Arrival & Departure

• You are expected to arrive at the hackathon venue by 2 PM IST on Friday, 9 Feb. Hacker check-in will begin at 2 PM and your timely arrival is critical in ensuring that you don’t miss important sessions such as the opening ceremony and workshops. Being late to the venue may lead to a late team check-in.
• Additionally, please make sure to visit the check-in desk along with all your team members. We will NOT be checking in individual members.
• Plan your departure wisely! The estimated departure time from the venue is 7 PM IST on Sunday, 11th Feb. Book your return travel tickets accordingly to ensure you don't miss the Closing Ceremony, where the final winners will be declared.

How to reach the venue?

There are multiple ways to reach the venue. Depending on your mode of transport, you can find information below on how you can travel from your arrival location to the hackathon location.

The nearest airport to the venue is **Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad (AMD) (18.6 KM).** So if you choose air travel, then the best way to reach the venue is to either book a cab or auto from the airport to the venue.

The nearest railway stations to the venue are **Gandhinagar Capital Railway Station (7.3 KM)** and **Ahmedabad Junction Railway Station (Kalupur Railway Station) (22.3 KM).** You can either book an auto or cab from the station to the venue.

There might not be a direct bus from your city to Gandhinagar, so take a bus to Ahmedabad, **Gita Mandir New Bus Stand (or Adalaj Chokdi Bus Stop)** which is 25.8 KM (or 9.3 KM) from the venue. You can book an auto or cab from there.

Layouts & Logistics Information

Venue Building Layout

• After you reach the venue (Karnavati University - BBA New Campus), you can enter from the main gate of the campus.
• First things first, you would need to get your team checked in for the hackathon and collect your ID cards, wristbands, swags, and welcome kit.
• For check-in take a left towards the garden and report yourself at one of the three designated check-in desks according to your team name (alphabetically)
• Once you are checked in, kindly make sure to wear a wristband on your hand and an ID card provided to you all the time during the event. If found without any of this will straight lead to the disqualification of your team.
• Head over to the Hacking Hall - i.e. on the 5th Floor. Our team will guide you to find the way to lift from where you can directly go to the 5th Floor (DO NOT USE STAIRS if not emergency).
• We have a dedicated resting area for Men in the basement (you can use the stairs near the reception to go to the resting area). For men, you can keep your luggage in the classrooms in the basement.
• We have a dedicated resting area for Women on the 6th Floor. (you can use the left-side stairs on the 5th Floor to reach the area). For women, you can keep your luggage in the classrooms on the 6th Floor.
• Every time it is meal time (Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks, Dinner), we will make an announcement in the Hacking Hall and will send hackers in batches for the meals in the Garden Area to enjoy good food and spend some time in open-air close to nature. Make sure you finish your meals and get back to the Hacking Hall ASAP.
• Note: It is very important for you to know that you CANNOT wander around the venue campus in the areas marked with 🚷 on the map layout. If caught by security, there can be consequences.

5th Floor Map Layout

This is the area where you will be spending most of your time during the three days. Kindly look at the map in-depth and get to experience the venue setup virtually.

• Hacker Area: This is the area where you can find a table for yourself and your team. There are seven rows in total, so kindly find a comfortable place at your convenience. We recommend not skipping any chair in between so everyone can fit it right well.
• Sponsor Booth Area: Connect and network with our partners and sponsors in this area right outside the Hacking Hall. Visit their booth and learn more about their product, company, and anything else you would like to explore. Our partners would love to talk to you about your projects, help you with partner technologies, welcome you to grab some cool swags, and participate in fun giveaways.
• Main Stage & Display: All the announcements will be running from the main stage itself. We will be running opening & closing ceremonies, keynote, workshops, mini-events, etc.
• Help Desk: In case of any query/question or problem that you would like to report to the organizers of the hackathon, we have a dedicated Hacker Help Desk right in front of the Lift. Feel free to visit us there and let us know how can we help.
• Mentor Desk: We have dedicated mentors to help you with your project-building journey during the hackathon, they will be attending your during the mentorship hours, other then that, you can find them near the Mentor Desk in the Hacking Area.
• Game Zone: We have some fun indoor games for you to indulge in during the intense hackathon hours. Take a break and spend some time near the Game Zone to relax and re-energize yourself.
• Rooms behind the Main Stage: Hackers are strictly prohibited in this area, as it is dedicated to the Humans of Hack This Fall only.

• Lift: The only lift working will be the left-side lift (the one near the main stage). Always use the lift to go from the 5th Floor to the Ground Floor and to return from the Ground Floor to the 5th Floor.
  • Some exception cases are as below:
    • Direction towards Women's Resting Area: Come to the 5th Floor using the lift and then take the left-side stairs (the one near the main stage).
    • Direction towards Men’s Resting Area: Come to the Ground Floor using the lift and then take the stairs beside the reception area.
    • DO NOT USE stairs (except in the case of an emergency and we do an official announcement to use stairs).
• Water Station:
  • We have the water stations in the sponsor booth area - the white color ones that you see on both sides of the booths (those look like washbasins, but believe us they serve drinking water only). There are water stations near your resting area as well.
  • Note: Please carry a reusable water bottle with you that can be refilled for your water intake and help us avoid plastic/thermocol for an eco-friendly and sustainable approach to water consumption at large events
• Washroom: There are enough washrooms at the venue. You can find them near your resting area.
