The Lawless have been many things:

My friends,
My enemies,
And now my lovers.

All but one…
Neo Saint—my villain dressed in leather with the body of a god and a heart made of stone.

He blames me for his misfortunes.
Wants me to feel his pain.

It’s time he learns I’m not who he thinks I am.
Someone is out there,
opening old wounds and creating new scars.

It won’t be easy bringing these twisted secrets to light,
but it’s the only chance we have of freedom before the darkness consumes us all.

The games might not be over,
but I’m no longer playing alone

This was the perfect conclusion to the series where corruption at its truest form took us on a twisted journey of uncovered secrets.

I was hanging out for Neo’s story waiting with bated breath to uncover the reasons why he despised her so much with a finger pointed towards one person.

These boys had our heroine twisted in knots, and then throw Neo into the mix was a bit of a clusterfuck as she unraveled her feelings towards him and vice versa.

A story of why chose one when you can have all three.

We get the conclusion to the Bastards of Boulder Cove series with Twisted Secrets. The title is very fitting! All the lies and secret are brought to light. I enjoyed this book, but it wasn't my favorite of the series.

The chemistry between these characters was never lacking. Scar, Crew, Jagger and Neo. They are messy, chaotic and so very human. Twists you didn't see coming involving them all.

I loved getting all the different POVs in this one! It was needed. Looking back into Neo's upbringing helped you understand where he was coming from for most of the series.

Excited to see what else Rachel has in store for us in this world!

Closure on the Boulder Cove mystery -- who is the person stalking and trying to hurt Scar and why does Neo hate Scar so much? Who pushed best friend Maddie? As well other revelations.

For me, this book is best read as romantic suspense, plot-driven, though the plot felt unwarranted extended.

Here's what I liked about the story:
- characters -- Neo, still a bit of a jerk, a favorite (love a bad boy) and sweet Crew; Riley, the ultimate best friend.
- depiction of Neo's point of view, loved the insight
- sub-arc of intrigue (which, unfortunately, overshadowed the why-choose romance)
- twists (though not unexpected), including the reason for Neo and his father's hatred
- why-choose relationship trials and angsty choices, a bit of blackmail
- sexual tension
- Neo and Scar interlude
- vivid, snowy and scenic setting

I was a little less keen on:
- Maddie, the original best friend. Rather than feeling sympathy for her, I felt annoyance. Not an endearing character, I couldn't get behind her stances, especially in light of everyone's catering to her. Follow your heart, she advised. Too convenient a wrap up rather than having her face that she couldn't have what she wanted.
- ease of reconciliation of Neo and Scar. It wasn't as organic as it could have been given their positions and Neo's behavior to date.
- mostly, the unconvincing and not strong enough a reason why Scar was targeted
- spice, as in it was not spicy enough (2/5). A why-choose romance, with one group scene -- and at the end. The entire series lacked spice, actually. I get it that it was more plot-driven, but I still found the sex very lacking toward enriching the lengthy storyline.

Overall, good. I was always curious as to the outcome, and Neo captured my interest the entire series. I needed more active plot progression, more spice, and finally believably in the story premise.

“But I always catch you. You run and I chase, and in the end, I win.”

Twisted Secrets is the third & final book in the Bastards of Boulder Cove trilogy, & we finally get Neo's POV.

To say I've been excited about Neo's story has been an understatement & it did not disappoint. Neo is known for being the grumpy moody alpha male, since the beginning of the series he can come off like an ass. But he's far from that, I love getting inside his beautiful tortured mind, seeing the issues with his family & really why he acts the way he does. He's far from the person that we think he is, I loved his character development & really breaking down his walls & seeing him fall in love him & really just being happy.

We finally found out who in this book who has been sending the notes who have been stalking Scarlett throughout the series. Tons of secrets were revealed. Between the plot twist & the twist & turns in this book, it had me on the edge of my seat.

I have loved this series & this ending was everything I needed, there was also some really sweet moments & I'm so happy for Scarlett & her boys. We finally got moments with the group, Rachel I just want to say the spice in this book, girl.🥵 But this series has mystery, tons of sexual tension, secrets, brooding alpha males & spice. And I will say I fell in love with each one of these guys in the series, but I think Neo ended up being my favorite & Scarlett is such a badass, especially everything she's been through.

