The Group B Strep International Conference (ISSAD) is looking to form a 'Young ISSAD' Student committee to advise on communication and events leading up to and contributing to ISSAD 2023 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

Please find a draft ToR below to be discussed at the first ‘Young ISSAD’ Committee  meeting in Sept 2022.

Draft Terms of reference of the ‘Young ISSAD’ Student Committee 

This committee will meet approximately 8 times and will be responsible for the following tasks:  
 
*‘Young ISSAD’ Events - Agenda oversight on 3 events, propose content with some committee members to act as session leads and coordinate content 
*'Young ISSAD’, Comms and online discussion group ideas
*Ideas for ISSAD 2023 conference
*Partnering and promoting the virtual and face- to face events, including dissemination of the ISSAD conference through your networks to help leverage opportunities and funding 

‘Young ISSAD’ committee meetings will be held via zoom roughly on 4 times a term basis, with the first to be held in September 2022 and approximately 8 meetings expected in total. 

We are recruiting members of the committee that are diverse in terms of skills to cover from lab to service delivery, covering all the topics in GBS and global regions and key partners. All meetings and events will be in English.
