I just created my space, now what?

✏️ Setup your space! Click "Design this space" on the left-hand side. From there, you'll give it a name and have the ability to start using it and making it your own.

🎨 Decorate! Customize the colors, the background view, music, add a custom button, etc. These spaces are fun when visitors get a peek into your style/personality when they come over.

✉️ Invite friends over - Invite your audience/community/friends or crew to co-work or hang out with you :) Change the mode to Cafe or Conversation if you want to chat.💡 Pro-tip! Tweet out your space's link when you want to have friends over. Guests can join with a single click.

How do I customize my space (background, colors, music + more)?

1. Once you've entered your space, open your Design Tools by clicking on the ✏️ icon on the top left of your screen.

2. Inside Design Tools you can do things like:

   • Update the design (background image, colors, logo)
   • Update music and ambient sounds
   • Choose a theme from the Workfrom theme library
   • Create a theme of your design and save it to your own library
   • Add a custom button
   • Add a question to ask your visitors
   • Customize your URL (premium feature)

   Also inside design tools is an “Edit Space Settings” button. From here you can:

   • Change the name of your cafe and space description
   • Turn off arrival sound, disable chat, & remove Workfrom branding (premium feature)
   • Upload link preview image for when you share your cafe link (premium feature)
   • Customize messaging (premium feature)
   • Allow others to share their screen (premium feature)

Why can't I talk to others in my cafe like I do on a video call?

Your space must be in “Silent” mode! Silent mode is mostly used for coworking – a way to be around others but not for chatting.

Change the mode using the button on the left. If you want to use voice in your space, turn on either "Cafe" or "Conversation" modes.