I'm sad to say goodbye to this group, but I'm excited about the prostate of Rachel bringing more to the series in 2023. And thank you, Rachel, for the arc & letting me read this early.😘

Tropes: why chose, college romance, stalker, secrets society, true enemies to lovers, & RH.

The final book is here!!!! You don't have long to wait; this will be released on November 30th. And it was revealed that this won't be the last of Boulder Cove! More is coming in that universe in 2023 and I'm definitely curious.

Telling you almost anything about this plot could be a major spoiler, so I'm going to skip the summary and say that all of the mysterious from the first two books will be wrapped up. The Becketts, the stalker, what happened with Maddie. And there is lots of steam with Scar and the three Lawless. Oh so much deliciousness...

The first book focused on Crew, the second on Jagger. Finally, finally it is Neo's turn. The sociopath I absolutely love. He crumbles in the best possible way and I freaking loved it You get a lot of excellent Neo PoV sections and they were worth the wait. Plus when he and Scar get together... oooooo.

The only negatives to this book were the extended dramas. Everyone overreacts to everything, but they are 18, so I guess that is to be expected. There also are a lot of soap operaesque twists. However, fans of the first two books know to expect this. This series is about the dramatic reveals, the secrets and all of the steam. It brings it.

The last thing I really liked was that the guys didn't just automatically want to be in a reverse harem. You see that so often, but in real life it wouldn't go that smoothly! It doesn't here and that felt realistic. You have to push aside realistic expectations for many things- their special house, their ages, the society, the social setup etc- but it was cool to have this detail.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I loved that each book focused on one boy and especially loved this one because I was so excited to see Neo and his development! and it did not disappoint!! I loved how each relationship was explored and Rachel did such a good job of making me fall for all the boys. the final installment of bastards of boulder cove had twists and turns I wasn't expecting and it kept me hooked!!

Twisted Secrets is the third and last book in the Bastards of Boulder Cove trilogy, and it could not have ended more perfectly. I'm still sad though, I don't want to live without these 3 men. Neo Saint being the main focus on this book was great, and just what was needed. The progression Neo has shown throughout the trilogy, going from being haunted and closed off, to showing his demons, opening up about his past and being able to admit and embrace his feelings for Scar was all I wanted for him.
Not only Neo's progression, but the personal growth and character progression of all the characters has been amazing. Each one has fought their own battles and demons in order to let each other in and remain a found family. Growing and developing together, although in some ways staying just who they are, makes the characters so much closer than they were at the beginning of the trilogy. growth in all the characters over the course of the trilogy has been great. Seeing the anger between Neo and Scar, not really changing, but evolving into something greater, but incredible. The sexual tension between them both just rose and rose, and I was buzzing with excitement when it finally crested.
Scarlett has remained a badass throughout this trilogy, and I'm glad she didn't lose that at all. She is still never afraid to take a stand and fight for what she wants and believes in. She refuses to be shamed, demands to have the respect she deserves and makes damn sure she gets everything she wants in life. I related to Scar so much, and the soft scenes between her and her family showed so much vulnerability, and a side of the society I wish was more prevalent.
The reveal in this book was something I had never anticipated, even though I had spent a lot of the past 2 books theorising about what was happening. I was so incredibly shocked, but it was so well written, and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Finally getting the answers I needed and finding out what happened to Maddie was a huge breath of relief, despite the twists, turns and huge uncovered secrets.

Twisted Secrets was the perfect end to this perfect trilogy, and it is not the last time I'll be delving into the world of these characters. I opened this ARC and read it all in 4 hours. I could not put it down at all. I will recommend this series until I'm red in the face.

"𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐’𝘮 𝘯𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦."

The final instalment in Boulders Cove but hang on to your knickers people because the mystery, intensity, lies and truths will be clear and holymotherofdarkness it is beautifully delicious and will leave your jaw hanging wide the heck open.

The passion, chemistry and steam is utter perfection *chefs kiss* i honestly love the chemistry that oozes of the pages.

