LawWorks "Wet Lab" Registration Page
Join us on TONIGHT, November 30, 2022 from 5:30-7:30 PM for our "Wet Lab"!

A “Wet Lab” is a controlled experiment conducted by officers from the Newport Beach Police Department to show the effects of alcohol on the human body. Four volunteers will drink alcohol and take field sobriety tests and breathalyzer tests at regular intervals.

This course fulfills the entire one-hour requirement for MCLE Competence Credit. It will educate participants on the levels of alcohol impairment and tests used to determine a DUI.

The MCLE program will begin at 5:30 PM. There will be networking intermissions featuring dinner and drinks during the two-hour course.

Location: LawWorks
18650 MacArthur Blvd. Suite 300. Irvine, CA 92612

*Note: We will need 4 volunteers that are the age of 21+ or older. As a Wet Lab volunteer, you should expect to drink 3 alcoholic beverages during the event and be subjected to breathalyzer and field sobriety tests. You must have a designated driver (using a ride-share service does not qualify). Volunteers may not drink any alcohol prior to the event, but may consume food at the event as usual.
