Visit the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem and get a recording of your tour.
Please note that due to the limited opening hours of the churches and the time difference, some of tours will focus on the outside of the churches.
In this unique tour you have two guides in two locations. Khaled, a Muslim Palestinian at the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem and Raanan, an Israeli Jew at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
I was born and grew up in Tel Aviv. I started my career in tourism in the 1980’s as a field guide in the Dead Sea and Judean Desert, and have since devoted the past 25 years to the environmental shpere in Nature Protection in a non for profit organization and Environmental management and policy in the Ministry of Environment in Israel and in international environmental projects.
Today I am a certified tour guide specializing in Jerusalem and the three Abrahamic religions.
I live on the outskirts of Jerusalem, happily married , father to four children and grandfather to five.
I was born and grew up in Bethlehem, a mixed Christian and Muslim city in the Palestinian Authority. After earning an engineering degree in the prestigious Novosibirsk University in Russia, I decided at one point in my life to pursue my curiosity and appreciation for different cultures and passion for traveling, and became a certified tour guide.
And so, for the past 15 years I have worked as a tour guide in Bethlehem and other important and significant locations and sites in the Holy Land. I have served as a lecturer at the school of Tourism at Dar Al Kalima University at Behtlehem.
I live in Bethlehem, happily married and am a father to four children.