The lawless boys themselves, cue drooling:

Neo you bad brutal hunk of a man, you stole my heart and I'm allfrigginforit. I love the vulnerabality yet alphaness Neo has and honestly everyone loves the bad boy!

Jagger and Crew these guys had my heart very early on and each of them literally make you swoon and have your heart fluttering but the characters growth in the books is phenomenal and keeps real to them.

My girl Scar damn i love her fierce and sassiness. She slays within this series and her utter honesty and badassary vibes is well and truly needed to keep the boys in tow.

This is the ultimate conclussion to the series and Boulders Cove but have no fear more is coming to the world of Boulders Cove. I absolutely LOVE Rachel's writing and books and this series does not disappoint.

Well, the Bastards of Boulder Cove series has come to the end and I’m sad. I loved it. It was the perfect conclusion and it felt so right that Neo Saint was the last book. The character progression whilst not losing his cruel personality was perfect. Our haunted boy, showing his demons and looking past them finally to embrace his true feelings for Scar was everything. My heart swallowed that up so damn fast.
Neo is without a doubt my favourite boy, but Crew and Jagger are also exception each filling a different hole in Scars (and mine!) heart.

I had to laugh because Rachel definitely pulled a fast one because every theory I had in Savage Games was blown out of the water. The whole reveal was something I had never considered!! That many twists and turns I got whiplash.

My baby Scar, in one school year she went from being a very angry and tortured soul to one hell of a journey about discovering who she is and embracing her feelings about the 3 dreamy Lawless men. I love her. She’s such a relatable main character and one that I feel mirrors me.

I’m not ready to say goodbye to them, it’s definitely a series I’ll reread again!

Not even half way into this book I was yelling at my kindle. The third and final installment in the Bastards of Boulder cove series. There was a lot of twist and turn. I’m so glad I finally learned why Neo had had a stick up his a$$ this whole time. I knew it was gonna be a dumb reason. I really enjoyed the journey that these characters went on. I think I wanted a little more about Maddie. I was wondering what would have to happen to make me like Neo…. I don’t like him as much as Jagger and Crew but I’ll tolerate him. Can’t wait to see what Rachel brings us next.

3.75 stars! The ending I saw coming in Book#2 but as though this was predictable it was a wild and sexy time! Reverse Harem is always a steamy time I mean who doesn't want 3 Hot Guys all over you and want to just make you drip with desire everyday!

Again this series gave off Pretty Little Liars vibe but with Guys, smut, academy shenanigan's, mystery it was a fun time with this series, definitely felt immature/adolescent in some scenes but the last book made up for it, the ending felt a bit rushed!

Review to come but I’m so happy over this book. Also… chapter 28?! Are we kidding????🥹❤️‍🩹

Review!!👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

I am so delighted I was able to read an eARC of Twisted Secrets by @rachelleighauthor !!!! This is the third book in the Bastards of Boulder Cove series. Now that I’ve completed the trilogy I plan to do a series review so keep an eye out for it!

“Where the fuck is the challenge?  Her. She’s the challenge. My conquest. One I’ve been watching and waiting to destroy.”

Oh Neo…. You are so beautifully broken. It was such a joy reading your story and learning about your innermost demons. Soooo worth the wait for you to break down your walls. Neo is the kind of bad boy (a$shole) you root for from the very beginning, and the reason we read fictional men full of red flags. There’s so much I could say but I just don’t want to spoil this rollercoaster for anyone!

And what a rollercoaster this book was! So many plot points have come full circle and all the twists and turns have played out. Chapter 28…. I’m not over it. I’ll read it over and over forever. Chapter 31?? 🥵🥵🥵

I gotta say the spice in this one was the best yet. Scar gets down and dirty with her own little harem and it’s delicious. Rachel totally kicks it up a notch in this book!!! I am so happy to see the whole group become one happy family. The growth in these characters was beautiful to see given the pattern they had to break.

I am so excited to see where we are headed next. Hopefully some BCU action!!

