available at every port for a price of roughly 19€ per person.
I will update this once this once we have enough interest to make cruise to happen.

In the event you can find this identical cruise, with the same accommodation and inclusions that are on offer, you will be refunded DOUBLE the difference.
insurance
It is a Costa Cruises condition of boarding the cruise that everybody has arranged for adequate medical and accident insurance together with cover for repatriation in the event of a medical emergency, COVID and specific cover for cruise holidays.
Travel Insurance including reimbursement of cancellation penalties (if caused by medical reasons affecting the insured, travelling companions or immediate family) , full medical, repatriation, COVID related issues, baggage, money, operator failure and cruise deviation.
Provided by InterMundial Travel insurance available for €49 per person.
payment schedule
- Initial deposit – €400 per person plus insurance if required, upon booking.
- Second payment – 25% of outstanding on 8 June, 2023.
- Final payment – Balance on 5 August, 2023.

Deposit, once paid is non-refundable.
If cancellation advice is received more than 90 days prior to departure – 25% penalty
More than 60 days: 35%
More than 30 days: 50%
