It’s yet another season of the GeeksforGeeks Write it Up event where you can share your experiences and win exciting goodies. As simple as it sounds, all you have to do is visit our portal and write up about your experiences, whether of an interview, campus, admission, job, Competitive exam, preparation, coaching, some hackathon, fest, or your career Journey.

With every published experience, you come closer to winning amazing GFG goodies. Also this time, Contributors with the most number of experiences will be rewarded. So, participate actively and win yourself exciting gifts.

Write It Up 2024

This year you can also share your career journey and guide school students who share similar dreams in career navigation. You can write about your journey starting from school, what made you choose your career, exams you took up, degree persued, courses and approaches required, Do’s and Don’ts to get to your dream Career. You can even share about your careless mistakes that you would like others to learn from. Your journey can guide students to choose the right career path and approach.

So, Share all your relevant experiences, enlighten our readers with useful information and insights, and grab your rewards.

Eligibility

We are accepting all sorts of experiences including interview experiences, admission experiences, campus experiences, work experiences, competitive exam experiences, coaching experiences, fest experiences, etc. So almost everyone can participate in this event from students pursuing a degree, aspirants interviewing for jobs/internships, Students preparing for an exam, attending a contest/hackathons or fest, to someone with a job-holding experience, a fresher or someone with a career journey to share. There is no eligibility criteria as such. There are just some points you should keep in mind before sharing an experience:

  • The experience shared by you must not have already been published on GeeksforGeeks.
  • It must not be plagiarised from some other source/platform.
  • The information shared must be correct and indubitable.

NOTE: Please share personal experiences only. No AI-Generated experiences will be entertained. It will get discarded, and you can get disqualified from the event even if of some of your experiences are published.

Rewards

In this event, every contributor whose shared experience gets published has a chance to be a winner. We will be rewarding top contributors in this event with a keyboard and mouse set, GFG t-shirt, GFG bag, GFG stationary (Pen, Stickers, Keyring, Diary).

Top contributors will be decided based on the number of experiences published by them and content quality of those experiences. You can also win exciting gfg goodies depending on your number of experiences that got published :

  • T-Shirt if 4 experiences gets published
  • Bag if 6 experiences gets published
  • T-Shirt and a bag if more than 8 experiences gets published

Note: We won’t be delivering goodies outside India.

How to Participate?

The process of participating and sharing your experiences with us in Write it up is very easy. It doesn’t require any prior application. Follow the below-mentioned steps to be part of this event:

Go to the following https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/

Step 1: Register on our GeeksforGeeks portal.

Step 2: Go to https://write.geeksforgeeks.org/ and choose what you want to write Interview, admission ,campus, work, exam, coaching experience or career journey) and click on its respective card and write your experience.

Step 3:

The write portal will take you to create a new post which is very simple to navigate. After creating the post, you can ‘SAVE’ the article and preview it to see how it is looking. The only category you need to add manually is “Write it up 2024”. Thereafter, you should click the ‘SUBMIT FOR REVIEW’ button and the status of your article will become ‘PENDING

  • Our internal team will review it and if it required any modification then they will give you feedback in the comments under the article and saves your article status to Awaiting Author. After you have made all the required improvements as per the feedback, your article status becomes “PENDING” again.
  • When your article gets published, the status of your article becomes Published.

Your experience might help someone who is struggling to pick a good college, someone who is indecisive to whether pick or drop an offer, and even help someone crack their dream job/internship interview. So, actively participate in this event and share your experiences with us.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a limit to number of experiences one can share?

You can share any number of experiences as long as they are authentic. Goodies you receive will vary according to the count of experiences published.

I have worked in multiple companies. So can I submit more than one work experience?

Yes, you can share your work experiences in each of the companies you worked for individually.

Can we submit Interview Experiences of only IT jobs?

The answer is no. You can share your Interview Experience of any other branches of engineering or other any courses as well.

Can I share internship experience with an organisation?

Yes, you can share your internship experience in whatever field or domain you worked as an intern under working experience section in our portal.

How to register to participate in the event?

There is no need to register to take part in the event.

Will experiences with publishing get paid for this event?

No, we don’t pay for the Interview Experiences.
