We are warming up for the first HeartFire concert with Mystic Shamanic Troubadour Murray Kyle from Australia. With his Heart Medicine and Earth honouring songs he creates a conscious wave of love across the globe.
In 2019 he opened the concert for Nahko Bear in pop temple Paradiso in Amsterdam and we immediately knew that we wanted to invite him for a ceremonial concert in Amsterdam. We feel excited that he added Amsterdam to his European Tour 2023 for his first solo concert on July 13th in The Netherlands!
In the midst of the Summer Season, when Grandfather Sun is high in the sky, we will gather in Het Zonnehuis (House of the Sun). A beautiful old art-deco theater with great sound and lighting.
His contagious soul-restoring music will sweep you off your feet, out of your head, and into your heart. So no chairs this time as we need some space to move our earthly bodies!
Support Opening is the wonderful Ilse Oversier, with her self-written songs she tells stories about the communication with nature.

About Murray Kyle
Murray Kyle is a prolific songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer. Murray has released multiple self produced studio albums over the last decade, grounded in unity consciousness, and dedicated to the re-awakening of the beauty way.
His journey in the worldwide heart music network has led to studio and live collaborations with artists such as Rising Appalachia, Nessi Gomes, Tina Malia, Trevor Hall, Elijah Ray, Peia, Shimshai and many more.

Ilse Oversier discovered her musicality from a young age and later her unique voice found its way out. Ilse has always felt a strong connection with nature, traditions and Indian tribes.
These sources of inspiration can be recognized in her heartwarming self-written songs. In January 2023, together with two string players, she released her debut album ‘Language Without Words’ with indie-folk music and lyrics that tell about the changing times on earth and how the language of nature communicates with us.
Let yourself be carried away by Ilse’s heartwarming voice and lyrics.
High Chai Tea House
High Chai Teahouse is a mobile teahouse that you will encounter at all our HeartFire concerts. Come home from your trip to the concert and get to meet old and new acquaintances in this dreamy Victorian ambiance. At the bar you can order the tastiest quality products from the Chai Angels.
The hand-brewed Chai Tea has grown famous, and you can only get it here. You will also find yogi tea, fresh mint, ginger and lemon tea. Not to mention all the sweet treats…. Both raw vegan and home-baked cakes, brownies and refreshing authentic drinks.
This bohemian atmosphere bar was designed by Ilona Dorgelo. The High Chai once started when Ilona made cake and chai for friends with a heartbreak. With the theater school and three-star restaurant De Librije as a background, this accidentally grew into a serious concept at our HeartFire concerts.

What To Bring
Please bring your own (meditation) cushion to sit on if you want to sit on the floor. There will be also chairs so no worries if you are not able or don’t want to sit on the floor.
How To Get There
The Vondelkerk is located just outside of the Vondelpark in Amsterdam, so nearby parking is not easy and not advised. We advise you to come by public transport or use your bicycle. Use Park & Ride facilities if you come by car to Amsterdam. Check the use of public transport here to plan your journey. Check the route description of how to get there, here.
Parking Garage
There are parking garages available:
- Parking Centrum Oosterdok, just next to Amsterdam Central Station (take public transport from here to the venue). Parking is EUR 10,- (for one whole day) if you book early, online otherwise EUR 25,- (day ticket) if you reserve upfront, with no reservation maximum of EUR 37,50.
- Or explore other options: Q-Park Byzantium, Q-Park Museumplein or Park Bee Overtoom.
