9:30 a.m. in person
11 a.m. in person and online
At 9:30, we continue to hold Children’s Religious Education most Sundays, and also provide child care. Child care for toddlers through elementary grades is offered at 11. People of all ages are also always welcome in the service! For the safety of our children during COVID, only caregivers and religious educators will visit the children’s areas.
Please write your name and contact information on the clipboard at the welcome table in front of the Main Hall before taking your seat. This is for contact tracing purposes only, so that we can reach everyone should someone here report a case of COVID. Thanks for helping us help further public health in the county.
To enter the Main Hall building, please show your vaccination card. We can keep them on file here for you (privacy-protected) so that you can enter more rapidly next time.
Please wear a mask on campus, and an N95 or equivalent inside the Main Hall (we have them at the welcome table if you need one). It is fine to raise it to take a drink or speak from the mic.
Restrooms are located in the Main Hall lobby and in the building with the light blue doors, next to the main office. All are for all genders.
At 11 a.m., those online share their joys and sorrows in writing and hear them spoken aloud by the worship leaders. Likewise, if you are attending the 11 a.m. service in person, please use the table up front to light candles and/or write your joy or sorrow on the provided cards. A mic is also available for greater accessibility.

Have you been considering membership in UUCPA? Almost all of our activities are open to all. However, those who wish to have a say about the congregation’s direction, or who share its purpose and spirit, usually opt for formal, voting membership. The next several days are a good time for it, because the Board’s March 23 meeting is the last time the Board members will affirm new members in time for all to vote at the annual meeting on April 24. To learn more or receive a membership form, speak to John Wright, Membership & Engagement Coordinator–you’ll find him near the Welcome Table or at johnwright@uucpa.org.
Ukraine: Faith-Based Resources for Prayer, Reflection, Action Our hearts go out to the people of Ukraine in these difficult days. Many organizations are offering suggestions of ways to help and organizations to which one can donate. If you find yourself overwhelmed or just wondering how to decide what to do, please check the website for Multifaith Voices for Peace and Justice, of which UUCPA is a founding member. The website has resources, prayers, suggestions for action and places to donate, including links to the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee’s statement about Ukraine. You can also donate directly to the UUSC’s Emergency Response Fund here.
Do you ever wonder if you are too UU to be Christian and too Christian to be UU? Connect with the Unitarian Universalist Christian Fellowship!: non-creedal followers of Jesus rooted in the history and tradition of Unitarian Universalism. Check out their Wednesday Word, UU-oriented Bible study, guidance for forming a small group in one’s local congregation, and other resources at the above link. Where are the door handles? Tim Berry took the wooden handles of the Main Hall front doors off to refurbish them. If they’re not back by this morning, they will be in a week or so, looking like new. Thanks, Tim!

Mysterious Presence, source of all —
the world without, the soul within —
thou fount of life, O hear our call,
and pour thy living waters in.
Thou breathest in the rushing wind,
thy spirit stirs in leaf and flower;
nor wilt thou from the willing mind
withhold thy light and love and power.
Thy hand unseen to accents clear
awoke the psalmist’s trembling lyre,
and touched the lips of holy seer
with flame from thine own altar fire.
That touch divine again impart,
still give the prophet’s burning word;
and vocal in each waiting heart
let living psalms of praise be heard.

Be thou my vision, O God of my heart;
naught be all else to me, save that thou art.
Thou my best thought, by day or by night,
waking or sleeping, thy presence my light.
Be thou my wisdom, and thou my true word;
I ever with thee and thou with me God;
thou my soul’s shelter, thou my high tower,
raise thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.
Riches I heed not, nor world’s empty praise,
thou my inheritance, now and always;
thou and thou only, first in my heart,
Sov’reign of heaven, my treasure thou art.
Benediction All
