R2A Review - A wrap of Engineering Due Diligence

Welcome to the Autumn issue of our newsletter where we are launching a few exciting new projects.

First, we have received the first print run of our new booklet; Project Governance - How to Demonstrate Due Diligence (A Practical Guide for Directors). You will find further details below, along with a coupon code to receive a discount for the launch.

We will officially launch the booklet online on Tuesday 30 May with a one-hour free webinar where Richard and I will discuss how R2A came to deliver project governance and what is outlined in the booklet.

Something completely different - we’re starting a podcast! Risk! Engineers Talk Governance will be a seasonal podcast with 10 episodes on specific topics, starting with the difference between SFAIRP and ALARP. We will also record additional, episodes for requested and timely topics, and hope to get some special guests along for chats. We’re launching with an introductory episode which you can find below.

If you have any questions relating to engineering due diligence and how to demonstrate SFAIRP for your credible critical issues, please get in touch with me or Richard – we are always happy to chat. Email admin@r2a.com.au or call 1300 772 333.

Until next time,

Gaye Francis

NEW BOOKLET LAUNCH

Project Governance - How To Demonstrate Due Diligence

How can Directors & Senior Decision Makers ensure major projects come in on-spec, time and budget?

R2A's Project Governance booklet - How to Demonstrate Due Diligence; A Practical Guide for Directors - articulates how directors and senior decision makers can positively demonstrate good project governance and due diligence for large complex projects. That is, to ensure that major projects come in on-spec, time and budget, and operationally achieve the project’s objectives. The booklet outlines a process that has never failed to date for projects ranging from $10m to $3b in 30 years of practice.

Written by R2A Co-Directors, Gaye Francis (BE MAICD FIEAust) and Richard Robinson (BA BE MRSV FIEAust Hon FAMPI), who are experienced Expert Witnesses in common law cases in Australia and New Zealand.  The Booklet is based on their successful  Engineering Due Diligence Text.

To celebrate the launch, we are offering an introductory booklet price of $45. Simply enter PGLAUNCH as a coupon code once in your cart. Offer available until 30 June.

We also have the booklet as part of a new bundle with our Criminal Manslaughter Directors’ Cut that was updated in January (as was the Engineering Due Diligence text).
