Model European Union Sofia 2021 (MEU Sofia 2021) is an educational simulation of the decision making process of the European Union (EU).

This year’s edition of the project will be a bit different and include a simulation of the European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI). We wanted to involve young enthusiastic people in this new process and to achieve this we contacted Bulgarian schools, who have come up with the European Citizens' Initiatives that you will be voting on and supporting through this form. The ideas developed by these high schoolers have also been uploaded on our website found here: (https://www.meusofia.eu/vote)

The voting process for the simulation of the European Citizens' Initiatives lasts from 8 April 2021 to 6 May 2021. To vote, you are required to fulfill the following criteria:

- Be a EU citizen
- Be old enough to vote in European Parliament elections in your country (18 years old for all EU Member States, 17 for Greece, 16 for Austria and Malta)
