Oops, sorry! We couldn’t stop singing this after reading the amazing Tribute Cherbear gives to Cathy! And, indeed, this is one heartwarming tribute, which solidifies the fact that sometimes just meeting someone while you’re playing a game can bring significant life changes!
1. What is your name?
Cherbear. I’m the leader of “We Got This”
2. What is the name of the person deserving recognition?
Cathy is my Co-leader and the best.
3. How do you know Cathy?
She is my side kick and Co-leader and friend.
4. Why do you feel Cathy deserves recognition?
She’s is a caring, compassionate, wonderful person who is always helping and making people happy. She is a friend that became family. I’ve been going through a lot and she has been such an encouragement for me to forget the rough times and fight for myself. And I did! In the crazy situation I’m in, I still aced my mid term exams and now my finals.
I’m a student at Gateway college in Connecticut and I’m going for DARC program, which will allow me to become a drug and alcohol counselor for kids so I can save lives during this opiate crisis. I was going to quit due to my living situation, but Cathy gave me hope and determination and I ran with it and succeeded.
She helps everyday. She’s like the sun — she rises and brightens your day and you get that warm feeling inside and know that you are loved.
5. If you were at an awards show, handing Cathy a “Golden Tiki” for her amazingness, what would you say?
This award goes to the greatest partner I’ve ever had. The woman with the most spirit and pizazz, and I couldn’t thank God for a better friend. Friends are the people who see past your flaws and accept that you, too, are only human. No one deserves thus award more than her. I present this Golden Tiki award to you Cathy (Cat) Meeeoowww… my partner with the most spunk and the biggest heart I know.

7. If you could have Cathy come visit you for a day, where would you take them and what would you do?
I would take her to Christmas Wonderland so we could enjoy the beautiful lights together.
8. What else do you know about Cathy?
She’s married to the love of her life, hubby Marc. They have four kids, and eight grandkids. She lives in Texas and she’s just had a birthday on November 5th. And her and I both have daughters named Jessica… lol!
9. If you could dedicate a song to her, which song would it be?
If I could dedicate a song to her it would be Dionne Warwick “That’s What Friends are For”!
