Transition to Remote Learning Survey

Welcome to the Transition to Remote Learning Survey!

1. The goal of this survey is to better understand the lived experience of educators and administrators across the country who are working/learning/teaching in remote learning environments. The results of the survey may be used to:
  • Foster the development of tools and resources to support educators (i.e. through webinars, literature, blogs, etc.)
  • Develop further research on remote learning
  • Provide data secure grant funding for technology design, professional development, or other educational services
  • Inform current discussion of remote learning within CAST and with outside organizations
By completing this survey you indicate that you are an adult (18 years or older) who is involved in education (staff, teacher, administrator, etc.) and that you understand the goals and uses of data collected for your answers. You are consenting to CAST’s use of the data collected. Your responses will be used by the CAST research team to analyze educators’ experiences and to design future supports and resources. Your responses may also be used for educational purposes, such as sharing quotes at conferences, during teacher workshops, and/or in publications.

Please consider taking about 10-15 minutes to complete this brief survey to let us know what kinds of support(s) would be helpful to you and your learners.

Participation is completely voluntary. By completing this survey, you are agreeing/consenting for CAST to use information collected in our work and research.You may stop this survey at any time, for any reason. There is no penalty for not completing this survey.

Risks
There are minimal risks in completing this survey. To protect against the possible loss of confidentiality we have kept the survey anonymous, no names or other identifying information is asked for or collected. At the end of the survey, we invite you to share your email to participate in follow-up surveys. Should you volunteer to share your email, your email will be replaced with a code to protect their identities once data collection has been completed. Please note: If you do not complete this survey, researchers will not use any of your responses and will consider not completing the survey as not consenting.