Read this series if you like:

•Why Choose
•dark/bully romance
•stalker vibes
•secret society
•enemies to lovers
•childhood friends to lovers

“Try to fix me. I dare ya.” 🫠

Thank you so so much @rachelleighauthor for a chance to read an advanced copy. I downloaded this series from one simple unhinged quote on a tiktok and became totally consumed in the storyline.

Available November 30th on Kindle Unlimited!! But start the first book now!

So the epic conclusion. And what a book it was. The love. The hate. The angst. The betrayal. The shock. All of it was here and I was hooked. Yes, I did solve the mystery but it was so intriguing I had to know. What happens with scar and neo, jagger, and crew. The ups and downs they face. The hurt. I loved every second of it. I adore Riley and her relationship with scar. I’m so happy there was such a prominent girl gang. And speaking of, scarlet was such a dominant fmc. She had a backbone, which I loved. I’m so sick of weak spineless FMC. She would say what is on her mind, defy the ‘lawless’ and quite honestly do whatever she wanted. The ending to this book was *chefs kiss* I could not have scripted it any better. I would reread this series in a heart beat. The mysteries that happen and get solved are jaw dropping. I could not recommend this enough! This series, must read!

Twisted Secrets
by: Rachel Leigh
5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
3.5/5 🌶🌶🌶

" Aside from that, she doesn't know how hard I've trained my mind to dislike her, because a tiny space in my heart says she isn't so bad."

Damn you all are not ready for this book!😍😍

The final book of The Bastards of Boulder Cove, Gives us all the unspoken truth, the secrets, and the twist that is going to have your jaw to the floor. And Noe POV is just *Chef Kiss* 😍 All the questions were answered for sure, but I got so much more, his feelings, his rejection and why is the way he is. Was beautiful to read. He def has a soft spot in my heart. A hunted boy who was treated so bad by his father, A tormented boy who couldn't do nothing but listen to his fathers lies. I did not root for him, but he redeemed himself for sure in the end.

The tension?! 🥵 The chemistry?! 🤯 The fucking hate and bickering between those two?! FUCK! ITS WORTH THE WAIT😍😍 Rachel brought us so much with this two. I feel in love.

I did not expect the ending to go like that, with so many twists and turns. I gave up on guessing what the fuck was happening. I trusted Rachel to give me all the answers in timely manner. And she did and fuck it was so mind-blowing!

The boys, Crew and Jagger, and Scar have one of the best connection. The unfortunate truth lead them to make some heartbreaking decisions. But with their love and bonding, it did not last long.
All four came together beautifully. I couldn't have asked for a better ending!

Thank you so much Rachel Leigh for Providing me a ARC of this book 🥰

What a conclusion to the series! I was SO excited when this showed up on my kindle. I flew through this book; I couldn’t take it in fast enough. Of course, I was sad when it ended but dang, what a finish it was. Scar is still trying to figure out whom her stalker is while at the same time working on her relationships with the guys. Crew and Jagger are still struggling to share her, and we all know Neo is an @$$. I will say that Neo brought me over to his side with this final book-took long enough though! He actually becomes semi-human and things between him and Scar begin to change. It’s a slow process, and he’s still an @hole when all is said and done, but I ended up loving him by the end. I was shocked when I found out who the stalker was, usually, I can sort of guess (not that I’m great at it) but this time I had no idea. There is a ton of excitement, spice, angst, and so much more. The push and pull between Scar and the guys make for a great read. If you’ve started this series, you absolutely must read this book because it’s SO good! If you like darker, why choose books, this is for you. This is the first series I’ve read by Rachel, but after this, I will be reading more from her. I love her writing and her ability to tell a fantastic story, plus the delicious steam doesn't hurt. I can’t wait to see what she writes next!

The perfect end to the trilogy. I had guessed one of the plot twists but the way it played out and came about was still great. I was *not* expecting who it was that was behind everything though but once you find out, it makes sense and that reveal scene had me gasping.

I love that Scarlett is still the bad bitch she has always been, she's not afraid to stand up to these boys and knows what she wants. She won't be shamed and she will be respected. I really liked the little scenes between her and her parents, they represent a softer, more tolerable side of the society. She's a character that i can definitely relate too as well as desperately want to be her friend.

