On Tuesday, it filed another complaint against Motorola in Seattle federal district court, this one alleging that Motorola has breached agreements to license certain wireless technology patents on reasonable terms. Motorola, according to Microsoft, pledged to charge fair royalties for patents adopted by tech standard-setting bodies, but has “instead demand[ed] royalties that are excessive and discriminatory.”
