If you’re eager to dive into the world of decentralized finance (DeFi) on the Solana network, the first step is setting up your Phantom wallet. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process so you can get started with WSBS hassle-free.

Step 1: Installing Phantom Extension

Phantom is a sleek Solana wallet extension available on Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers. Start by clicking here https://phantom.app/
Click download, and simply click “Add to Chrome” and follow the prompts to install the extension.

Step 2: Setting Up Your Wallet

After installing Phantom, you’ll spot its icon on your browser toolbar.
Click it to open the Phantom wallet interface. If it’s your first time using Phantom, you’ll need to create a new wallet. Just hit “Create New Wallet” and follow the instructions to generate a new wallet seed phrase.
Remember to keep the seed phrase secure — it’s your ticket to accessing your wallet.

Step 3: Accessing Your Wallet

Once your wallet is set up, you’ll be directed to the main Phantom dashboard.
Here you can view your wallet address, check your token balances, and explore the Solana ecosystem.
Your wallet address acts like your bank account number on the blockchain for your Solana coins and tokens — it’s what you’ll use to send and receive tokens.