Having Neo's POV was everything I hoped it would be. He finally realises he has been manipulated by his father and allows himself to see his feeling for Scar for what they really are, love not hate. The anger between them has always been so thick with sexual tension but this book was next level. I loved seeing his tortured soul finally let her in and allow himself to love her and be loved by her whilst also being the asshole we know and love him to be. His soft romantic moments felt all the more sweet coming from him and it was just everything.

The growth in all the characters over the course of the trilogy has been great. They have torn down their walls to allow each other in and will do all they can to protect what they have now. They haven't changed much but they have grown and developed together. Also, that final group scene was h o t 🔥 Can't wait to see what more comes from Boulder Cove 🙌🏻

This book was so good and such an intense ending to the trilogy. Rachel really proved herself yet again that she’s a queen with her books and I am so here for it.

This book was everything I wanted yet kept me on my toes the entire time. I felt so many emotions reading this. I yelled. I cried. I said “damn this is so hot” more than once. I didn’t know what was going to happen or how this series was going to end, but I knew I didn’t want it to.

This book was amazing and I definitely fell hard for Neo.

secret society, enemies to lovers why choose goodness

As the final book in this series I was so excited to see what would happen with Neo, Crew and Jaggers friendship and how Scarlett and the guys would continue their relationship. I’ve loved the previous books and I’m so happy these have a happy ever after, for now. I guess we get to see how this relationship will work in BCU. Neos attitude adjustment seemed to take a long time and then he ‘flipped a switch’ and had a 180 personality change. There was spice and secrets being revealed throughout this. I feel like a lot of information was crammed into half a book but also satisfied with all the answers we got. If you’ve read the previous books this is worth reading for the lead up to the next books

The first book in this series was definitely my favourite. This wasn't bad per se but it was very anticlimactic.

I love each of the guys, even Neo, and I'm glad we got a happy ending but it felt very rushed! I really wish we had more of Neo after things changed between them.

Also, the whole final reveal was really boring and short. It wasn't unexpected but I wish that it had been more dramatic or built up.

I absolutely loved this. This was the perfect conclusion for the Bastards of Boulder Cove's trilogy. I loved that Rachel finally gave us Neo pov's and Scarlett and him had the perfect evolution.
About the big secret of the trilogy, I absolutely didn't expect this oh my god. Rachel totally fooled us but I love her for that.
I love how Rachel did the relationship between Scarlett, Crew and Jagger and that they understand that despite everything Scarlett will always need Neo, each of the boys give her something different and so they complement each other in the perfect way.
I have nothing else to say, just that Twisted Secrets was perfect and I love with all my heart my boys and Scarlett.

What an ending to an amazing trilogy!

I absolutely loved this series and these characters and i'm so sad that it's over. Neo is officially mine after reading this book. He is still an asshole and the biggest bully but he redeems himself and made me love him. Scar, Jagger and Crew still have their stuff going on and I am here for it. I love that in this book Neo comes out of his shell and finally stands up to his father.

We learn more about the stalker and the motive behind it. I honestly could not believe who it was but honestly when you found out why it made sense even if it shouldn't have been an issue in the first place.

I loved that Neo saved Maddie and kept her safe after everything that happened to her. She is so strong and resilient.

I am so glad everyone go their HEA.

What an amazing end to a series!

Thank you to Rachel Leigh for providing me with the ARCs for this series, I’ve has such a fun time getting to know all these characters, and I’m going to miss them so much.

If you’re a fan of Dark Romance I’d 100% recommend giving the Bastards of Boulder Cove series a go. It was giving me similar vibes to the Devil’s Night series, by Penelope Douglas.

I’m so excited to see what comes next from Rachel Leigh and the Boulder Cove universe.

The perfect conclusion to this trilogy.

Get ready for a story full of twists and turns- I spent a lot of time picking my jaw up off the floor!

Hold on because this story will keep you on the edge of your seat as secrets are revealed and relationships evolve. It was really great to get Neo’s POV and to see him grow as a character- because let’s be honest he’s an a$$. Scar went through it all in this series and seeing her get her HEA was everything I hoped for. You will get the perfect amount of suspense and steam with this one, it’s definitely an automatic one click.
