A haiku is a short Japanese poem consisting of three lines and a total of 17 syllables. The first and last lines of a haiku have five syllables and the middle line has seven syllables.
Teens can submit up to two original haiku poems in person or through this Google Form. Judges will award prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Winners will be announced by March 27, 2023.
Open to participants aged 13-18.
