Aside from completing an enrollment application for Medicare online, one of the biggest benefits is your ability to pull up your Benefit Verification Letter. This letter shows your Medicare Number and Medicare Part A & B start dates, which is very helpful when enrolling in Medicare very close to your desired transition date. You can access this faster online than you can receive your Medicare card via US mail.
