ACT Prep Course Spring 2023 Registration

The cost of EACH course is $40 and must be paid in the school guidance office BEFORE attending (make checks out to PLC Schools).

You can only sign up for ONE session per Saturday and should not repeat courses (i.e. don't take the science course at PL High and PL South because they are the same).

The prep course is taught by PLCS teachers and will provide a rigorous overview of the content, test-taking strategies, and include taking a retired ACT (and then going over the retired test with a teacher to address any misconceptions or questions if time allows).

The time for each Saturday session is 8:30-11:30 am.

Additional information will be emailed on the Friday before the scheduled session (for example, information regarding the March 11 session will be emailed on March 10).

This year we are offering two courses: ACT Prep Level 1 and ACT Prep Level 2.

ACT Prep 1 Level 1: Suggested for any student who has not previously taken the ACT OR has scored a 26 or lower on the ACT.

ACT Prep Level 2: Recommended for any student who has taken the ACT Prep Level 1 course OR scored a 27 or higher for the content area on the ACT. This course assumes students are proficient in time management and the basic content knowledge necessary for that subject area.
