Berks County Girls Softball League Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct is intended to guide Managers and Coaches of the BCGSL in carrying out this program. Before participating as an on-field coach, assistant, or manager of a BCGSL member softball team, you must agree to:
  1. Exhibit good sportsmanship at all times
  2. Promote good self-esteem and team unity
  3. Show respect for your opponents
  4. Show respect for the Umpires
  5. Take care of all facilities and equipment
  6. Prohibit alcohol and drugs from the premises at all times
  7. Prohibit smoking or the use of any tobacco products on the field or in the dugouts
  8. Prohibit the use of profane language and obscene gestures
  9. Deal with grievances in a civilized manner
  10. Complete official background check and obtain clearances in accordance with your organization's requirements
